  1. ANG 31 ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਭਾਣੇ ਵਿਚਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਹੈ ਸਹਜੇ ਪਾਵੈ ਕੋਇ ॥ The Amrit, the Ambrosial Nectar, is in the Guru's Will. With intuitive ease, it is obtained. Bhul chuk maaf
  2. There are tuks in Gurbani, which can be used to reject a householder (Grahasti)'s lifestyle too. An Ascetic, who is free from all vikars, will also be accepted by Sri Satguru jee. Bhul chuk maaf
  3. It is completely imprudent to compare brother-sister relationship to marriage. Do you think that when a couple performs sexual act, with the aim to procreate, they will always succeed in the first attempt? At times, sexual intercourse will have to performed multiple times to get the wife pregnant. It is extremely unethical to compare such a physical/intimate relationship, to that of siblings. Bhul chuk maaf
  4. Sants and Babas follow Sri Satguru jee. Gurbani clearly instructs us to follow Gurmukhs, Saints, Babas, etc, and abandon our Manmat, as they are way closer to the Almighty God, as compared to normal humans like me. The above lines are from Sri Dasam Granth Sahib jee (Sri Charitropakhian Sahib jee). Do you believe in entire Sri Dasam Granth Shaib jee or not? Are you aware that many great Singhs/Shaheeds of our Panth were celibates? It is not mandatory in Sikhism to get married unlike Islam, where it is a must. Bhul chuk maaf
  5. Do you mean sacred sex? That is part of Hinduism (Tantrik Vidya). Bhul chuk maaf
  6. To have kids. How will have a brother and sister have kids? Bhul chuk maaf
  7. ANG 318 ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਹੈ ਮਿਲਿ ਪੀਵਹੁ ਭਾਈ ॥ The nectar is the treasure of God's Name. Meet together and quaff it, O my brethren. Bhul chuk maaf
  8. Thanks bro for the reference. If Daas finds the audio reference by Gyani Inderjit Singh jee Raqbewale, will posit it. Spiritually hollow people (Daas belongs to this category too) will find it difficult, imagining a happy married life, without any sexual activities for pleasure. Bhul chuk maaf
  9. You already have had sex with her, how can she become your sister? Why are you asking such a silly question? If you really love your wife, then pray for her. Do a sehaj paath for her. Do malas of mool mantar for her. Do ardas for her. This is Gurmat. Bhul chuk maaf
  10. Guest jee - ਹਰਿ is neither pronounced as Har, nor as Hari. It is pronounced as ਹਰੇ, but with slight pronunciation of the laan. The Sihari is a lagu matra. Some people pronounce it as Har, as they believe that the Sihari is silent. There is no doubt that pronouncing it as Hari or Haree is completely wrong. It is similar for ਮੂਰਤਿ. Please listen to Bhagat jee, who has one of the best (if not the best) Gurbani ucharan in the world. Listen to how he pronounces ਮੂਰਤਿ. http://www.gursevak.com/readsggs Bhul chuk maaf
  11. Are you alluding to Charitar 21 or the below verses? Quote sudh jab te ham dhari, bacan gur dae hamare, put ihe pran tone praan jab lag ghat thare, nij nari ke sath neh tum nit bodhaio par nari ki sej bhul supne hu na jayo Unquote [1] [1] - http://www.patshahi10.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=393:the-history-and-compilation-of-the-dasm-granth-part-4&catid=34:english&Itemid=63 Bhul chuk maaf
  12. Are you talking about the tuk from the Charitars? Bro, there are dozens of tuks in Gurbani which talk about Kaam. Kaam is derived from the word "Kamna", which means desire. It does not indicate excessive desire. Having any desire (including sexual) in mind, is a sin. Some will be classified as big ones, some medium and some minute. Most couples will have to become a victim of lust, before they indulge in any sexual activity for pleasure. One can argue, lust might be needed for procreation too, but there is a difference, as the goal in mind, is not the same. Uncontrollable/excessive desire is refereed to as "Tarishna" in Gurbani, which is a bigger sin. Bhul chuk maaf
  13. For educational purposes. What do you think? One could know everything about sex and still never perform the act. Bhul chuk maaf
  14. Katha. Daas is almost certain that it is from the katha of Gyani Inderjit Singh jee Raqbewale, who is one of the greatest scholars of the Panth. Bhul chuk maaf
The angelic beings and the silent sages search for the Ambrosial Nectar; this Amrit is obtained from the Guru. Bhul chuk maaf

  17. Bro, don't they consider Baba Ram Rai jee as a Satguru? Bhul chuk maaf
  18. Bro, do you want to start a series on Sri Charitropakhian Sahib jee? Gurparsaad, we can try to discuss the charitars one by one. Hopefully, other members can contribute to it. IMHO, charitars can be understood, independent of the uthanka and the context too. Additionally, they have deeper meanings (anthriv arths) too. Bhul chuk maaf
I always place my hopes in You; O God, when will you take me in Your Embrace? ||1||Pause|| Bhul chuk maaf
  20. Sangat jee - There will be an Amrit Sanchar conducted at Nanaksar Gurudwara in Brampton, Ontario on Jan.16, 2016 (Saturday). This Gurughar follows Srimaan Baba Gurdev Singh jee, who used to be part of Panj Pyaray, during the times of Srimaan Sant Baba Ishar Singh jee Kaleranwale If anyone living in GTA (Greater Toronto Area) or nearby needs a ride, please let me know. Daas can try arranging something. Bhul chuk maaf
  21. Bro, are there many East Punjabi truck drivers in UK? Thanks Bhul chuk maaf
  22. Please read below a Sakhi of an old Brahmin Saint, a young boy and Sri Satguru jee (Tenth master): Reference: Gur Balam Sakhian by Bhai Vir Singh jee Bhul chuk maaf
