  3. LoL!!! Sorry Bro. Yeah, there was a sant, people used to call his 'sant doo guttan wale'. the reason for this name is because he had to long plats and his hear was matted. he used to swear alot and he used to have thousands of people come to see him. He never let people touch his feet, and he used to swear alot. he never accepted money and when people used to give him money, he used to throw it in fire or used to tell the to go. I have spoke to some one that used to do seva there and they say that once they went to his poora and saw his body in pieces. 2 days later he came out of his poora. he used to sit for days upon end doing bhakti.

  8. Thanks for the replies! With respect from recieving it from the true guru, isnt the Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji the highest, most truthful guru of them all. Does that mean if i havnt recieved Naam from Panj Piaray, my recitation of Vaheguru will be unfruitful?
  9. I read on a website, sikhism.us i think, that any one who recites the Gurmantar and they have not chakked amrit, the gurmanter is powerless and that this can only be initiated by the panj piaras. can somebody please explain to me wjhy this was stated as Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji states Vaheguru Gurmanter is for everyone. Mit.

  16. Hi all! Hope you are all weel. I know i have asked this question before, but, i would like to know. if i woke early in the morning and did naap japna, not my nitnem, would that be ok? I have read that the essance of sikhi is to jaap naam. i know we have baani's written by our guru's but isnt sikhi all about getting engrossed within naam? Thanks a million! mit
  17. I was having a conversation with my friend, who attended a wedding at a gurudwara in Cardiff and there was meat inside. I think they are of the 'Pathra' Caste? Can anybody confirm why this is allowed for them, bearing in mind gur maharaj (Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji) is presant upstairs in the Darbar Sahib? Love and Light. Mit

  24. very well put Maha Kharag Singh. Yours, i came here because i was stuck and didnt know how to react. Reading your post, im not going to go on the defensive and say that i was right in what i did. You are right, but again, at the time of the situation i suppose my ego got the better of me. Next time, if that is, i have the same situation again, i will simply put my head down and walk away. Thanks again.
