I"ve not read the entire posts in this thread.But paapimann veerji ,In the way u prove certain things just make me laugh.hahaa.Surely even Maharaj will accept ur naive nature.I like it!!

Well I think yes we shouldnt think to perdict our future.But it doesnt mean that astrology is wrong.Like a member said point is that astrologer must be right one.Like a wrong one can misguide you.

So my advice is that there are some softwares which provide free online predictions.You can just enjoy ur reading.But it's only gonna make u laugh.

Hope it saves ur money,time and any kind of misguidline.

Sangat Ji, What is the spiritual significance of Eid?? As I've heard very spiritual sufi islamic saints used to do fasting ,ROZa and then to break the fast on the day of eid , offering prayers to allah and new moon on day of Eid is very much highlighted.Is there any proper reason that defines spiritual value behind it ?

I've never done loud verbal jaap for much time.Even I can't.I'm little bit suspicious about it whether it's right or wrong.Few months back,I was like I gotta do jap for entire day.I used to get up at 2 in morning then could do jaap till 5.I couldn't find how I spent these hours.Sometime only listening to kirtan drives me into state into meditation and sooner shabads of kirtan becomes inaudible.But Sometime I can't even sit properly to continue my jaap.In this case ,irritation starts bothering.sometime,when It's off day then can spend my entire afternoon just sitting in remembrance of god.The maximum time I've chanted for is perhaps 3 hours.

Anyways these days I'm struggling to be on the track again.Some useless worldy affairs like studies,exams start distracting.So hope if it happens again.I'm sure other member's posts gonna help me a lot.

but I think time doesnt matter.It all happens by grace of akal purkh.When his mehar vision blesses then it can happen within seconds otherwise meditation of several hours,years or even yugs can't be fruitful.

So all depends upon love towards sachepatsah.when love awakens,then can sit for several hours but at other time when love towards worldy affairs start rising then can't sit even for a second.

I think it's a great idea.But the distance that's between the sangat makes it little bit difficult.

I think if we can use this forum as our attendance sheet ,then it may be a better option.I think we can fix days ,then we can fix the time like 2am to 4 am(acc to our own locations),then we can do simran ourselves.Then we can put our entry here like yes I did it.I had these queries.These questions were there.I experienced this or that.I faced these difficulities.How I spent these very hours.So I think then we can have a very significant discussion.In this way ,we will be much oriented towards our goal.This will create a very inspirational environment.Little bit competitive too.Means we will feel like I gotta do this .

We can fix schedule and further plans.

Yes exactly this is the same I'm going through these days.If one's heart beat and pulse rate increases ,then it's quite difficult to do saas graas.So,I think it's somewhere beneficial too.In this case,we can better do jaap in mind. 

If there are any ways to continue verbal jaap in such situations,then it would be a pleasure to hear from sangat.

Satkirin Bhenji is right at many points.Now,I can imagine how ISIS convince people to join them and keep doing their most sinful acts.NO doubt Islam is a religion of spirituality,but the fanatic root that's just spreading hatred and violence amongst people is totally ridiculous.The massacres of sikhs at the time of Guru Ji is totally unforgettable.Anyhow,that's why Guru Ji has warned us to concentrate on naam .We never know when the things get worse and we lose our precious chance.

Veer Ji,In my view you should go to university. As you are stating it's one of the top universities,so it will greatly effect your grade of studies .The things one gets to learn in a campus ,sometime it's missing in local colleges.And when you will stay out of home,the distant relationship that builds up between family is sometime more beautiful than actual one.There will be more realization of responsibilities in both father and son.Your father may come up with new colours of responsibilities which can def effect his habit of drinking.All matters THE COURSE.Choose whether campus gonna effect your course.Talking about Rehat,then do an ardaas to waheguru Ji.We have to learn how to deal our social life with spiritual one.In future ,when you will do distant job in any MNC or in any department where you get to stay away from home,then these things will bother you a lot.So just believe yourself and do an ardass in front of SGGSJ.and you can still stay in touch with your family even staying in a hostel via phone ,video calls etc.

In my opinion,(as much experience I've in my life till now) is that there is NOTHING in man's hand.Man can never do anything by its own.

All the story of life seems to be started from birth or we think it's gonna end after birth..No!!!.Nature doesnt judge us by only our present time.It's a very long story ,story of many yugs,that we 've been wandering here and doing are karams which are instructed by nature to us.Nature judges whether a person has to be in hands of kaal or in hands of waheguru.Then think who does good karams or who does bad karams??he is not doing so,nature is instructing him to do so.If we say one conducts many mistakes or sins then who is responsible?? I think def person is not responsible ,but he will be counted responsible.This is the TERRIFIC MAYA,trap of kaal.Actually he is having his punishment.Punishment by NATURE.This is such a painful punishment...Nature (here in form of kaal) itself  forces him into bad deeds,then create his bad karams ,then these same karams provide him further punishment.that's why it's said One Karam leads to other karam and so on.

If NATURE blesses one with a true  guru ,then we say he is a wise one or he is walking on the path of almighty.

JUDGEMENT of NAture is very sound.IT takes every section(birth) into count to give a specific exam(present life) to a person then itself Solves his exam then gives results by name of his.so It's a VERY COMPLICATED story.ONLY a BRAHMGYANI can understand it.IT's something UNSPOKEN!!IT can't described in words.Only some beloved souls understand this by grace of sachepatsah.

That's why gurbani says BIN BHAAGA SATSANG NAA LABEY BIN SANGAT MAEYL PARIJEY JIYO

​Plenty of people are at a very low spiritual level. If one includes non-amritdharis as part of panth, then the situation is pretty dismal. The root of Sikhi (kesh) is being uprooted by so many people. These people seem to have no fear of God. If one thinks that he/she is not prepared to take amrit, then at least keep kesh, which is the bare minimum sign of a Sikh.

Therefore, on the whole in this age, fear factor is very important to move people towards s spirituality.

Sorry veer ji,but there is something wrong with your thoughts.Who are we to convince people to do this or that???

No!!! If who is going to do kamai in their lives are already blessed by almighty.

It's not in our hands to love god or to say other ppl to do so..All happens by his grace.If you are walking on path of khalsa then it's  cause of ur previous kamai and by guru's blessings.If one is not doing so,then it's his karmas.All we can do is to trigger our own bhagti so that it effects ppl around us.That's called Saadhsangat in a sense.Even a Brahmgyani NEVER does what are you talking about...All can work is the mehar of dhrishti of Any great mahapurkh  and love is the root of this entire concept..

What is your basis of this  entire thought??,which Gurbani tukk convinced you?? Even Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj never asked to do so.

Probably I took wrong meaning.But To have fear is right,but fear should be "NIRMAL BHAU" but to,promote fear forcefully among people towards spirituality is not right.There should be fear of god,fear of bad karams,but to have  fear of particular sects like they will punish as SATKAR COMMITEE use to do is definitely not right!!

My closing statements:

First of all,it's TOTALLY wrong to talk to a Gyani/Gurmukh in the manner they did.To start shouting or yelling in A GURUDWARA in  the presence of SGGSJ is a total manmatt.

Second,To call cops (who were not sikhs even I dun think if they knew much about sikhi) is not a task of grace.

And whoever gave death threats must be punished by panj pyare there with consent of Gurudwara commitee and gyani ji.

And Yes it's their Respect for SGGSJ that they are giving so much importance to hygiene.And it's respect of opposite group too that they want to follow teachings of gurbani and Guru Nanak Dev Ji maharaj.so my conclusion is One should always give his/her full efforts to maintain proper hygiene /cleanliness for doing any kind of seva.It's applicabe for both genders.Not only WOMEN should be counted.Talking about menstruation(keeping guru nanak dev ji's teachings in mind),if a bibi doesnt feel well or she is feeling that she cant keep the hygiene upto the level it's needed,then she must abstain from doing seva.On same time,if she is quite well in maintainig proper hygiene with help of advanced products and she is not feeling as bad that can trouble her for maintaing hygiene,then she can do seva.If it's about sitting on maharaj tabeya,then she may carry her own sheet with proper thickness to guarantee proper cleanliness and I think it would show her utmost respect.

Another one,I think one should NEVER look upon anyone by his/her physical appearance.Being an amritdhari doesnt prove his superiority over others in sikh society.Everyone can meet Guru sahib.Guru sahib loves anyone by the beauty of his soul. No one is born amritdhari!!! There is a definite time for everyone to take amrit in their  lives.Very good karmas are needed for it.and we are not Brahmgyanis that we recognize anyone's spiritual beauty just from his face.So,NEVER UNDERMINE ANYONE!!So,if a person is non amritdhari then it doesnt prove his /her spiritual ignorance.and if a peraon is amritdhari then it does nt mean he is surely a spiritual person.JINNA NANAK GURMUKH "HIRDA SHUDHH" HAI  , HAR BHAGAT HAR LIJEY..

As doors of sache patsah are open for everyone,then let it open with due respect.HINDU TURK KOU KOI RAAFJI IMAAM SAAFI MANAS KEE JAAT SBAEY EKAY PEHCHANBO || KARTA KRIM SOI RAJAK RAHIM OHI DUSRO NAA BHED KOI BHOOL BHRAMM MANBO||

And a SIKH must learn to cope up with mona's ,roda's or patit's in a very understandable manner.and A SIKH must always try to listen a non sikh ,and should give his best to propagate the teachings of Guru Nanak Patsah and he should come out as an example for such people.

To merge with sachepatsah must be the ultimate goal of a sikh rather than to take sikhi in worldly terms or to make it a KATTARPANTHI religion.

And the last one but very important is ONE SIKH SHOULDNT TRY TO PUT OTHER SIKH DOWN ,this will lead him to false ego and ultimately from his true goal.

Same questions were in my mind.yes what about fecal matter in rectum?? What about all chyme in stomach?? What about urine in urinary bladder??? Then that's too dirty associated with body..and same body is just close to Guru maharaj while doing paath.so shall we start doing dhotii asaan(dunno exact word) ,which rishiis used to do to clean their bowels before meditation???

Yes I agree by it.Will try to talk to my teacher more on this matter.But yes harmonal changes can have adverse effects .Though with leading tech in medicine,it can be minimal,but that will not be suggested if there is any planning for pregnancy in future.

Guru Sahib while leaving his body,asked sikhs to talk to SGGS everytime in need..So whenever one has lost his way and then he gotta take instructions from Guru sahib.

So I think Gurbani says NOT to look down upon anyone in any manner. Gurbani clearly states that any person who has love in his heart or spiritually enlightened person can meet Guru sahib at any time.To meet Guru sahib means He will def take Khande da amrit.but it doesnt mean that the person before having amrit was totally worthless.It was the worth of his kamai due to which he could take amrit...So I think that never look upon anyone by his physical appearance ...Gur fateh!!

To take khande da amrit is just like to step into boat which is going to sachkhand,but the point is one has to sail his own boat.But the people(non amritdhari) who are doing all paath,have high high sharda towards Guru sahib,have true love,live by gurbani are ones who just need to have their boat.But It doesnt mean that they gonna sink..No!! You never know when  Guru Sahib himself comes and himself sail their boats.or they take khande da amrit and take their boats,Means They can be Real amritdharis in upcoming time.

All is dependent upon sailing boats which is through spiritual kamai ,real progress.So to look down upon them is NOT right...
