Gurbani/Gurmat is the Metapath, the rest are just flavours of the same direction, but not the same endpoint, as the different gurus/pirs/pagambars can only lead as far as they have attained that particular consciouss level .
While with the teachings in Gurbani as per Nam bhakti, one reaches the highest and ultimate goal of Waheguru Akal Purkh.

You shall attain the Gate of Liberation while yet alive.

Found the above couple of beautiful verses as ever from Guru Jee, where we are assured, that if we correctly devote ourselves to Him by meditating upon HIM, we do not have to wait  for liberation after death, rather get the so desired liberation RIGHT NOW while being alive.

ਥਿਰੁ ਘਰਿ ਬੈਠੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪਨਾ ਪਾਵਹੁ ॥੨॥

Remain steady and stable within the home of your own self, and find God. |

Guru Jee tells us, nowhere outside never ever, but within yourself, by ONLY meditating upon Him.

What time is good time to do the  bhakti of meditating upon Him?

ਊਠਤ ਬੈਠਤ ਸੋਵਤ ਧਿਆਈਐ ॥

Oothath Baithath Sovath Dhhiaaeeai ||

While standing up, and sitting down, and even while asleep, meditate on the Lord.

Moreover:

ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਜਿਸੁ ਵਿਸਰਹਿ ਨਾਹੀ ॥

Aath Pehar Jis Visarehi Naahee ||

One who does not forget the Lord, twenty-four hours a day, is emancipated;

Note: this means, any time of the day which may suit us,  and spent in the rememberance of our beloved Waheguru, is all good time.

There is no barrier in time, all time spent in His remeberance is sacred and most valuable, for  it is added in our spiritual account, the only wealth we shall carry with us when departing from this plane.

How to please the Lord Waheguru Akal Purukh?

ਸੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪੈ ਜੋ ਜਨੁ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

So Naam Japai Jo Jan Thudhh Bhaavai ||1|| Rehaao ||

He alone pleases You , who chants the Naam. ||

Darshan dekh jeeva Gur tera

Pooran karam hovay Prabh mera.

Charan kamal vasae mere cheeta

Nanak ek karae ardaas

Jis ko poorab likhiya tinn Satgur charan gahe

ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨਾ ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਹੈ ਮੈਲਾ ਦੂਜੈ ਭਰਮਿ ਪਤਿ ਖੋਈ ॥੨॥

Naam Binaa Sabh Jag Hai Mailaa Dhoojai Bharam Path Khoee ||2||

Without the Name, the whole world is polluted; wandering in duality, it loses its honor. ||2||

Everyone is a beggar; God is the Great Giver.

The Treasure of Virtue is the Infinite, Endless Lord.

That person, unto whom God grants His Mercy

- that humble being chants the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||3||

ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਇ ਜਾਸੀ ਧੂਰ ॥੨॥

Naam Binaa Hoe Jaasee Dhhoor ||2||

Without the Naam, the Name of the Lord, everything is reduced to dust. ||2||

therefore

ਸੰਗਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਰੇ ਸਗਲ ਪਸਾਰੀ ॥

Sang Naahee Rae Sagal Pasaaree ||

Of all this expanse, nothing shall go along with you.

Changes do not happen when circumstances improve....
Changes happen when "You" decide to improve your circumstances!

Bin Navai Sabh Bharamehi Kachae ||7||

Without the Name, all the false ones wander deluded. ||7||
