  1. So recently I found out I have anterior pelvic tilt. It's a very noticeable curve in the lower back area. The main cause is usually sitting, poor posture etc. I want to fix this because it leads to occasional lower back pain. It does not lead to pain often but it will most likely get worse over time.

I have decided I want to start yoga to correct it. Does anyone have anything in mind? I've heard yoga can help spirituality as well, so are there any types of yoga that could aid spirituality while correcting the posture problem?

My other question from this is what are the spiritual benefits of posture type yoga's? How do they work internally? I've had this question for a while.

In reference to this, there is a similarity in sikhi from what I gather, and that is a HUKAM direct from Akaal Purakh can definitely be heard if you are lucky enough.  Next time just hold on sit tight and don't wander, just let the Mind continue listening.

I must admit one thing... I was very very scared when it was happening. Did not know what I was falling into.

  3. I have had this problem for a while and the issue is that when my mind becomes very focused my body might flinch.

i.e. when it gets to the point where my mind and sound of voice are in perfect union my arm might twitch very hard and I'll lose the state. Many times I even flinch like you would when someone unexpectedly pretends to throw something at you.

The longest the union lasts is a few moments. Probably 30 seconds at most. It isn't recently that this has started, it's been a while and I can't maintain the union for more than a few moments so I feel like I'm making a mistake somewhere.

Has anyone else experienced this barrier?

  4. I never want to talk in these conversations because

    1. All of you are a lot more experienced and knowledgeable than me so I will most likely say something stupid

    2. There's wayyyyyy tooooo much to read

Anyways, all I want to say is that everyone is a saint at the end of the day. Some people recognize who they are more than others. That is the only difference. All that exists is jot/universe/oneness etc. Nothing is outside of this. So why not just express love towards everyone?

They haven't done anything to you. Even if they did, it's just the oneness doing something to the oneness. If it is not in your control then why carry it on your back? I mean if there is something you can change then change it but if something is not in your control then what are you going to achieve by carrying it around in your mind? If someone even speaks of spirituality they deserve nothing but love.

End of day, whether you talk negative about someone who has recognized themself does not matter. They are not thinking of you even if you are constantly bashing them in your mind. If you can get something out of them then take full advantage. If you can't then keep walking, don't dwell on it and carry them on your back. You may not be physically worshipping them but in a way you are mentally worshipping them even if it is nindhia.

I would cut off my head, and cut it into pieces, O Nanak, and set it down for the Saints to walk upon. ||4||3||

Is anyone a student here? Do you start to feel very down during exam time as well? This is a very big problem for me. Exam period may be short but is a very depressing time. I feel very isolated and start react very bad in most situations. I rarely ever get mad but my anger spiked a few times today.

Sustaining meditation is the hardest part.

What did you folks do during your time in school?

Bro, there is a Gurudwara in Wilmot (near Kitchener). Daas is pretty sure that you must be going there. There is good amount of Sangat there.

Is there any other Gurudwara in Waterloo/Kitchener area?

    Bhul chuk maaf

Yes there is a gurdwara in Kitchener area. Punjabi population has become heavy but Sikh population is still very slowly growing. We've tried Simran in the past but no one really came. It's mainly just Sunday morning diwan. There's almost no youth Sikhi though.

@HisServant   Bro , they streaming live everyday 4:30 am to 5:30 am mornings, 7pm-8 pm,   tune it

& hows the pressure in forehead now ? better?

    Perfect.

And yes, the pressure is getting better. Asked @Lucky and @BhagatSingh for help as well. This was a very hard barrier but what I learned was to just slow down the jaap and work harder to make sure all focus is on the sound. Over time the mind gets very very calm and stable and you start to completely absorb into the focus. These gurmukhs understand what it is better than me though.

What's currently happening is that the energy either becomes very intoxicating and spreads throughout the body or pressure builds up in the forehead/top of head regions. Still playing around with it.

Sangat ji, I'm not sure if this has been discussed before. I wasn't able to find a discussion related to this. What are your views when it comes to what types of food to eat. One thing that I wonder is why does spice tolerance go down a lot of the time when your bhagti is going well.

    ਸਿਰੀਰਾਗੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੧ ॥
    Siree Raag, First Mehl:

    ਸਭਿ ਰਸ ਮਿਠੇ ਮੰਨਿਐ ਸੁਣਿਐ ਸਾਲੋਣੇ ॥
    Believing, all tastes are sweet. Hearing, the salty flavors are tasted;

    ਖਟ ਤੁਰਸੀ ਮੁਖਿ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਮਾਰਣ ਨਾਦ ਕੀਏ ॥
chanting with one's mouth, the spicy flavors are savored. All these spices have been made from the Sound-current of the Naad.

    ਛਤੀਹ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਭਾਉ ਏਕੁ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇਇ ॥੧॥
The thirty-six flavors of ambrosial nectar are in the Love of the One Lord; they are tasted only by one who is blessed by His Glance of Grace. ||1||

    ਬਾਬਾ ਹੋਰੁ ਖਾਣਾ ਖੁਸੀ ਖੁਆਰੁ ॥
O Baba, the pleasures of other foods are false.

    ਜਿਤੁ ਖਾਧੈ ਤਨੁ ਪੀੜੀਐ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਚਲਹਿ ਵਿਕਾਰ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Eating them, the body is ruined, and wickedness and corruption enter into the mind. ||1||Pause||

To add to that, a lot of people eat mainly from sarbloh is there any spiritual benefit from this or is it primarily just an iron booster?

way to advanced stuff, went over the top of my head, i will just stick to basics lol

If I'm honest, my punjabi is extremely weak so I struggle with Punjabi katha... especially Bhai Sewa Singh Tarmala. When I do understand it's mind blowing though.

If anyone could translate the technique that would be great. Just a brief overview. I think I understood a good junk though.
