What a fantastic event last night was as those of you that attended will agree. We had a brilliant turnout with many students from various universities to hear Davinder Singh’s talk. It was a multi faith event where everyone took something away (even if it was a somsah)!

But forget us going on here are some of your comments:

“….I feel so inspirited, RHUL Sikh Soc have done such an amazing job with this event and I am so glad I came†Rupal

“…I can’t believe the mix of people was amazing! And everyone enjoyed it, thanks again†Pravinder

“…It was brilliant coming to my old university and seeing the students. I had a fabulous time and thought the planning behind the event was phenomenal. Well-done RHUL Sikh Soc. Keep it up†Davinder Singh (guest speaker)

“The talk was very good†Terwinder

“Twas a marvellous evening. The work has paid off†Ravinderpal

“…Totally full of ego†Anon

We would like to re-iterate our thank you messages once again:

1. Davinder Singh for such an inspiring and heart warming talk. You touched the hearts of many and spoke from the heart. It was an honour to have you at Royal Holloway. Thank you

2. Mejinderpal Kaur for encouraging us to get more involved with ‘sewa’…voluntary service. Also to Manpreet who helped collect the money on behalf of United Sikhs. Thank you

3. Sukh for making the fantastic flyer. Thank you

4. Prabhs, Diviya and Kiran for helping with the food and guiding people to the talk in the rain! Thank you

5. Rumta our proposer at camp, the one who made this dream a reality, kept us all on track! Thank you

6. Jasjot with the advertising. I remember emailing him so late and he still managed to get the emails out on time. Also to Harv and Guv for picking people up from the station to bring them to the talk! Thank you

7. Father Vlad, his Religion and Conflicts class of elite intellectuals for attending, particular thanks to the ISOC and Catholic spirit for their support.

8. The most important Thank you goes to our beloved WAHEGURU! Without whom this event would not have been possible. Without his grace we are nothing at all. We bow only before you Waheguru ji. Thank you for guiding us and making this event such a success. May you forgive us for any mistakes and bless us with your kirpa for more events such as these. Thank you x

Take care and watch this space for more events.
