Dear Sikhs, This is a non-issue, the fact is that SGGS and Sikhism have a clear message that men and women are equal. The Gurus were not stupid, they would not contradict their own teachigs, otherwise they would be hypocrites. There is NO evidence whatsoever of any Guru having more than one wife, all these are just British Christian missionary inventions. It is not for Sikhs to disprove but for others to prove the assertion. Until then, it is nothing more than hearsay and as good as false! It would not even stand up in a court of law! If something is true, then it should not be deleted! There is way too much political correctness on this site, you have to remove this and let the truth come out! Dear people, Islam and Christianity are joker religions which were spread by use of the sword, most people never wanted to become Muslims but were forced to do so otherwise they would be killed! However, Sikhs need missionaries to spread Sikhism and make it known! Not necessarily to convert people but at least to spread INFORMATION! Euthanasia is wrong because we should help to preserve life not take it away. If someone was suffering then I would give them drugs like morphine etc. to ease their pain, I would also go out of my way to help them live their life, afterall, what is the point of family or true friendship? God forbid, but if my brother or best friend were in such a condition, I would never give up on them, I would make their lives as good as possible until they passed on naturally! That is the best way and it is the Sikh way... Dear brothers KS and Nitrogen trioxide (NO3 = N + 3O) , The fact is that queers are not queers out of choice but because they are born that way, this is a result of a genetic disorder which causes men to have female sexual preferences and women to have male sexual preferences, this is not an opinion, but a scientific fact. The best way to deal with this is allowing them to have a sex change to the opposite sex thus solving this disgusting problem. Thus queer men will become normal heterosexual women and queer women will become normal heterosexual men. This is the best we can do as this is all current technology allows, however, in the near future, we may be able to genetically alter or remove the defective genes and make them normal heterosexuals again! Until then, sex change operations must be encouraged. As much as I find queerness to be absolutely disgusting, one must be a good Sikh and not harm these people. It is not their fault... Firstly I would like to say, relax bro, do not worry, Sikhism is fully compatible with science! Infact it is the ONLY religion compatible with science. Also, I agree with infernal monk about his points regarding Sikhism and evolution and God's permission for us to find the truth... Any way, back to the point and no bro steel bangle, we are not playing God's role, do you think that God's role is so small that in a vast universe of such enormus size, he is only worried about us puny creatures (Humans)? lol He has alot of other important work to do! Bro, they only die quickly because we do not know how to clone properly, if God did not want us to do it, he would have made it impossible, like breaking the laws of Physics, it is impossible to break these laws! Brother, the mechanism for the soul entering the body is the same regardless of how the human is produced. For example, when a man and a woman have sex, the baby that is born is still made by them right? I am being simplistic in order to avoid confusion... This baby wasn't made DIRECTLY by God was it? All that happened was that a sperm joined an egg (SGGS also says this!) causing fertilization resulting in the formation of an embryo! This embryo then develops in to a baby which is born 9 months after conception... Well, all that happens in cloning is that they do the same thing, but replace the DNA of the mother and father with that of another person/animal, so instead of a baby with the characterisitics of the mother and father being born, a baby with the characteristics of the person whose DNA was injected in to the egg is born! Sounds confusing but it's not if you truly understand science. The baby that is born is a REAL person, it just looks like another person, but it has it's OWN SOUL and PERSONALITY! This process in no way violates God's natural laws (laws of physics)! However, one may ask, is it ethical to do such a thing? Is it right to make someone look a certain way? Who are we to decide such things about another person? These are the tough questions. Also, the only people who are against cloning are the Christians, Muslims and Jews, as it totally contradicts their garbage religions lol That's why they are against it... Brother, exactly, but it is NOT against Waheguru's hukam in the sense of his Physical laws, but it MAY be against his MORAL/ETHICAL laws! YOU GOT IT!!! Also remember, with this new technology we will be able to wipe out all the diseases in the world, as well as all the filth and perversions like homosexuality and pedophilia, we can alter the genetic make up of humans to make sure everyone turns out normal! Dear people, You lack passion and determination to make things happen. Also the leaders of today are corrupt, they must be removed by fair means or foul, they are the single biggest cause of the deterioration that Sikhism is going through. The youth are abandoning Sikhism in larger numbers than before and no one seems to be doing anything to counter this trend. Firstly, you need to have pride in being a Sikh, then you must explain why it is the best ideology (Religion) in the history of mankind. Then you must relate it to the modern world and stop finding comfort in past glories, as those Sikhs of yesterday were a thousand times better than any Sikh alive today. Even the Khalsa of today is not a speck on the original Khalsa of Guru Gobind Singh! You all need to focus on your race as well, Punjabis are not weak people, you have been around for 5,000 years and you are just being eaten alive by the "Indian" fraud which has been thrust upon you. You guys are not "Indians" and have nothing to do with the "Hindi entity" known as "India"... Punjab is your motherland and it is your duty to secure her freedom, not just for yourselves but for the future of Sikhism too. It is only a matter of time that with the ever increasing number of immigrants that Punjab's Sikh population will be a minority in their own homeland. This situation MUST be reversed, you need to get these "Indians" out of Punjab. Sikhs are not a race, they are followers of an ideology. However, Punjabi Sikhs are indeed a race or can be considered as such. I would encourage all Punjabi Sikhs to call themselves this as it is your true identity. You should all oppose anything and everything that classifies you falsely as "Indians", because you are not "Indians"... They are a bunch of black skinned Dravidians (not that there is anything wrong with black skin), where as you are fair skinned Punjabi Aryans...
