Nowdays with Guru Sahib Ji's kirpa dass can read Chandi Chirtar 1 without audio tracks. But yesterday used audio track for Chandi chirtar 2.

 

So yesterday this is how dass did paath of the banis. First read Chandi Di Vaar then Chandi Chirtar 1 followed by Chandi Chirtar 2 then 28 pauris of shastar naam mala then in chunks Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji. After that Jap Ji Sahib then finally Satta Balwand di vaar ramkali. 

So it was a quite long stretch of a day but dass loved every minute of it. Especially the Bir Ras feeling from the banis.

I won't put a daswand section for my website or YouTube channel. I have had zero cost in maintaining any of this. I have checked the plans to upgrade the website, it's just a few dollars per year so it will be fine. I can handle that with Guru's kirpa soon when I get a salary. I'll probably change the site name soon too and buy a domain name

Dass is glad to help and give suggestions. I am very interested and thankful as this is gonna be a great idea as its certainly needed big time veer ji. I would suggest that you should look at other websites like gurmatveechar and the Basics of Sikhi YouTube page and browse their Facebook page as it shall help generate and give inspiration to the blue prints of the website that you are gonna make.

First of all its a great idea and may Waheguru Guru Sahib Ji do kirpa on you for this great seva.

 

Dass would recommend you that their shouldn't be any file size attachment restrictions as this site doesn't allow anything past 35mb upload.

 

Also i would suggest that you do ardas before starting the project as you will need Waheguru Guru Sahib Ji's kirpa for it.

 

You can add a daily reminder of how many paaths to do in a day and have a sort of a nitnem checker for our members on the site. Also a simran page for sangat who enjoy simran.

 

A live stream section could useful for the sangat for live deewans across the world or maybe local area deewans. This will work for people whom enjoy Akj kirtan ransbhai samgams.

 

Thank you for the suggestions veerji! Hanji will definitely do ardas. I'm not creating a forum, like it's just a website for das to upload bani , audios, e books for now since I'm using a free software. Maybe in the future I'll do a forum too and I'll definitely make sure that the forum can upload large files.

The daily reminder of Nitnem is a great suggestion! I will try to find a way to implement it into the site thank you ji!

Live stream suggestion is great too! I didn't think of it. But it might be abit hard so I'll take some time to figure it out and add it in an update! I have completed the main database of the site. It's ready to be available to public now, I have Nitnem audio set up, some gurbani softcopies ready, a section on the rehat maryada is done, and about 4 softcopies of online Sikh books are up as well! I'm thinking of making it public tomorrow as I'll still add a Sakhi section about the lives of all our Gurus then Gursikhs as well. It's hard to put everything up at once, that would mean the site can only be uploaded in about 5 to 6 months. So what I'm thinking of doing is uploading the basic version of the site, then updating it on a regular basis with more Banis, new e books etc.

For Banis, for now i will be linking it to my youtube channel, in the long term i may add full gurbani documents of the bani and maybe larivaar versions too. Added Rehat Maryada too, I will be adding E-books for the Sangat to read as well. I will also be updating the site probably on a weekly basis and add Sakhis of All the Gurus and then Gursikhs as well. I am not paying any money for the site so currently will be on a google site, may upgrade it in the future.
