  1. Read the above post carefully. You will find your answer.

As taking this scenario, the woman No one knows her personally ,no one knows about her spiritual life ,no one knows whether she has appropriate knowledge about Gurbani or not,nor she is in any western dress ,nor she conducted any shamless act, seems to be a non amritdhari sikh, then why to comment "she can't give her views" ???

This is not real sikhi.Guys such things/thoughts are somewhere contradicting the real definition of sikhi...

    Sorry!! Doesn't sound well!!

  2. A mona/moni can have their views and they have full freedom to express them, but not in a Gurudwara. They should not interfere in Gurmat matters.

What will we do, if non-Sikhs start expressing their views in Gurudwaras? After all, the doors of Satguru jee are open to all.

    Bhul chuk maaf

I'm sorry veer ji but You are too controversial  with your mind.At same time you are saying that doors of satguru jee are open for everyone and at same time your saying that a non amritdhari sikh is not allowed to discuss GURBANI.That doesnt sound well . All matters is his /her knowledge to Gurbani, love for Guru Ji,his spiritual vichaars, (def not written on one's face or cannot be determined from physical appearance)and then such things come but in different aspect.

  3. Certain rules (Rehat Maryada) are made in the Panth to help jagayasus/beginners to progress in their spiritual journeys. We cannot ignore these rules. They are very very important. Can you imagine a country without laws? It would be chaos. Rehat Maryada creates fear in the minds of people, which gradually turns into love.

We cannot use sakhis in our history to change the Rehat Maryada. Examples:
Satguru jee did kirpa on Nabi Khan and Gani Khan. Most likely, they were halal meat eaters. Does that mean, we should start eating halal meat or start serving halal meat in langar?

Most likely, Maharaaj must have done kirpa on naked sadhus too. Does that mean, we should start going naked to Gurudwaras?

Tenth master did kirpa on a Brahmin, who had immense love for Satguru jee. Does that mean, we should start following Brahmin rites and rituals?

Tenth master also once ate food with jhotay hands from a premi. Does that mean, we should stop washing our hands before eating?

Leave the love factor for God to decide. We must keep following maryada, without questioning it. Once a person reaches Brahamgyan, the situation changes.

That's what I m saying. You too gave the answer. As you mentioned how a patit, meat eating man, mona ,roda person can be a beloved soul of sachepatsah, then it's worthless to account such things into frame.why to say that one is a mona so can't give his/her views.
It's all his grace.A Kattar Sikh (by rehat etc,not spiritual grace) can lose his chance of meeting waheguru due to his false ego, while any mona or patit can have it if his spiritual vichaars are high...
    It's simple!! Clear!!

  4. I think they didnt call police. And yes they were very very wrong in the way they talked to baba ji.But the point is Guru Nanak patsah has cleared everything in his shabads..What about it??,what about Gurbani??. This is just my question not only to you or sangat ,infact it's to my own mind too.

Yes it's really something dirty but to dont let the environment dirty by it is too possible.and when talking about seva, spirituality or bhagti then it's a matter of soul not body..Why to put sooooo much importance to body than soul???? This thing is really controversial ,controversial with gurbani!!

  5. To claim some things right which are no where mentioned in Gurbani and are even proved wrong is just a simple example of human ignorance or so called man made rules. To say no one can eat meat by giving man made reasons , by saying no women are not allowed to do seva during menstruation , or saying women can never be equal to men or saying a mona ,roda or patit can NEVER meet guru sahin or to say to take amrit is just the beginning and the end or to say non amritdhari can never be loved by Guru sahib or to say this particular jathebandi/sect is not  group of guru's sons are ALL man made rules....GURBANI is definitely not this!!!!!!!

  6. You are talking about a very high avastha. Loving Satguru jee is not easy.

    ਜਉ ਤਉ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਖੇਲਣ ਕਾ ਚਾਉ ॥

If you desire to play this game of love with Me,

    ਸਿਰੁ ਧਰਿ ਤਲੀ ਗਲੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਆਉ ॥

then step onto My Path with your head in hand.

It is very easy for a person like me, to talk like a Brahamgyani, but very hard to walk the talk.

    Bhul chuk maaf

    Very next lines:

ITT MAARG PAIYR THAREEJEY(when one places his feet on this path)

SIRR DHEEJEY KAN NA KEEJEY(then he gives his head, and do not pay  attention to "PUBLIC OPINION"..

Here public opinion may include all MAN MADE RULES and superstitions.

    Gur fateh!!

  7. Women can only maintain a certain amount of hygiene during periods, which is not enough to do seva of Satguru jee. They cannot control the bleeding.

A shardawaan/soojwaan woman will never do seva of Satguru jee when she has her periods.

    Bhul chuk maaf.

Please give me a quote from Gurbani where it is mentioned..and yes you may be right...But if love in her heart is true towards Satguru ji,then surely waheguru ji will himself allow her to do seva irrespective of her day of menstural cycle.

  8.

In addition to the above, sources causing sweat must be minimized when a paathi is doing paath. Paathis must maintain a strict diet, in order to mitigate washroom use.

    Bhul chuk maaf.

Yes These things are dirty. But Hygiene is too a thing.Hygienic measures also matter. As man going to do paath after washing body or doing his attempts is same as woman goes to do paath after carrying some particular hygienic measures.and the above of all are the shabads of Guru Nanak Dev Ji,they cleared all such doubts.I personally too get such doubts in mind, but Person who is still questioning after reading Gurbani is really not a true follower.

  9. Islam is a beautiful religion and great mahapurakhs have emerged from Muslims.

I respect Islam for their spiritual values. But the points due to which Guru Nanak DEv ji came to start a new religion sikhism and quoted Islam in SGGS are definitely not what I follow. The main of them are Meat eating, killing animals, taking women as sign of Impurity or giving low stature to women over men.The great muslims, peer or fakir, mahapurkhs you are talking about were definitely not muslims of fanaticism.Guru Nanak patsah has answered EVERYTHING...I think that's quite enough for a Sikh to satisfy with.

  10. Women become apavitar during periods, just like all humans become apavitar after excreting/urinating/sweating, etc.

    Bhul Chuk Maaf.

I once posted on this matter of women.I tried a lot,but couldnt find the post.

But I think You are pretty much known to the shabads given by Guru Nanak patsah in Asa dee vaar on Women.Dont you follow the teachings of Guru Nanak dev ji??

    Are you questioning him???

Tell me where it's written that women are not pure during mensturation? All depends upon the hygienic measures carried by women during these days..

And secondly if a man is doing paath then then whilst doing paath,he starts sweating ,then does iy mean that he has become Impure?? Or should he stop continuing??

  11. First of all, what ever happened in a GURUDWARA,in presence of satguru Ji is totally INSANE..

In The way the people came and starting asking questions in aggresive tone was not right.

secondly the issue they raised was totally right. The sentence WOMEN ARE APPAVITAR is totally wrong.

I dont believe in any man made rules. All to follow is GURBANI- voice of NIrankaar.I can quote many and many shabads which deny yhis statement. This is Islamic concept.Guru Nanak patsah cleared everything.

and when we are talking about hygiene that is a complete different issue.Concept of hygiene implies on everybody irrespective of one's sex.

What I think when one is trying his/her best to maintain physical hygiene then it's no longer an issue with one's spirituality.

Secondly when they talked about issue of piles ,I got very disappointed at that point. If one is suffering from a disease ,then who is responsible for his sickness?? Of course he not!!! So why to apply restrictions on one's spiritual life.Bhai Randhir singh suffered from Piles(correct me if Im wrong),then shouldnt he stop doing pathh or his bhagti?? I dont think so!!

As some members are saying that if one is patit or mona or so called eye brow shaver then what?? All matters is his/her spiritual life. The kamai he is doing. The love he has in his heart. The prem.No ego!!!

So I think Women are pure if their hearts arr pure and they know how to maintain physical hygiene.

    Come on guys!!!

    Leave the islamic approach!!

    We are sikhs, not MUSLIMS!!

  12. Yes veer Ji, you are exactly right!! We are no ones to love God,Even we can't! It's Guru sahib himself who allows us/bless us to have  love in heart.Yes ,it's not under our control. We own do not believe that Are We doing this?? How is this happening?? It's totally out of control. It's like we are just like puppets, and then we say that we are lost somewhere.

AAP DHAYA KAR DEV SI GURMUKH AMRIT CHOYE

And Guru sahib himself Saves their BELOVED ones and makes the entire mystery understandable.

TERA BHANA TU HAI MANAYE JIS NO HOYE DHAYALA

But,One thing that bothers is the DOUBT..DOUBT ON OURSELVES.DOUBT ON OUR LOVE.MInD does not believe on such great fortune. It always says NO!! This is not kirpa or so called love/devotion.How can we be sooo fortunate to have his daya. Then doubt arises. And then it starts questioning and worldly matters start attracting. And then bottom line comes,He HIMSELF ARRANGES EVERYTHInG.

    It's really something unspoken!!

Really " JA TU MERE VAL HAI TA KYA MUHCHANDA,TUD SAB KICH MAINU SAUNPYA JA TERA BANDA"

    Waheguru!!

  13. To have love for god is right, but then is it called excess when everything else seems to be useless. At this point, mind gets worried.Everything including friends, family, study, classes, career, even own health, own body become out of interest.Mind does not want to talk to anyone. It always keeps lost somewhere. All world matters become no longer point of interest.People start calling introward, insane .So is it right??,If not, then why does this happen walking on the path of spirituality? Are these signs of depression? Is there any need for counselling of mind?? Why this parkh takes this much time? Shouldnt God stop examining his lovers??

So,Is it not right to have excess of love towards almighty?? Or

Does It mean that we are living with doubt or we dont love God in reality?

    Please share your views .
