At work, the Bhagti program seems excessive, the leadership seems a bit emotional and inconsistent, theres existing rumors, and the fear of recording...

Remember there is a difference between damaging and non damaging cults.

Run them and Sikhi through this guide yourself. You'll find we are benevolent and only share some overlap in my opinion.

But you can see that because we have some overlap if you change what we're supposed to be about at all we can and do sometimes fall on the other side in small pockets.

Bhagti proramme- originally started over 3 years ago. Started at 6 hours per day and now at 120+. So it was a gradual increase. Btw this was for people who wanted to donit, no one was forced.

leadership - bhai saab has been consisten with everything from Swindon days going back 24 years. Maybe I have not fully understood your point though so apologies in advance.

Existing rumours - agree there are plenty but not everyone thought Guru Nanak Dev ji or Guru Gobind Singh ji were satguru, yet they are. My point is someone will always speak negatively. Many of the ones that do are either ones that have never been or ex sangat that may have gone for the wrong reasons. I know some personally.

Recordings - bhai saab has explained with gurbani quotes the punishment that awaits those who talk in sangat. Recording is the same. We wouldnt record a judge in court, why do we need to record in a gurdwara? Surely the aim is to pay full attention to the teachings. Also many record and then use that to preach outside to others. This without them having done the practical. Real life examples have been shared by sangat. The result is leading people incorrectly as you dont have the full knowledge yourself

  2. I think a cult would be where the leader discourages you from leaving that place and going to another. Bhai saab defo does not do that, infact he has always said dont actively encourage people to leave sangat wherever they are currently and come to GMGG. Because if they dont like it, they will have broken away from their original sangat and also Slough. Once broken off completely it is always harder to start again. Wherever you are just make sure you learn, apply and do the practical

    Waheguru Ji

By chance are you still recording these divans?  Where can we here them?

There are some older divans on Youtube but mostly from Slough. I dont think there are any from Swindon, a few also from Southall and Birmingham.

its usually the new years diwans which are uploaded to Youtube. I think its mostly because bhai saab encourages people to come into sangat and listen as the full benefit is there.

  4. Ive used this for my young son as he had some internal swelling. Its been brilliant. Will order some for myself too.
For him, we just crushed up half a tab and gave it to him in a bit of water so not to dilute it too much

  5. Jap naam veer. That is all the advice I can give. I used to work the doors years ago, my entire life was based around drink/drugs/women for a good few years. I lived on my own which meant there were zero restrictions. You can probably imagine where my mind was at all the time.

Then started on this path and all I can say is when you jap naam, everything starts to fall into place. Dont force anything, everything happens at its own pace. Just chant and take each day at a time. If you make a mistake, no problem, do an ardas to Waheguru, ask for forgiveness and carry on. Slowly but surely all these negative thoughts will stop. Naam is too powerful, nothing negative can stand in its way, it just takes time and effort on your part.

    Thats my experience anyway.

    All the best.

We as a quam hv lots of money and daswandh. We waste our daswandh like Khalsa aid does or by making big marble gurdwaras or making too many gurdwaras in villages.

We can use our daswandh to fund studies of gursikh kids who want to become doctors/dentists etc and then make them do this type of sikhi parchar/social service

    It will hv following benefits:

    1. We will be able to make many of our sikh children into doctors.

    2. Sikhi parchar.

    3. Social service

    @Soulfinder what do u say?

Curious as to how Khalsa aid waste money? I genuinely dont know much about them but whenever I hear anything it’s usually about them going to various places providing aid where needed. I think they just visited Turkey and provided langar/blankets etc.
