Sadaa Sampooran Paath

Recommended Posts

Hi guys!

Wope all are well. I came across the term 'SADAA SAMPOORAN PAATH' and that all Bani's are read in one go, including rehraas. Is this a correct procedure? Below are the Banis that are read. God bless and light!

Sadaa Sampooran Paath means "ever complete reading." It includes the following Banis which are read all at once, rather than at various times of the day. The Paath includes:

Japji Sahib (Siri Guru Granth Sahib, page 1)

Shabad Hazaray (Siri Guru Granth, page 96, 660, 721, 722, 730, 795)

Jaap Sahib (First bani in Dasam Granth)

Swaiya (From Akal Ustat in Dasam Granth)

Anand Sahib (Siri Guru Granth Sahib, page 917)

Rehiras Sahib (Siri Guru Granth Sahib, page 467)

Kirtan Sohila (Siri Guru Granth Sahib, page 12)

Paintees Akhree (in expanded Sundar Gudka)

Naseehat Naamaa (in expanded Sundar Gudka)

Basant Kee Var (Siri Guru Granth Sahib, page 1193)

Bentee Chaupae (from Pakhyaan Charitra in

Dasam Granth)
