You might be right brother, but Gyani jee could have used the word "Hey Jeev" instead of "Hey Pursha". Maybe he used the latter as it is a specific teaching for males (in general) as Manukhi dehi does not apply to any other living being. Bhul chuk maaf

The below is from Amir Bhandar. Gyani jee has mentioned the word "Pursha". There is no doubt that "Purush" refers to a male. There is no uthanka mentioned, so one cannot claim (at this point) that master is talking to a male only and thereby using the word "Pursha". Bro, let me confirm this with a scholar. Most likely, it does. Female body is a type of Maya. It cannot be classified as a Manukhi Deh. Maya are of two types - Kanchan (wealth) and Kamini (women) or Jarr (wealth) and Chaytan (women). You might already be aware that a female body is considered as a downgrade to a male body in Gurbani. One tuk states that a man, who worships Maya, becomes a woman in his next birth.
