  1. In this case the government is not trying to protect people from "abuse and hostility", but rather to protect state-recognised mainstream religious ideologies from criticism.

The arguments you make regarding protection of attack on our personalities are pretty stupid. The laws already exist protecting our personalities. What we're seeing is more law, intended to protect state-recognised mainstream religious ideologies from criticism.

The CPS and the judicial system is to judge on whether criticism towards any state-recognised mainstream religious ideology is hateful or abusive. That puts them in charge of those state-recognised mainstream religious ideologies, making them state-headed religions rather like SGPC was and the Church of England is.

Don't waste words with me about civilised societies and your own narrow interpretation of what a free society is. I don't have time to waste on you and your 3 or 4 mindless fanatical followers here. I only posted this here because I think it's something you should be aware of as it pertains to religion. I really don't care about your bland and unsupported assertions regarding the role of goverment and the legitimacy of our democracy. This is not because I think you're too small but because I don't believe you.

A man in religious garb is nothing more than a Judas.

  2. Here:

    http://www.cps.gov.uk/publications/docs/rrpbcrpol.pdf

Making "abusive" and "insulting" comments about religion is not only a feature of SikhAwareness but is also a part of being a member of a free society. Soon to be a thing of the past, with govt-appointed, mandatorily-qualified ministers of religion heading up every mainstream denomination.

You wonder about the SGPC and the Tat Khalsa?? Well right under your nose you are seeing the birth of the Tat Khalsa, Tat Muslim, Tat Christian, etc, all backed up with the iron fist of the government to suppress dissent.

  3. Right CK. Rohypnol is in the class of drugs called sedative-hypnotics. It does NOT cause infertility. Some people take this type of drug because of dependance. It is very easy for anyone to obtain.

Progesterex is a hormonal drug, which MAY cause infertility.

Obviously, if you've been slipped a spiked drink you will not know which (if any) drug is in your system. Rohypnol will stay in your system in detectable amounts for up to 3 days.

If you don't have access to clinical drug tests or don't want to approach the police you may buy reliable drug testing kits for self-testing, by searching online. These are quite cheap.

  4. The Drug's affects ARE NOT TEMPORARY - they are PERMANENT.

Any female that takes it WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO CONCEIVE.

This is simply not true. It's amazing what rubbish people allow themselves to believe.

There is one drug that has the potential to instantly sterilise, and it's called Progesterex. It is a different drug altogether.

  5. desi, care to explain:

"Warriors compress time; this is the sixth principle of the

art of stalking . Even an instant counts. In a battle for your

life, a second is an eternity, an eternity that may decide the

outcome. Warriors aim at succeeding, therefore they compress time.

    Warriors don't waste an instant."

    and

"What we need to do to allow magic to get hold of us is to

banish doubts from our minds. Once doubts are banished anything is

    possible. "

    and

"Applying these principles brings about three results. The

    first is that stalkers learn never to take themselves seriously;

they learn to laugh at themselves. If they are not afraid of being

a fool, they can fool anyone. The second is that stalkers learn to

have endless patience. Stalkers are never in a hurry; they never

fret. And the third is that stalkers learn to have an endless

    capacity to improvise."

    ???

    is a warrior a stalker?

  6. I haven't read the whole article as of yet, but I just wanted to comment on the bold...You live in the white man's country..the issue of the kirpan is a very delicate one with them...not as black and white for them...but it's still their country, catch my drift...you can't move to a foreign country, and expect them to adapt all their laws to suit a minority right away...over time changes will occur

    just my thoughts.

Seems to say: just hold on a bit longer, it'll all work itself out (no evidence that it will). And what about Sikhs who were born outside India, or white people taking up Sikhism? Sikhism belongs to humanity without borders, so it's a simple matter of religious rights.

Also, the white man isn't perceived as superior. No good passing that assertion off as fact.

Not that I care one way or another. When the time comes when kirpan is fully accepted throughout the land 100% credit will go to Amrik Singh of Sikh Federation whether he deserves it or not.
