  1. Gurbani cannot come into existence without Satguru jyoti.

In Guru Granth Sahib, we have gurbani of Guru Sahibaan and the Bani of bhagats which Guru Sahib accepted as Gurbani.

There is lots of Bani of bhagats which is not in Guru Granth Sahib because Guru Sahib didn't accept it as Gurbani.

Satguru can mean Gurbani in that verse and Gurbani can be recited by any person (Sikh or non-Sikh),

In any case, our Satguru is Gurbani.

    Bhul chuk maaf

Gurbani and Guru jyoti are abhed (intermixed) with each other.

Where there is Gurbani, there is Satguru jyoti too.

That's why we call Guru Granth Sahib as Dassan patshahan di jyot.

It sounds like Kabeer Ji fell directly into the Prem Bhagti of Satguru Akal Purakh.

    Aasa ki Vaar says

    Bin satgur kinnai na payiyo

If Akaal Purakh is Satguru, this tukk will mean

Without Akaal Purakh, no one can meet Akaal Purakh

    This won't make any sense.

Akal Purakh is not Satguru as Akaal Purakh never comes to this world.

Are you saying that non-Sikhs cannot reach Sachkhand?

    Respected Bro

    That is not my point.

    According to Asa ki Vaar

Every person(whether sikh or non sikh) meets God through a Satguru.

Who was the Satguru of Kabir ji and ramanand ji?

Was there someone else as big as Guru Nanak Dev ji during this time period who was a Satguru.

If Yes, who was he ?

Above tukk is from Aasa ki Vaar.

No One has obtained God without Satguru.

Kabir ji and ramanand are called bhagats in Gurbani and not Satguru.

Who was their Satguru who made them meet God?

Are you saying that non-Sikhs cannot reach Sachkhand?

For us, one of the best ways to please Sri Satguru jee is by engaging in Seva of needy fellow human beings.

We are suppose to see the light of Sri Satguru jee in ALL humans.

    Bhul chuk maaf

    Yes bro

    We shud serve humanity.

But today there are thousands of our fellow sikh brothers who need our support.

Many of us (not all) ignore our fellow Sikhs and use the panth's money on langar as a publicity stunt to please the world.

We shud not limit sikhi to a free restaurant just for publicity.

  8. Many of our present day Sikhs want to please the world instead of pleasing their Guru.

They want to tell the world "oh we are nice people, we give free food to all human beings".

" oh we are nice secular people, we have Bani of Hindu bhagats in our holy book"...

We have evidence from beejak Granth that Kabir ji rejected ramanand ji as his Guru.

We have evidence from the Nanak panthis in Maghar in UP that Guru Nanak Dev ji and kabir jee met there.

  9. I have read kabir jee's Bani in Guru Granth Sahib.

I am also reading beejak Granth at present.

Kabir ji's Bani in beejak Granth is nice spiritual Bani but it is much inferior to his bani in Guru Granth Sahib.

This is what I feel might have happened.

Kabir ji was a spiritual and nice person from birth.

He made Ramanand ji his Guru.

After some time he realized ramanand ji was not a true guru as he worshipped Raam, the son of Dasrath.

Kabir ji met Guru Nanak Dev ji at Maghar in UP, got gurmantar, became a complete bhagat and had darshan of Waheguru.

Later Ramanand ji and other bhagats like peepa ji, jaidev ji etc. also accepted Guru Nanak Dev ji as their Guru and reached Sachkhand.

Only the Sachkhandi Bani of these bhagats is recorded in Guru Granth Sahib.

Okay but the point I am referring to is that both Ramanand and kabirji have their banis in our Guru and are thus Sach n sacred to us. They believe in Almighty Ram only so we are a sacrifice to them both.

    I completely agree veer

Ramanand and kabir jee were spiritual souls but were not able to reach Sachkhand.

Only after meeting Guru Nanak Dev ji, they got the gurmantar and were able to reach Sachkhand. Only their sachkhandi baani is recorded in Guru Granth Sahib.
