Ohh god!! Dhan Guru Maharaj hi buddh bakshan aisa paap  krn vaalea nu!!

This is really too much!! When sikhs were protesting then police men were there to shoot them and did killed two of them but where were they when Maharaj's saroop was being stolen and after seeing that unexpected beadbi?? Even imagining this or pronouncing this is so cruel but what when these paapis actually made that happen!!

    So embarrasing for entire panth!!

Dhan Guru Maharaj himatt dain apne sikhan nu!!

  2. So you think you have more knowledge than all the Gyanis/Saints above?

    Bhul chuk maaf

Where did I say so??? Show me! Again same thing, you make others to think and believe what you want! How can you make other to think like this? More knowledge than gyanis or sants?? How can you use this statement just to secure yourself.I know what I think of gyanis or sants!! I'm sorry!! That statement hurt me! And indirectly you said so wrong ..

    WJKK WJKF!!

    Hadd ho gyi!!

  3. dairy farms are just as bad Bhenji so if that upsets you, you should not be using dairy products either.

I dont think if they are as bad as meat or egg farms .In india ,Dairy farms are like homes of Farm men especially in Punjab. There cows and buffaloes are provided with all adequate and nutritious diet and are cared with all possible measures. What kinda cruelity you are talking about? I've seen people loving their cattles and taking care of them as their babies.

  4. Since it's been a very controversial topic here about eggs eating and that egg eating topic was closed ,so I'm posting here a very interesting and eye opening reading. Please guys MUST MUST read it! Hope after giving a look at this,no one will make further excuses to promote these bloody egg farms.

    MUST GIVE A LOOK!!

  5. Even the devi/devatay want a human body.   jis dehi ko simreh dev so dehi bhaj har ki sev :  The human body for which the gods/goddesses thirst, use that human body to do simran

    WAH HE GURU!!

    Guru sahib's hukam:

    "Bhajho Gobind bhool matt jao"

    And we paapi ,att neech!!!

  6. You have to look at the whole thing. The woman is "ardhangani" - half of something. She is the half of a marriage. That means the man can only be half as well.

Ardhangani was a term that Bhagwan Shiv Ji used to describe Mata Parbati when one of the Sapt Rishis wanted to worship only Bhagwan Ji. Bhagwan told the Rishi that I cannot be worshipped alone. Parbati is my Ardhangani, she is half of me.

Thank you so much veer ji for your precious input.Otherwise I was so confused. If that came out true, then probably I would have been thinking to end this life. big Lol!!

  7. Yes I just listened right back!

Dhan Guru sahib's Baani!! Dhan Gurbaani!!

First of all veer ji ,sant ji nowhere discussed the above tukk.So how can you put our own assumptions in any Gurbani tuk?

And sant ji said"jhriya mayiaa shri sukhmani sahib da paath manukha dehi vaaste krdiya ney oh dubaara manukha dehi praapat krdiya, beant purkha di prapat krdiaa.te jo kuj nhi oh muktt ho jaandia".

See!ohna de kehn da matlab hai J koi aurat dubaara manukha janam ch aouna choundi h ,J ohdi ishha h ta j oh chahe ta oh pursh ban skdia ne

Means If one woman wants to reborn again as male human ,the her this wish can be granted by sukhmani sahib.

He didnt say that females are not human or only males are humans .please other members give your inputs as I really want to clear it!

  8. Veer ji, there might be a word in Sanskrit but what manukhi deh means to you?

I think manukhi deh = human body

So I think Men,Women,Trangenders, physically abnormal ones all are humans..

So dont twist any Gurbani TUk!

    Bhayii praapat manukh dehureya

Gobind milan ki eh teri baariya

Here Guru sahib clearly says to every human irrespective of any caste, creed, gender, religion or colour that you've got this human body and it's nothing other than a chance to meet your satpurkh/akal purkh/lord/almighty..

  9. It is most likely true. "Manukh" word is derived from Sanskrit and refers to a man, not a woman or a transgender. One of the words for a woman is "Ardhagani" (half of something). That is also a reason, she cannot be in Panj Pyaray. Gyani Thakur SIngh jee mentioned that in his katha.

    Bhul chuk maaf

Omg!! I'm laughin so hard! Lol

    Okay coming to the point..

    "Bhayi praapat manukh dehauriya

Gobind Milan kee eh teri bariyaa"

Means only men can meet Akal purkh?? Means women are here for a stage show??

You indirectly mean that women CAN NEVER Achieve union with supreme??

You remember when dasam patsahi's mehila asked them to leave her body via dasam dwaar.Don't you think that she had already achieved that union??

  10. You are starting to see the deep rooted hatred he has for women... no he was not joking...

And to answer your above. I am in a military career... where I have to lead.  If there were hard set rules saying I could not lead, then I couldn't do what I love doing best and that is serving my country.  Please don't think that all you are capable of is domestic chores and simple menial tasks.  A leader does not require to be a body builder with huge muscles.  You only need mental stamina, lead by example (don't be a tyrant) and do your part.  Its more difficult in a military setting for women, only because of the physical aspects in say the army (Im Navy) but that only means working harder.  Nobody should be told 'no' if they really want to do something.  btw I am only 5'2" tall and I successfully passed all my military training (basic training is army based) along with fire fighting with full gear, sea survival, etc.  So if I can do it... you can too. Take self defence courses, learn martial arts (which is encouraged for every Sikh) and you will fee less vulnerable and more capable to protect yourself.  Believe me it will be a huge positive thing for you!

Do you think Mai Bhago would have worried about what would happen if she was captured, or worried that she was female and wouldn't be able to defend herself?? Instead she learned how to fight... and was brave.  Do you think that a woman who became a personal body guard of Guru Ji, would need to hold the palla of a man to signify that she was weak and needed protecting???

And Holding the palla has nothing to do with women being weak incapable and men having to protect them.  Think about it... who are the ones that your husband would be protecting you against??? in 99% of times it would be other men!  The answer doesnt lie in putting women into protective boxes with men protecting them and keeping women from all the leadership roles (and hence any say in society, home, etc) instead the answer lies in educating boys not to hurt anyone (including women) at all.  Then there is no need for protection...

Women Prominent leaders in History in both political, leadership, and even spiritual leadership roles:
    http://www.biographyonline.net/people/women-who-changed-world.html

sounds good! I really admire you for your strength and mental attitude.A big Bravo for that!

But I feel spiritual strength is my basic requirement at the moment. And  the busy time schedule nd poor health issues doesnt allow this these days.Hope if Maharaj himself arranges something like that in future.

All happens in his command.Lets see what he plans next!

Preacher, Guru, Leader do not have to male.  There are plenty of really good examples of females leading in HIGH prominent positions...

Sorry I can't answer or share my views for above.I just know Gurus were Males and there should have been a reason behind that..I respect that! Hope to understand it with Maharaj's kirpa!!

  11. But then I arrived at this forum where I first encountered 'Singhs' telling me I can't do certain seva (for no other reason than my gender) that the Sikh Rehet Maryada is wrong for giving women same rights as Sikh men, suggesting that Sikh wives deserve less respect from their husbands than their husbands deserve from them (Paapiman) and that a good Sikh woman will 'bow' to her husband because she acknowledges this higher place and status he has over her (again paapiman) that women are supposed to be 'HOMELY' and submissive / subordinate to men's authority (Raagmala), and now even suggesting that the Gurus were only all males because the female gender is inherently inferior (Chatangi1).Also suggestions that the only physial trait which matters about the Panj Pyaras is that  they were male, thus suggesting that gender is the most important feature about humans above all else, and even more reinforcing the idea that being male makes you somehow superior (Again Chatanga1), then we have the statement that it's 'Indic custom' to put women beneath men into a lesser and subordinate role and he likes having women in that role beneath him so much that he gets angry if someone 'pokes their nose' in this good thing he has going (Jaikara).  And other threads stating that women are 'impure' spiritually because they were given (a curse by Waheguru?) Menstruation.  Women are weaker, dumber, more lustful, etc than men (Paapiman).  Women should not be consulted on decisions (Paapiman).

*oops* Okay! No Things are not like this in Sikhism! I'm sure other members too dont think so.I think it's just a misunderstanding. and about husband -wife relations ,I think you should  read english translation of Anand karaj for that..

And A Wife must respect her husband for obvious reasons and a husband must also do so.And a good wife and husband will never deny to do so.

And penji though women have started working/learning martial skills or things like that, but still some women are not able to face some situations alone.I mean Take example of myself.I'm not physically strong enough.Lol!

So I think it's just a great ritual to hold husband's palla as husband is promising his wife to take care of her in all possible situations.Though we are holding Guru Sahib's palla to carry us across this world ocean, but still we are living in a society,we are living in a physical world. So there husband is promising(as he is gifted with all physical traits from almighty),so I think it's a beautiful act.Isn't it??

So ,Respecting Husband doesnt signify inferiority or superiority. It just simply signifies respect /true respect for being her security man.And Respecting Wife signifies respect for all her contributions. So same goes on both sides.

And All Guru were males not because females are inferior. It's because some situations/some conditions /some reasons do not support a female being a preacher, being a Guru,Being a leader. You know some things are out of our approach/our understanding. So,I think it's okay for women to do Naam kamai/to be bhagats/to lead life of a sant/but what we called Guruship means taking command of something in own's hand has not seen in past so far.Imagine Guru Teg bahadur Ji were there to give his head when needed. He simply agreed to accept the punishment.Imagine(stopping my filthy tongue inside),If there was a female Guru and then ???????..anything could happen!Dhan Guru Sahib Baksh lo!

And It has been already discussed about women's purity.Guru Nanak Dev Ji maharaj has cleared everything. So Nothing like this in sikhism.

  12. Dhan Guru Maharaj!!

I experienced something so thought to write here. But Dhan Guru sahib's kautak ,that SaT veer Ji,already described similiar case with my experience.I think I can write here as No one knows me personally or who I am.So Hope it will not affect me.

Few days back,I got chance to go to a Gurmat divan after very very very long time.Few months Prior to that day,I had a dream where I saw an illuminated parkash of Guru Granth sahib ji in a very big diwan and there was a picture of Guru Nanak Dev Ji maharaj nearby Guru sahib's parakash. It was similar one as there is at Nanaksar. And With Guru sahib's blessings I got a chance to go to a Gurmat Divan.

That night when I was at samagam, when Kirtan was being sung,I felt a unique energy in my body.It was like I wanted to close my eyes forever. Some thing was directing me to keep my eyes closed. Then I felt as my forehead was shivering.I dont know the exact word to call this shivering. My forehead, eyes and area between eye brows started shrinking. It was like a contraction.A very intense force was doing so.It was like my forehead was going to contract. That contraction was creating a unique movement .Then That contraction increased and started to flow in my entire body.It came downwards and I could feel it upto my arms.I felt Simran started happening of its own.I was doing simran of WAH  HE GURU quite well of my own.MY body was so different. It was like something moved thru my nerves, even thru each cell of neves. It was a very blissful thing. But I was aware of everything.I didnt lose my consciousness.I was also enjoying tunes of kirtan at the same time. But was also enjoying that waheguru recitation.I was saying in mInd yes! Yes!! Go further! Go further! But when I felt it upto my arms,it stopped. After that it didnt progress. But I did nt open my eyes. But contractions were still there but very weak then.I prayed to Guru Sahib to make that happen, but thoughts in my mind increased than earlier and Then I just failed! After that I again felt little contractions but nothing beyond that.Though that happened for very very few minutes, but that feeling was very pleasurable. It's like yes !! This is it!

From that day,I start feeling weak contractions on closing eyes, but nothing beyond that due to lack of mediation.due to time managements and wrong thoughts of mind.

So Now I realise why Guru sahib Instruct us to do more amd more Jaap as possible. If I had done enough Jaap or mediation then probably different thoughts were not there and I could progress further...And I have not taken Amrit yet, thats why I think I can NOT make any progress. So Now Need for Amrit has increased even than earlier!!!

  13. I was so confused (even little bit still now) on this concept of panch shabad. With Maharaj's kirpa I just found this. It's a short story about Gurmukh pyaarey Bhai Randhir Singh and we can learn ,we can make our doubts clear.

Dhan Guru sahib! Dhan Guru sahib's Sikhi!!

Radhasoamis and Yogis claim that the Anhad Shabad are 5 in number and they use Gurbani Shabads containing "Panch Shabad" to prove their point that there are 5 kinds of Anhad Shabad. The word "Panch" also means superior or great. "Panch Shabad" actually means superior or celestial Shabads that Gurmukhs hear when their Dasam Duaar opens up. Below is a very interesting story from Bhai Sahib's life, and that sheds a great deal on Anhad Shabads. This Saakhi has been taken from Bhai Sahib's book "Anhad Shabad Dasam Duaar". It's not a direct translation.

Once a gursikh came to Bhai Sahib and started talking about Anhad Shabad. He said that he could now clearly hear the bell ring, sometimes the roaring of clouds and even a flute. He wanted to confirm his spiritual state with Bhai Sahib. Bhai Sahib in response to his question said that he did not hear any of these voices and sounds i.e. instrumental sounds. At this he got greatly disheartened.

Bhai Sahib asked him what exactly he was doing while doing abhyaas. He said that he had a black dot on the wall for dhyaan (concentration) and he does one Siri Sukhmani Sahib paath looking at the dot. Then he kept his mind quiet and tried to listen to the five kinds of celestial sounds (as written by Yogis and Radhasoamis). After a while he started hearing faint sounds of ringing bells, waterfall, flute etc. The black dot too illuminated and this really motivated him and he started thinking that he was listening to Anhad Shabad.

Bhai Sahib did not doubt what he was telling because Bhai Sahib knew that this person was telling the truth. Bhai Sahib told him that they would discuss this again the next day. That day at night Bhai Sahib sat in Smadhi and tried to hear the five sounds this person was mentioning. He could not hear anything other than Gurmat Anhad Shabad (Sifat Salaah that occurs in Sachkhand). From this high spiritual state, Bhai Sahib brought down his surtee to a much lower level and he was surprised to hear that all five sounds that the Gursikh had mentioned could be heard at different levels. Bhai Sahib has written that there was not even 1/millionth anand or bliss in these instrumental sounds as compared to the Gurmat Anhad Shabad. Bhai Sahib had never delved in these mystical realms since they were at a much lower level as compared to Gurmat Dasam Duar.

Bhai Sahib came out of smadhi and immediately went to that gursikh who had asked this question from Bhai Sahib and told him that he was totally engaged in wrong anti-Gurmat practices. Bhai Sahib narrated to him about his experience and told him that little bit of concentration that he had was a result of Siri Sukhmani Sahib paath and he started hearing those instrumental sounds. Bhai Sahib said that these spiritual realms were lower than the lofty spiritual realms of Gurmat. Bhai Sahib told him that Gurmat Anhad Shabad is way superior to the 5 so called Anhad Shabads.

From this saakhi of Bhai Sahib we learn that these five shabads that Radhasoamis talk about do exist but they are not attained by the way they work in it. Actually these five shabads are the invention or discovery of Yogis and RS has just adopted their theory. Gurmat does not believe in limited 5 shabads. Panch Shabad in Gurbani does not mean 5 Shabad but Panch means superior or greatest shabads. Gurmat believes in “Vajae Shabad Ghanaray” i.e. countless shabads and not only 5.

Bhul Chuk dee Maafi jee. The above is based on Bhai Sahib's book - Anhad Shabad Dasam Duaar.

  14. I 'm too talking from my personal experience. In beginning,I used to cry a lotttt.I dont know why it happens but it really happens of its own. Now,when I'm in divan or in sangat, then I somehow control myself. But when I'm doing simran alone at home, then sometime it goes too much.I cannot tell that how much I cry.

So what really makes me cry??

Well,I dunno much,as it happens of its own,but main things that come in my mind is my ignorance towards akal purkh.Real inner images comes right before my eyes. What I really am!! The Biggest Manmukh ever!! That days I've wasted without any naam kamai or without remembering akal purkh. Then,Mind speaks what I've earned?? Nothing yet! All pains or sorrows which are part of my life in any form are only because I'm seperated from supreme.Mind says that sukh/pleasure/bliss you are in search of, is only and only in meeting with supreme. Then Why are you crying? You're going to cry for your whole life,if you dont get a chance. Then Mind says No I've nothing for what I can be rewarded. Then crying becomes even more. The main reason is The thought of being skeptic.Mind says will I be saved? Will I  get a chance??

At same other time, mind says you're under guidance of SGGSJ ,at home of Guru Nanak Maharaj. Then mind says that day will certainly come.So that feeling (whether it's for few min) as If I've achieved that stage of union, asks mind to cry/shout as loud as possible in joy ,asks to say WAH!! Soul wants to experience this divine bliss, but when looks at herself, reminds that she is still alone, she is not with her purkh, then again starts crying.......But believe me after few days when you remember you were crying that you realise how tasteful was that!there is a bliss ,a unique taste in crying. And you want to cry again some other day,but that happens only when you're really realising your inner self..

  15. Millions of people live in coastal area where they Eat fish , sea ponds and river are their farms. they have been doing  it for thousand of years. This is the way god created this earth.Punjab like fertile land is not much in world.God must have committed this big mistake by not creating fertile land everywhere

This is the point.I think  yes these people are helpless ,but why these chosen people are helpless?? Because these are the souls who have no chance of meeting with supreme in their destiny. As Gurbani says only people of great good fortune who are already blessed by almighty, get a chance to have this meeting. So my view is we should not compare ourselves with them. They may be good people, they may have very close relations with divine ,but still what we call Ultimate achievement,(jot ch jot milna) ,cannot be achieved by such souls, who are killing creatures day and night.

So,I think if we have fertile land,we have enough meal alternatives ,then why to be murderers? I think this is the reason the most of saints /avatars were born in India, and principles of Our spiritual ideology is to never kill/eat animals.

So we are the souls,I would say special souls, under the guidance of SGGSJ and we should think about it rather than to compare with others like what they do/eat etc.

    So bottom line is

"IF ONE WANTS TO DO BHAKTI,WANT TO ACHIEVE  THE ULTIMATE BLISS,WANT TO BE ONE WITH DIVINE,THEY HE GOTTA LEARN TO SEE DIVINE IN EVERYTHING ELSE,SO SHOULD NEVER EVEN THINK TO KILL A LIFE !

ONLY THAT PERSON HAS RIGHT TO TAKE LIFE,WHO CAN GIVE LIFE TO SOMEONE.SO,I think an ordinary man CANNOT do so.

So stop making excuses like plants have life too,we can kill in our own way or what if we cannot eat other things.Maharaj always helps a person/his sikh in whatever circumstance he is.
