it is not only forbidden for Muslims to physically revolt or rebel against the ruler, be he righteous or tyrannical, but to also denounce and criticise him publically in his absence. The reason being is that such a choice of action invariably leads to greater harm. It is from the fundamental principles of the Shari'ah (Divine Legislation) that if the preponderance of evidence for a given action points to the resultant harm being equal to or greater than the benefit, then it is impermissible to actualise. This wise ruling stems from the objectives (maqaasid) of the Shari'ah, which includes the preservation of five necessities (daruriyyah) that need to be sustained in order to ensure individual and social welfare and to stave off both unbearable hardship in this life and potential punishment in the hereafter. These five basic human rights are:

    1. Religion (deen)

    2. Life (nafs)

    3. Intellect ('aql)

    4. Property (maal)

    5. Lineage (nasl)

Not exactly a refutation to Adeeba, more like an attack against Islamic theology but still an interesting read regarding this particular episode:

Yes Tisarpant blog is heavily opiniated however his ability to dig out various sources and bring together into an article is commendable. I often leave his analysis aside and just go for the various quotes and sources he provides.

Reading those articles is akin to being dictated to lol; on the other hand the admin is making a commendable effort. His analysis is quite polemical to say the least. Look at the digs he takes at Hindus, Muslims and even Sikh Babas themselves:

Of great significance, the householder’s life, in opposition to renunciation, emphasizes social involvement in all spheres of life. So unique was this departure from traditional Indic thought, that several orders accused the Guru of having ‘diluted the milk of spiritualism with the acid of familial life.’ (53) The Guru however retorted that without the existence of families to beg from, these orders and their charades would have ceased to exist long ago. (54) Other than the adolescent Guru, Guru Harkrishen Sahib Ji all the Gurus were married men and leading householders. ‘One who is incapable of making an effort to earn a living, has his ears split (sign of asceticism; interjection ours) or becomes a mendicant. He declares himself to be a Guru or Saint but begs from door to door. Do not emulate such an individual or touch his feet. Only he knows righteousness, who earns by effort and shares his earnings with others.’ (55) It is a Herculean irony that rather than honoring the idealism of their Gurus, Sikhs instead choose to honor men who in a direct contrast to the Guru live out their lives in secluded deras, whilst renouncing the concept of family and family oriented life. Such recluses are the collective shame of the Khalsa Panth.

@amardeepThat piece from tisarpanth you linked to is atrocious man! lol  It's just another piece of jut propaganda.

The peasantry want to look close to home (i..e. amongst themselves) for the cause of their woes.

    To translate a Panjabi saying:

If you continually place jackasses on the throne, learn to bear the donkey's kicks.

Badal/Akali Dal/SGPC - Run by, dominated by, and repeatedly voted in by.......  do the maths.

What a bunch of tossers - crying about your own self-inflicted leadership.......you couldn't make it up.

Veer Ji, if you read Tisarpanth's other articles you will see he/she is quite opposed to Jats as well.

    https://tisarpanthdotcom.wordpress.com/2016/04/24/misconceptions-ii/

When they first published that article, there was a massive outcry on their facebook page with many Jats accusing them of Casteism, anti-Jat tendencies and prejudice. Though this may be a divergence, I would say that among the Rajputs and Marathas we should also add the Jats; they too failed to birth any substantial revolution against the Sullahs.

  4. The possibility here is the cow might have got killed by the person accidentally ..the mentality of the so called priestly class then was to extract money in the name of conducting rituals to 'free' the person of the 'sin' and Guru Sahib knew the futility of such rituals which would follow.

Uggardanti Bani by Guru Sahib says "gau ghat ka dukh jagat se mitau"

Hmmm thats a very good way of looking at it.

  5. I was wondering whether you can assist me with the following queries in relation to Guru Sahibaans' hunting:

1.) How do we justify the Gurus' hunting in light of Shabads in Gurbani which are deemed to be pro-vegetarian and against killing? i.e. (1103) You kill living beings, and call it a righteous action. Tell me, brother, what would you call an unrighteous action? You call yourself the most excellent sage; then who would you call a butcher?

(1128) One who contemplates the essence of reality remains awake and aware. He kills his self-conceit, and does not kill anyone else.

(1375) Kabir, they oppress living beings and kill them, and call it proper. When the Lord calls for their account, what will their condition be? Kabir, it is tyranny to use force; the Lord shall call you to account. When your account is called for, your face and mouth shall be struck.

2.) What would Guru Sahibaans do if the animal suffered i.e. a warrior has brought an animal down with an arrow and the latter is suffering. What would the Guru's recommend?

3.) Essentially, why did the Gurus' hunt?

4.) What types of animals is the Khalsa not allowed to hunt/consume?

5.) What were the Gurus' views on excessive hunting?

6.) Why is Halal forbidden to the Khalsa?

Thank you very much and I look forward to your response.

  6. In the article it says that the Granth is older then both panth prkash and Sri gurprtap suraj Granth and should have more credibility which it should but then the tapobanis make themselves hypocrites. Gurbilas patshahi 6 was written I think 10 years after Sri guru gobind Singh ji joti jot and in gurbilas patshahi 6 it says that raag mala was read. These tapobanis and akjs don't believe this at all.

    Hypocrites

I thought it was written during Maharaj's time.

  7. Are all Indian prime ministers urine drinkers like Desai? No wonder the country is full of open air shitters. If the PMs drink urine or are on a urine therapy what would you expect the citizens of that country to do? You would expect them to shit in open spaces and go to bed on empty stomachs won't you?

Modi's visit to US has benefitted India tremendously. Upon his return to India he took hold of a broom and started a clean up campaign. I think he was quite impressed to see clean and shiny toilets at Obama residence and couldn't wait to go back home to clean the shit out of the country and what's more he has also promised to build indoor toilets for Indians to relieve their suffering in the privacy of their homes in future. He now admits this will solve two major problems facing India in the 21st century. It will reduce the number of gang rapes conducted by hindu men on hindu women as well as India will be cleaned up of faecal waste (filth) lying everywhere on the side streets, the busy major roads and public buildings. There will be no naked bums in sight from now on. The urine drinker PM further admits this will also halt the hindus from urinating on the walls which are covered with graffiti images of hindu gods and goddesses such as shiva, krishna, laxmi and many more.

India has now joined the League of the Civilized Nations!! Welcome to the LCN!!

    Finally lol.

  8. this is all the info i got till now on it

Interesting. Always thought Gajgah and Ashtbhuj were different. According to my research the Gajgah was given to Singhs who killed an elephant alone or brought it down without any assistance. The Ashtbhuj however finds mention solely in the ithiaas of Dasam patshah. Did Guru Ji have it specifically built? Was it given to them? And what do the eight arms represent?

  9. Please share some of your experiences in light of 9/11 and if possible please answer the following questions.

*Was the targeting of a majority of non-Caucasians (specifically brown-skinned) individuals an exhibition of deep rooted colonial bias?

*In retrospect, was 9/11 a somewhat positive step towards forcing Sikhs to utilize the media?

*What factors lead to all 'turbans' being classified as Islamic and thus radical head gear?

*How has the racism, exhibited 9/11, affected the diaspora's perception of Western nations?

*What are the social lessons of 9/11?

  10. Singhs have confronted Gyani Ji about this.

They've confirmed that this is true.

And apparently, Gyani Ji still maintains that it was the Bibi's 'bad karam' that caused it.... (seriously!)

About the audio, ....not once has he denied it (on the phone with the Bibi). He blames the Bibi's 'bad karam' instead. (So, something definitely did happen).

Also, to accept that something like this could have happened, does not mean that we're being judgmental. It should simply make us wary of our own vices...till the very end.

He's muslim. 'She made me do it.'

  11. WJKK WJKF

veer ji, I see your point and where your coming from totally 100%, but I know these morons have been upto these sorta things and a lot worse, for a very long time. Reason being one of my close family friends was in a similar situation as this strong sister, but far worser. So from past experiences, I know this organisation hiding behind their titles and the goodness of nirmal establishments get away with it. Hence why I said I have been waiting for when they will get caught and surely they have.

Also what "real" evidence are you waiting for to criminalise Thakur Singh? The video clip speaks volumes.

Ironically when a 'sant' rapes someone, Punjabi f****s think it's a divine sacrament otherwise why would they be so quiet?

  12. There was also a false allegation with dhadi tarsem Singh moranwali. Lot of people like to watch Sikhi be destroyed.

I have seen Gyani lie myself, and no I am not anti-Taksali or anti-Sikh in anyway. A whole group of us went to meet him oneday in NZ and we had to wait because he woke up at 12'o clock , sunlight. He then himself told us that he did not do any Nitnem because he was gifting his bandgi to us. You really think such a man is worth people's time? I had a lot of respect for him but lost it when I saw his charitars. When he saw the dollars flowing he went all the way to contradict himself, and day 'Maj.Gen Shubeg Singh died in my laps.' 'You should not cook soy chunks or kidney beans in langar. You should never ever wear even a red or green shirt or any other clothing item of that color.' Here's another charitar, you can ring the Ravidassiya community in NZ, and ask them. He promised to hold an amrit sanchar in their Gurughar.

The day arrived and the Gyani marched along to the Gurudwara. Had a look around, lifted the amrit bata (through the ceremony) on his head and walked out. When he was asked to explain this he was mum. All hes useful for is causing division among Sikhs. I am not jumping the gun here, but Gyani sure as hell wants to chew a few bullets from the looks of it.
