  1. I disagree with that. I have not had a chance to thoroughly investigate it, so I dont know what to say. But if its true that some of the content is extremely disturbing, than we should not regard it as bani. Also, have you guys read Daljit's singh's paper on that? He is one of my favorite writers who seems very reliable to me...He argues against some of the bani in Dasam Granth. On the other hand, I have heard that Bhai Randhir Singh supported the Dasam Granth. Does anyone know if this is true? Is it the same Randhir Singh who created the AKJ?
  2. Has anyone read "Sach Kand Darshan"? It basically insinuates how the khands are actual worlds...Does anyone agree to that or read other sources that indicate the same thing?
  3. I only have one question. the word surat and sooorat have two different meanings. the word surat means awareness, while sooorat means shape or figure. this line says sooorat not surat.
  4. "The main difference is that whereas the Buddha-nature is held to All Pervasive but people must make efforts to realise it, the Guru-nature is also All-Pervasive but reaches out to everyone. It is a matter of effort against Grace." I am not exactly sure what exactly this means. Can you elaborate on this?
  5. sorry i forgot to look at sikhim.org..thanks!
  6. thanks for all the welcomes! I went to both of these websites. Yeah, you cannot download anything from SikhitotheMax yet. And I have already downloaded the banis from Sikhnet, but I wanted the Guru Granth Sahib on it. The acrobat file of SGGS on the site is only compatible for the computer....but I can perhaps look for a program that converts computer acrobat files to PDA files. Thanks for the help! I saw many of the discussions that people have here and they are really interesting and I am excited to join.
  7. Does anyone know how I can download SGGS on my PDA?
