  1. In my view,What I think as considering myself a person of very lowest awastha,is that number doesnt matter.Just talking about Jap Ji sahib Ji.You know what is the depth and meaning in Japji sahib???

    Doing more and more paaths in lowest time,is not that worthy for an ordinary man.Gurmukhs could and they did so,coz they had understood the real meaning of japji sahib.They had divine glimpse of each word of Japji sahib in their inner -selves.They have achieved the true meaning,true essence.Talking personally,I used to do this in my childhood to do nitnem in 1 hour.It was due to lack of time ,to go to school.But what we have understood in fast recitation of gurbani??

    Have we understood or felt the true meaning,true message yet.You know Jap ji sahib gurbani is just of 39 pauris ,and you can do it in as lowest time as you want to.but The depth,vastness,the reality,incredibility of these 39,pauris is just measureless.If we do a single pauri again gain again in a single day ,then we can't understand the meaning.

    Why gurmukhs could do or do so??,cause they had achieved the truth

    They had done paath in their souls.Means they did true darshan of paathh in higher realms.They had seen each word and each line of jap ji sahib in their souls.They know the divine saroop of jap ji sahib.That's why time limit doesnt matter for them.Like it's said,one who reaches sachkhand,then he can go there anytime and can come back any time.Now the realms at intervals do not matter for them .It's like making of bridge over lower realms to do straight journey any time.same in this case. They have achieved the true essence.Now they dont need to discuss the meanings again and again in their minds.It's some thing unspoken.but we ordinary men can do so,but not in that sense.To get the true meaning and to do the pathh by soul is the true purpose.Like

    Take e.g. of tuk

    Na oh maareh naa thaage jaye

    Jin kai raam vasey mann maye

    These are the simple lines. But the vastness cant be described.

    Okay I've read the line in just 3 seconds.But that doesnt matter.If I want to UNDERSTAND, FEEL, EXPERIENCE, in just that 3 seconds then,its not worthy.

    When I'll achieve it,Then experiencing the meaning, a WAH will come out ,not just a wah that will be word of unspoken pleasure of soul.

    SO ,if we do a single pauri in whole day,in order to read the experience, the depth and start talking to divine while doing so,then its much worthy than reciting so many times the whole pathh without no real experiences.

    Gurmukhs did so,cause they had made a bridge.But we have not yet.so,what I'm doing these days(may be wrong),I get katha of bhai Maskeen ji of japji sahib in my lapi.katha of each pauri is app 40 min. So doing a each pauri each day,then talking to divine again again over these particular words is just a poor attempt but still not that worthy ..

    So In my suggestion,just close your eyes and start doing Jap ji sahib with waheguru Ji.Start reciting each word ,each letter with an aim of getting its true meaning ,talk to guru ji.Like your doing a conversation between ur soul and almighty. Forget about time limits.Forget about everything else! Forget about urself.Just your soul and waheguru ji in terms of words.Words of jap ji sahib.Then see whether you do 108 paaths in one day or just a One Paath in 108 days.

    If you have achieved the truth ,then go for you attempt.

    But the anand ,pleasure and real experience we get in discussing the paathh with supreme is much much fruitful than doing infinite prayers.

    Sanak Sanat ant nhi paya

    Bed parraeh parr brahmey janam gwaya

    (Sanak and Sanat ,sons of brahma coulnt find the lords limits

    Brahma wasted his life away continually reading the vedas)

  2. Penji, if the thoughts of debate are distubring your mind maye you are investing too much emotional energy into it. One way to avoid exhaustion is that present your point, and stand by it. If you have a counter-argument to present , present it otherwise stay relaxed.

    We have to know that if someone is not agreeing with us, its not our job to convinve them. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and understandings. I mean this in a positive way. There is no win-lose, its only a constructive discussion for your own benefit.

    I mean this is in a positive way.

    My closing thoughts are that if we are sincere enough in our aspirations , A brahmgyani will Himself come to us to solve our doubts or help us in some form. We do not have to define a Brahmgyani or find one.

    Baba Ishar Singh Ji used to say this line before Baba Nand Singh Ji met him: ਯਾਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਮਿਲਣਗੇ ਆਪੇ ਦਿਲ ਨੂ ਟਿਕਾਣੇ ਰਖੀੲੇ

    I'm just little disheartened at some points,which are doubts for me.Yes,only with grace of sache patsah, it happens itself.and Guru sahib will make a way out and will make everything clear.

I was just trying to have a little nap.And the whole discussion was coming again and again in my mind.I had prayed to sache patsah to clear my doubts.We were biasing again again over stature of a brahmgyani.Whether he is a human/greater than SGGSJ/or a high spiritual being.When I was just talking to myself,these lines of Gurbani just rang in my ears:

    BRAHMGYANI KO KHOJAEY MAHESHAR,

    NANAK BRAHMGYANI AAP PARMESHAR||

    I think it answers the question of title..

    Jhatka was meant to be used as a survival tactic. It was approved by Satguru jee for survival. Do you know, how bad the situation was for Sikhs in Punjab, after the shaheedi of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur? Sikhs had to live in jungles and they were being hunted/killed by tyrants? The situation was very very terrible for the panth, during that time. Not all Sikhs, at that time were Brahamgyanis. It is very easy to talk like a Brahamgyani, but very hard to walk the talk.     That's what I'm saying.It was at that time according to situation of time.But now situations are muCh much better.Tell me what is the purpose now???

  5. Having darshan of Satguru jee does not mean that the person has reached the stage of Gurmukh Brahamgyani (7th stage of brahmgyan)

    Would you please elaborate more about this stage..

    & okay,but what if one gets true Naam from sachepatsah himself.You know in entire SGGSJ,gurbani explains the greatness of true naam.To get true naam from true guru is the achievement of brahmgyan.That true Naam will def reach you to Sachkhand(beyond Brahm),so surely Brahgyan gets attained by the soul.

    Pleaseeee dont say our satguru ji used to do Jhatka(u mean killing animals).if he did so for once,then that was his kautakk.We never know why he did so.There might be a veryyyy biggg ,veryyy reasonable reason behind that.I'm not sure whether he did for once or not.but to kill animals in our usual life is definitely not what sache patsah would allow.I'm sureeeee he would be veryyy verrryy angry on our this act.No!!! This is totally rubbish for me. Sachepatsahh is giver of life..No!!! I dont believe so!!

  7. Bhai saab Bhai Randhir Singh jee was a spiritually very very high person, but he was not a Brahamgyani. A Brahamgyani will never doubt any word of Gurbani. Waheguru jee kaa KhalsaWaheguru jee kee fateh

    You know Bhai Sahib had partakhh darshan of Guru sahib.He was a true Gurmukh pyare.He got naam from Guru JI himself.So,If he doubt any gurbani,then there would be a reason.otherwise Guru sahib would never Give him darshan and The biggggggggeeeeessssttttttttt gift/thing "True Naam".
  8. Do you believe in Sri Raagmala Sahib jee?

    Personally speaking,I came to know about the issue of Raagmala sahib after joining this forum.

    So I think my budhi is of lowest awastha.I can't argue about it.So,I've no problem with it .But on same time,I pray to Guru patsah so that I dont conduct any mistake in any form.When Guru ji himself will stop me from reading Raagmala,then only I will do so.

  9. That is why I said earlier, hatred is different from truth. If one says Naamdharis should be killed/beaten/discriminated/made fun of/punished for their belief - that is hatred. Stating the fact - Naamdhari is a cult - Truth. Waheguru jee kaa KhalsaWaheguru jee kee Fateh

    To say who is a cult or not is out of my " under progression" mind.So,I can't put any comments.
