  1. Mukhti is broken into of five types.. four are sargun mukhti listed in gurbani tukhs below.

chaar mukath chaarai sidhh mil kai dhooleh prabh kee saran pariou ||

I have obtained the four kinds of liberation, and the four miraculous spiritual powers, in the Sanctuary of God, my Husband Lord.

mukath bhaeiou chouhoo(n) jug jaaniou jas keerath maathhai shhathra dhhariou ||1||

I am liberated, and famous throughout the four ages; the canopy of praise and fame waves over my head. ||1|| Ang- 1105

1.Salokya Mukhti- in which the devotee gains a place in the realm of one ishatdev or attainment of the salok given by ishatdev mentioned.

    2. Sarupya Mukhti – in which devotee obtains heaven and same bodily qualities as Sargun Vahiguroo (avtar , isher or deity roop)

    3. Samipya Mukhti- leads not only to divine virtues but a god (isher/sargun) god like form.

    4. Saujya mukhti- There is unity through immersion without losing one's own identity -Fish(Bhagat) in a ocean.

Bhramgyan/Kaival Mukhti- No distinction as there is no perception of individuality of being-fish/bhagat in a ocean or even a ocean itself, for understanding purposes- its actually only ocean - Supreme Consciousness Awarenes - bhramgyan- self realization of real self/nirgun saroop. nothing else.!!

For more information- Listen to Sant gyani gurbachan singh khalsa bhindranwale katha of gurbani.

There is no difference between kaival mukhti and jevan mukhti/bedah mukhti in terms of avastha, avastha is same only difference - jevan mukht is bhramgyani who retains the body for benefit the human kind-turiya avastha and bedah mukht who goes in full maha smaadhi (turiya atit avastha) leave the body, becomes bedah because body cannot retain fully maha samadhi body gives up naturally. There are stories of mahapursh whose followers were forcefully feeding mahapursh who has gone in turiya atith avastha just to keep the body alive for darshan, they know there is no coming back to normal conscious but to have followers darshan of body for couple of months.

Amazing, thanks for posting this shabad and your thoughts.

Yeah I'm not denying that bro. I even said the same thing in the asexuality thread. But to say it's a outright sin even in marriage, and that it's banned unless for procreation is kattarvaadi at it's finest, and not to mention has no basis.

This isn't Christian Victorian England. No need to be frigid and ashamed of sex.

    Agreed 100%

  4. Lot of people, couples after some level of awakening reports decrease in sexual activity naturally as they are more connected with inner subject/seer/consciousness/atma/chaitna than outside object, but at the same time they also mention they live their life in harmony and in undivided way-everything is expression of life and consciousness (than personal ego I-claiming ownership) which means they are not divided within themselves with dilemma or doubts.

  5. You can read jaap sahib-one of compositions we read every day, it has many names of lord. One of our saints wrote this while explaining esoteric mystery behind god's name:

    source: http://www.akalbungasahib.com/babaji.html under God

He went on to say “Why have we invented so many names for God? There must be a certain reason, because God cannot be named, a name can easily be changed, but God remains the same. So why has God been addressed? Because there are moments when you would like to scream out your inner feelings to God in sheer joy. Some name is needed. Muslim Sufis invented ninety-nine names of God that are so beautiful, but why not a hundred? Ninety-nine looks a bit incomplete. There is a certain reason the hundredth name is kept silent and that is the true name of God, which of course can’t be uttered. That is why Guru Nanak said ‘Satnam’. Your name is thee truth. But in reality you can’t utter it because it will lose its’ beauty. It remains un-uttered at the deepest core of the heart. What is God’s true name? Nobody knows that all the names are man’s creation. The true name of God is the existence that surrounds you.”

How can one call Him by all His names? The wise give him names according to His manifestations – Jap Sahib, Guru Gobind Singh Ji He goes on saying. “those kind (the irreligious) of people haven’t known anything of spiritual experience. They’ve never felt any presence of God. The only way to receive God is to drop all your searching and seeking. The real question is recognition, not search, and the only way to know God is to live God.”

  6. This pure enlightened jot(knowledge/being/awareness) already exist in all of us, according to gurbani. Our mind have to quite/silence to experience it or abide it in and function through until it effort becomes effortless, until realization of that dawns.

The Joy of Being is the Joy of Being Conscious ByEckhart Tolle

Here is a spiritual practice that will bring empowerment and creative expansion into your life. Make a list of a number of everyday routine activities that you perform frequently. Include activities that you may consider uninteresting, boring, tedious, irritating, or stressful. But don’t include anything that you hate or detest doing. That’s a case either for acceptance or for stopping what you do. The list may include traveling to and from work, buying groceries, doing your laundry, or anything that you find tedious or stressful in your daily work. Then, whenever you are engaged in those activities, let them be a vehicle for alertness. Be absolutely present in what you do and sense the alert, alive stillness within you in the background of the activity. You will soon find that what you do in such a state of heightened awareness, instead of being stressful, tedious, or irritating, is actually becoming enjoyable. To be more precise, what you are enjoying is not really the outward action but the inner dimension of consciousness that flows into the action. This is finding the joy of Being in what you are doing. If you feel your life lacks significance or is too stressful or tedious, it is because you haven’t brought that dimension into your life yet. Being conscious in what you do has not yet become your main aim.

The new earth arises as more and more people discover that their main purpose in life is to bring the light of consciousness into this world and so use whatever they do as a vehicle for consciousness.

The joy of Being is the joy of being conscious.

Awakened consciousness then takes over from ego and begins to run your life. You may then find that an activity that you have been engaged in for a long time naturally begins to expand into something much bigger when it becomes empowered by consciousness. Some of those people who, through creative action, enrich the lives of many others simply do what they enjoy doing most without wanting to achieve or become anything through that activity. They may be musicians, artists, writers, scientists, teachers, or builders, or they may bring into manifestation new social or business structures (enlightened businesses). Sometimes for a few years their sphere of influence remains small; and then it can happen that suddenly or gradually a wave of creative empowerment flows into what they do, and their activity expands beyond anything they could have imagined and touches countless others. In addition to enjoyment, an intensity is now added to what they do and with it comes a creativity that goes beyond anything an ordinary human could accomplish.

But don’t let it go to your head, because up there is where a remnant of ego may be hiding. You are still an ordinary human. What is extraordinary is what comes through you into this world. But that essence you share with all beings. The fourteenth-century Persian poet and Sufi master Hafiz expresses this truth beautifully: “I am a hole in a flute that the Christ’s breath moves through. Listen to this music.”
