Not sure why your saying your loosing faith in SGGS. On the contrary your faith in your Guru should be increasing because your are learning about the hidden gems contained within Gurbani and how it is pointing you in the direction of Waheguru Nirankar.  If you want to do sargun bhagti of saroop of SGGS then that is slightly different to bhagti of nirgun nirankar which what Bhai Simranjeet Singh is teaching. Your getting yourself confused. That journey is more about following the instructions of Gurbani and trying to walk on the practical path for yourself and reaching the states gurbani talks about. Surely that is the ultimate goal right?

Sunn is a state when there are no thoughts, just awareness exists very subtly. You will be numb almost like your just about to dose off. You won’t be able to even jap gurmantar at that time. Trying to maintain that state is very hard because you will most likely dose off and go into a sleep state known as sehaj.

Please don’t try and put negative ideas into peoples head. If someone during abhiyaas someone encounters something negative let them state else it’s just speculation on our part. I would say to everyone remain positive until you personally encounter something which frightens you. These days there are so many Gurmukhs one can consult so no need to worry.

Anhad naad is when the anhad shabads (multiple sounds) merge to form a single sound. 

There are two ways of obtaining the ras:

1. There is said to be Amrit in the air all around us. As you jap the gurmantar with dhyan and the air passes through your mouth you will begin to feel a sweetness in your mouth.

2. When you reach an higher avasta and can hear Anhad naad then as you listen to it with dhyan Amrit ras also drips from the naad.

He says don't strain yourself trying to create a bindu (spot). Put your dhyan gently there 3/4 inch or 2cm behind and between the eyes. A subtle light should appear around your eyes region.

The sun blazes forth at the western gate.
pachham du-aarai sooraj tapai.

Through the central channel of the Shushmanaa, it rises up above my head.

There is a stone at that western gate,

and above that stone, is another window.
tih sil oopar khirhkee a-or.

Above that window is the Tenth Gate.
khirhkee oopar dasvaa du-aar.
