In Gurbani it mentions 36 varites of food and also 36 ages befor anything was created

jug shhatheeh gubaar this hee bhaaeiaa ||

For thirty-six ages, God remained in utter darkness, as He pleased

what are the 36 varieties and the 36 ages?

i always wondered about this too.. can someone with great knowledge of historical context(uthanka) and spiritual context of gurbani please shed light on this.
