kaagaa karang dandoliaa sagalaa khaaeiaa maas ||

The crows have searched my skeleton, and eaten all my flesh.

eae dhue nainaa math shhuho, pir dhaekhan kee aas... ||91||

But please do not touch these eyes; I hope to see my Husband Lord. ||91||

kaagaa choondd na pinjaraa basai th ouddar jaahi ||

O crow, do not peck at my skeleton; if you have landed on it, fly away.

jith pinjarai maeraa sahu vasai maas n thidhoo khaahi ||92||

Do not eat the flesh from that skeleton, within which my Husband Lord abides. ||92||

fareedhaa gor nimaanee sadd karae nighariaa ghar aao ||

Fareed, the poor grave calls out, ""O homeless one, come back to your home.

sarapar maithhai aavanaa maranahu n ddariaahu ||93||

You shall surely have to come to me; do not be afraid of death.""||93||

eaenee loeinee dhaekhadhiaa kaethee chal gee ||

These eyes have seen a great many leave.

fareedhaa lokaan aapo aapanee mai aapanee pee ||94||

Fareed, the people have their fate, and I have mine. ||94||

aap savaarehi mai milehi mai miliaa sukh hoe ||

God says, ""If you reform yourself, you shall meet me, and meeting me, you shall be at peace.

fareedhaa jae thoo maeraa hoe rehehi sabh jag thaeraa hoe ||95||

He says, O Fareed, if you will be mine, the whole world will be yours.""||95||

shere khalsa jee -- its bhagat fareed jees saloks, its Gurbani.. he wasn't complaining, i think he just came to an amazing realization about the importance of TRUE bhagthee during Kaljug...

bhagat fareed jee's writings were amazing, i first heard this shabad at my friends funeral.. his writings hit you REALLY hard, and the meanings are really deep, but so understandable at the same time...it could relate to anyone
