  1. When name of Baba Nand Singh Ji was mentioned, Daas did reply but now, has no problem. Though still I am against it, I don't consider doing vichar on it because noone can understand Brahmgyani's leela. Trimandeep Singh
  2. I have also given evidence from Gurbani to prove it is NOT part of Sikhism. Additionally, Damdami Taksal, which is one of the Puratan Sampradas, DON'T do it. Nanaksar doesn't do it. Even, AKJ (whose opinion you don't consider much important) DOESN'T do it. They try to follow lifestyle of Brahmgyani Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Ji. Also, probably Nihangs are the one of the few jathebandis in Khalsa Panth who do jhatka and yagya. It is also important to mention that some Tarna Dals (Nihangs) don't do jhatka but also don't consider it a qurehit (same for me). Naamdharis was a great jathebandi and had strict Rehat. However, they were kicked out when they made Mahapurakhs of their jatha equal to Guru Sahib. Udaasis are the same. They have produced more scholars than any other jathebandi. However, today they interpret Guru Granth Sahib Ji teachings in context of Vedas and consider Guru Sahib an incarnation of Vishnu Ji. Daas has respect for Udaasis because of their contribution to Khalsa but mentioning them to prove your point will only trigger a yawn. Trimandeep Singh
  3. Thik hai veer, havva vich gallan nhi karaanga. Changa Trimandeep Singh
  4. Reading bani will always benefit but adding the element of Havan to it won't add to Kamaayi. Havan is useless, not bani. Trimandeep Singh
  5. If AKJ does Akhand Paths at smagams and not Sampat Paths, that doesn't mean they don't believe in it. I will confirm this and get back. Also, which topic are you asking me to start?
  6. Oh that's so motivating to hear! Dhan Baba Nand Singh Ji! O God, please be merciful to me, that I may be with the Divine Guru; I am a foolish sinner, but holding onto Him, I am carried across. Trimandeep Singh
  7. Indeed those verses reject Havan/yagya. When you said, if you are rejecting Havan then you also have to reject Charities and Mercy. To that I replied that, all of the practices mentioned in that verse DON'T bear a fruit in spiritual sense. The verse is not talking about the benefits in worldly sense. Charities and mercy are good karams in worldly ense but don't come under Naam. If you don't jap naam but do charities, then these acts will be added in your good karams but wouldn't determine if you will get Mukti or not. FYI, there are 3 types of Karam- Bad Karam, Good Karam and Gurmat Karam. When we do bad deeds, they are added in Bad Karams Account, good deeds in Good Karams Account and NAAM in Gurmat Karams Account. As per Gurbani, Good deeds don't cut out our bad karams. Only Naam cuts out our Karam. The Word of the Guru's Shabad eradicates the karma of millions of past actions. ||3||1|| However, Yagya/Heaven/Idol Worship don't fall in under any of the karams. Because they are FRUITLESS. (However, if after seeing an amrirdhari gursikh do idol worship, some other gullible Sikhs engage in it, then that amritdhari is gonna land in great trouble) Trimandeep Singh
  8. "If you do a DHARMIK KARAM (including Sikh Rituals) and then BRAG about doing them, then that Karam becomes KARAM KAND." That's completely absurd. Just differentiate between what I am saying. First a those karams which are actually useless and don't bear any fruit in both, worldly and spiritual sense like wandering in forest, doing yagyas, disguise in saintly clothes, do aarti Pooja (Brahmans one), worship idols etc. THESE ARE KARAM KAAND. Second are those karams which are a KARAM OF DHARAM but we get very less or no fruit if we brag. Eg: one can have ego of his bhagti due to which he will get less benefit. BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN BHAGTI IS KARAM KAAND. If someone performs great penance, while acting in selfishness and conceit, he shall be reincarnated into heaven and hell, over and over again. If you do a DHARMIK KARAM (including Sikh Rituals) and then BRAG about doing them, then that Karam becomes KARAM KAND. You said the above statement and I have proved it wrong with the pankti of Sri Sukhmani sahib Trimandeep Singh
  9. So what have you concluded from the verses of Sri Gyan Parbodh I posted? Trimandeep Singh
  10. Guru sahib has said charities are useless in Sri Tav Prasad Saviyye too. This doesn't mean we shouldn't do them. People think by offering charities, going to teeraths, doing Yagya, they can please God and get Mukti. But in this bhagti sense, all these practices mentioned in verse of Gyan Parbodh I quoted like yagyas, charities, going to forests, wearing saintly clothes etc are useless, bear no fruit. Only naam goes with you Trimandeep Singh
  11. At a deeper level, Guru sahib is not asking Durga but Akaal Purakh who is creator of Bhavani. Guru sahib has used 'Maa' for Akaal Purakh also. I am in ecstasy, O my mother, for I have found my True Guru.
My Bhavani Ma, please listen to my plea. Bestow great blessings on your slave. Where is it saying he was making this plea while doing a Havan? Trimandeep Singh
  13. I suggest reading Asa Di Vaar and 2 Saviyye in Akal Ustat. They have exposed pakhand and anti gurmat rituals at large and in a beautiful way. Obviously, you are a great khoji sikh. So you know this Ji. All the Best Trimandeep Singh
One of the meanings of Amrit is Naam. Bhul chuk maaf **************************** When I asked you to quote a pankti from Gurbani which supports Brahmgyani giving naam, you replied given as above. To that, I replied, ******************* In the first pankti, it doesn't say that Brahmgyani can give naam. With the sight or glance of Brahmgyani, one receives amrit varkha (kirpa) of guru sahib to go on the right path. In second pankti, guru sahib says one receives nine treasures by meditating on naam. One receives everything when one japs naam. Bhul chuk maaf Trimandeep Singh ****************************** Please can you get meanings of the panktis you quoted from any teekas of Panthic Accepted Scholars? Trimandeep Singh
  15. Thanks and do tell your experience. Don't forget to get 1 kg ghee. Eagerly waiting ji
  16. Which evidence? You gave evidence from Sri Dasam Granth Sahib and I put forward the translation. You didn't tell me how do we conclude from this story, that Havan is in line with Gurmat. Trimandeep Singh
  17. It is saying without the One Almighty Lord, the world remains in entanglements and this 'Moh of Maaya' is false.
  18. Excerpt from Brahmgyaani Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Ji's Book, Naam teh Naam Da Daata Satguru. The True Guru is the Giver of the Name of the Lord. God Himself causes us to meet Him. The True Guru understands the Lord God. There is no other as Great as the Guru. The True Guru has blessed me with the Lord's Name, and I have tasted the Ambrosial Nectar. The True Guru is the Giver of the Naam; His Treasure is perfect and overflowing. The True Guru, the Giver, is met when the Lord leads us to meet Him. The True Guru, the Giver, has implanted the Naam, the Name of the Lord, within me. Through the Perfect Guru, understanding is obtained. ||1|| Like these, there are several gurvaaks in Gurbani which clearly state that only Satguru is the giver of Naam. Except Satguru, noone can become 'Naam Da Daata' be it a Sikh, Sant, Mahant, Gurmukh or even a Brahmgyani with the highest avastha. They can neither given naam nor become 'Naam Da Daata'. Those sikhs, gurmukhs and sants who do manmat of giving naam, they are imitating the Guru. They become 'shareeks' of Vaheguru and are not gurmukhs, but manmukhs. Wherever you see a Sikh giving naam to someone, believe it there itself that the chain of Guru-Dom has started. By giving Gurgaddi to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Sri Dashmesh Ji gave the Panj Pyaare the authority of giving amrit and naam in huzoori of Guru Granth sahib Ji. Receiving naam from a Sikh or Sant means giving them the 'padvi' of Satguru. The above gurvaaks clear it that it is because of one's fortune that one meets the True Guru. According to hukam of Vaheguru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji arrives in the world and as per one's destiny, one meets the Satguru. Satgurus are not appointed by humans but from Sachkhandi Hukam. As per the Akaali Hukam, this 'padvi' of Satguru has been given solely to Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Jot Saroopi 10 Gurus and the true jot of the 10 gurus, Sri Guru Granth sahib. Noone had this 'padvi' in the past and nor will anyone get it in the present or future. However, several Fake Gurus have been there in the past, several exist in the present, and several will be there in the future. No Dehdhaari Guru can be equal to Satguru Nanak Dev Ji! **************************** Hun taan Brahmgyani khud bol reha, hun taan man lai praava. Trimandeep Singh
  19. Yes, I did listen to it and after listening to translations, here is story. ************* Once demons gathered together to discuss the problem of Vishnu with them. He always killed the demons and his mystery was still unknown. Shukracharya, the head of the demons said that the devte perform yajnas and that is why they always remain happy. So, he recommended to do a yajna so that they can defeat the devte the next time. The devte went to Vishnu and requested him to do something about it. Vishnu said that now, he will take an avatar to destroy the yajna of the demons. Vishnu went to various pilgrimage sites and did ritualistic 'Teerath Ishnaan' and gave millions of charities to Brahmans. Then he remembered the Almighty Lord who instructed him to take avatar of Arhant Dev. As Arhant Dev, he started a new religion and became the guru of the demons. He started various sects of which one was of a Sravak (Jains). He commanded all to pluck down their hair locks. As a result, the demons forgot the mantras and if someone did remember, it would have negative impact on him. He then stopped the practice of sacrificial killing in the name of lord which is essential for a yajna. Hence, noone killed beings and couldn't perform any yajna. If anyone used to kill beings, he was slandered and insulted by the whole world. Vishnu showed everyone the wrong path in the name of Dharam and noone performed the Dharmic Karams. ****************** But how does this tell that Yagya/Havan/Hom is in line with Gurmat. Well, you can try doing a Havan and tell us your experience, throwing useless samagri in the fire and reciting Brahm Kavach the same time. Trimandeep Singh
  20. What? What message does it give about death? It means one who gets the True Guru gets a spot in that place where there is no spiritual death (no vikaars) and no cycle of 84 Lakh Joons. What is it saying About death? And what message is it giving about death? It just says there is no death in realm of truth, Sachkhand. Trimandeep Singh
  21. If we take every pankti of Guru Granth Sahib literally, then there be only misinterpretations. We need to interpret meanings of panktis on the basis of whole of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. And Daas has already quoted the pankti This is clear that there is only one Satguru ,that is, Satguru Nanak Dev Ji. If we take literal meaning of 'Guru' in all panktis of Guru Granth Sahib, then the basic foundation of Gurmat principles would cease to exist. Don't take everything in literal sense, but in light of teachings of Guru sahib. Trimandeep Singh
Nanak builds his house upon that site where there is no death, no birth, and no old age. ||4||6||76|| Here Guru Sahib is talking about death or the greatness of Guru Nanak Dev Ji? Trimandeep Singh
  23. Please tell how this is related to a funeral, particularly encouraging us to accept hukam and not grieve? Trimandeep Singh
