Do You Believe This???

A girl went to her friends house and she
ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone.

She wasn't afraid because it was a small COMMUNITY and she lived
only a few blocks away.

As she walked along under the bike trail
Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger.

When she
reached the alley, which was a shortcut to her house, she decided to take it.

However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man
standing at the end as though he were waiting for her.

She became
uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection.

Instantly a
comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her,
she felt as though someone was walking with her.

When she reached
the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper
that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty
minutes after she had been there.

Feeling overwhelmed by this
tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to

Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young
woman, she decided to go to the police station.

She felt she could
recognize the man, so she told them her story.

The police asked
her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could
identify him.

She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she
had seen in the alley the night before.

When the man was told he
had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed.

officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was
anything they could do for her.

She asked if they would ask the man
one question.

Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her.

When the policeman asked him, he answered, 'Because she wasn't

She had two tall men walking on either side of her.

Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're not alone.
People will not stand up for God..

Love can never be exclusive.

The sun does not choose to shine on some flowers in the garden and not others.

Love is inclusive and has many faces - caring, listening, sharing from the heart, just accepting someone for what they are right now, are all acts of love, as long as you seek nothing in return.

It all starts with acceptance of yourself - you're just fine as you are right now, warts and all. It's not that you will stay that way for ever - but you might, if you don't accept.

The secret key to the greatest door called love is acceptance.

First your self, then others (especially the ones you currently resist) and eventually ...all.

Abundance is to see that there are endless possibilities before us.

And at the same time, still see an incredibly rich existence right where we are.

It is a feeling of gratitude for everything and everyone we have in our life.

Many times people report the feeling of divine help and strength when they come close to breaking point.

Actually divine help is always there, but we are usually so busy doing things in our own little way, that we only look for it when we face absolute defeat.

The tranquil nature of enlightened souls comes from their ability to take God's help constantly.

A state of true surrender will lead to the feeling of victory in everything we do.

One Fine Morning, The King Was Going For Walk With His Ministers.

On His Way He Saw A Young Boy Playing In The Mud.

The King Ordered His Soldiers To Bring That Boy To Him.

The Soldiers Followed The Orders And Escorted That Boy To The King.

The King Asked The Boy ..

KING : Why Are You Playing In The Mud, You Seem To Be Educated, Then Why Are You Spoiling

Your Clothes.

The Boy Smiled And Said,

BOY : Your Majesty, I'm Playing In The Mud Because I'm Made Up Of This Mud And After I Die,

I’ll Again Turn Into This Mud.

The King Was Amazed And Surprised With The Young Boy’s Answer.

The Minister Went To The King And Wispered In His Ear.. “Your Majesty, I Think This Boy Is Very Intelligent And Learned, Why Not Make Him Our Advisor, Since We Need One.

The king Was Convinced By His Ministers Words And Thought This Boy Would Be The Perfect Advisor

For Him.

The king Asked The Boy,

KING : Will You Became My Chief Advisor ?

I’ll Give You A Lot Of Money, Power And Everything You Want.

The Boy Just Smiled At The King’s Comment, And Said Politely...

BOY : Your Majesty, I’ll Love To Be Your Advisor , Your Servant But, I Have 4 Wishes ,

If You Fulfill Those 4 Wishes Then I’ll Definitely Be Your Advisor.

The King Agreed Without Thinking And Asked The Boy To Name His Wishes.

The Boy Started With His First Wish..

Boy : Your Majesty My First Condition Is That “Whatever Dish I Want To Eat, You’ll Provide Me, But You Will Not Eat It Yourself”.

Boy Then Said ..

My Second Condition Is “You Will Give Me All Expensive Clothes To Wear But You Will Not Wear Them Yourself”

Boy Continued...

My Third Condition Is “When Ever We Go For A Walk I’ll Not Follow You But We Should Walk Together”

The Boy Then Presented His Last Condition..

“Whenever I Sleep You Will Look After Me, But I Will Not Look After You”

After Hearing All The Condition The King Was Surprised,

KING : What Nonsense Is This..I'm The King, I Can Give You All The Delicious Dishes You Wish To Eat But I Will Also Eat Them,

I Can Give You All The Expensive Clothes But I’ll Also Wear Them,

I'm The King So Whenever We Go For A Walk You Should Follow Me, Why Should I Walk With You ...And Whenever I Sleep You Should Look After Me Why Should I.

The Boy Smiled At That And Said ...

BOY : Sorry Your Majesty You Cannot Fulfill My 4 Wishes How Can I Became Your Servant And You Cannot Be My Master..

He Gives Me Everything I Want To Eat.. But He Himself Doesn’t Ask For Them.

He Gives Me All The Clothes I Want To Wear But He Doesn’t Want Them Back.

Whenever I Go He Is Always With Me, Looking After Me And...

Whenever I Seep He Always Take Care of Me, But He Never Asks The Same From Me In Return.

So This Way Only HE And He Alone Can Be My BOSS And My Master.

After Hearing The Boy’s Words, The King Fell At The Boy's Feet And Said, Please Become My Advisor And Teach Me How To Live A Good Life...

I Now Realise The Wise Saying.." That Child Is The Father Of Man"

Expectations from others

Expecting the world to treat you fairly

because you are a good person...

Is like expectig the lion not to attack you,

because you are a vegetarian...

So be gentle, good and firm, but not a door mat...

The Influence Of Gossip

I cannot afford to overlook the influence that other people have on me.

To what extent do I check that I am not being influenced by gossip?

Negativity in the mind is like poison.

Negative thoughts are the seeds of negative actions.

Gossip and guessing bring sorrow, heaviness and distrust.

Hear no Evil;

See no Evil;

Speak no evil;

Think no Evil.

Please Don't Assume Before Verifying..

A Woman Owned A Dog Who Was Very Faithful To The Family.

She Could Trust The Dog To The Hilt, That She Felt Confident To Leave Her Baby In His Care

While Going Out To Attend Her Daily Matters.

On Her Return, She Always Found The Child Asleep In His Crib With The Dog Watching Over Him.

One Fine Day, As Usual The Woman Left The Baby In The Care Of Her Faithful Dog To Go Out

On Her Errands.

On Her Return, She Discovered A Rather Nasty Scene.

There Was A Total Mess Around, The Baby's Crib Was Overturned, His Nappies And Clothes

Torn To Shreds And Blood Stains All Over The Nursery Room Where She Had Left The Child

In Her Dog's Care.

Shocked, The Woman Wailed As She Began Her Search For The Baby.

Hearing Her Wails, Her Faithful Dog Emerged From Under The Bed. It Was Covered With Blood

All Over, Licking His Mouth As If It Had Just Finished A Delicious Meal.

The Woman Went Berserk And Assumed The Worst.

Thinking That The Dog Had Devoured Her Baby, She Grabbed A Metal Pipe And Lashed The

Dog To It's Death.

Thereafter, She Continued Her Search For The Remains Of Her Child.

Now She Beheld Another Scene Unfolding Ahead..

Close To The Bed Was Her Precious Baby Lying On The Bare Floor, Unhurt And Safe.

As She Stooped Down To Grab Her Child, She Noticed The Caracas Of A Snake Torn To Pieces

In What Must Have Been A Fierce Battle Between It And Her Faithful Dog, Which Was Now Lying

Dead In The Middle Of The Nursery.

Finally The Reality Dawned On Her And She Could Visualize What Took Place During Her Absence. The Dog Had Fought The Ravenous Snake To Protect Her Baby.

It Was Too Late Now For Regrets. In Her Impatience And Anger, She Had Killed Her Faithful Dog.

How Often Have We Misjudged People And Torn Them To Shreds, Either With Harsh Words

Or Deeds, Before We Had Time To Evaluate The Actual Situation ?.

How Many Times Have We Questioned Other People's Actions, Believing We Could Do Better In Their Shoes.

This Is Called 'Sin Of Assumption'

Presuming Things Our Way Without Caring To Unearth The Reality.

Little Patience And Cool Thinking, Can Drastically Reduce Making Grave Lifelong Mistakes.

Are You Misjudging Someone Right Now ?

Think Gravely, Take Time To Get To The Whole Truth Before Reacting.

Do Remember, You Cannot Truly Understand Another's Pain Unless You Yourself Experience It.

No Matter How Confident You May Be On Here say.

That Is The Reason That God In All His Wisdom Command's Us, "Thou Shall Not Judge".

Because God Alone Is Qualified Enough To Hold That Position.

Determination, will power ...

A frog decided to reach top of the tree.

All frogs shouted: it is impossible .....

Still that frog, reaches the top......

He was deaf....

and thought everyone was encouraging him to reach the top.

So, be deaf to negative thoughts... in order to reach your goal

People will hate, rate you, and try to break you.....

But how strong one stays, is what makes you make your dreams come true.

The same applies for spirituality. When sets off for Wahiguru, people will discourage you with their nonsense,

but how strong we stand, by giving ourselves to Him, is what will take us to Him.

People will talk, will provoke, will test your patience, but be firm, while they will remain just talking and watching,

one will definetely reach His abode.

Naam Simran

We may wonder why our Guru Sahibans stress so much on Naam Simran...

The thing is, there in Sach Khand, only Wahiguru Nirankar exists. And as we all know, also, the Unstruck melody of Shabad resounds forever.....

In that way, we have to fill up our beings with His Name, to that extent, that when we are full with it, we become used to it and we will not have any problem there, as there is no Tv, radio, magazines, mobiles, inetrnet and so on.....

It has been seen many a times, people feel insecure, as they are so engrossed in this mayavee creation, that they find it boring even to listen any issues on God and spirituality....

Wahiguru is no less, in that sense.

He has a purpose for us with His Simran, that while living here we become used to the bliss derived from His Simran, that like just as children depend on milk alone, similarly, we also get used with the Simran of His Naam, that much, that with time, each pore, each cell of our being, is filled with His Naam, thus only, can we merge in the Naam there, by His Kirpa.

We are like steel.

When we loose our temper , we loose our worth.

Even iron becomes weak when it is hot, and people use it as they wish.

So always try to stay cool, if you wish to be strong.

The nicest place is to be someone´s thoughts.

The safest palce is to be someone´s prayers.

But the best place is to be in God´s hands.

*Moral of these words:

One maybe all alone in this world, one may have no one on whom to lean on, but for sure Wahiguru is even then for us, there is no doubt in it.

It is we who have to place ourselves in His hands, and as per the Bani, to place ourselves in His hands, is not difficult at all, we just have to take the shelter in the simran His sweet Name : WAHIGURU

Happiness does not depend on what you have or who you are,

it solely relies on what you think.

*Personal Note:

Though we may think, these words of Buddha are full of wisdom, but if we pay attention to them, it is basically sikhee.

Cause it says, happiness depends on what one thinks about, and as we know per Gurmat, thinking is Simran, so if we think of Wahiguru, means we do His chintan, His Simran; we are bound to get true and everlasting happiness, by getting merged in Him.

Real gentleness in a person is a great power.

The power that sees, understands, but never interferes.

Like the branch of a tree,

just touching the earth

but never taking root in it.

Never to take root in someone´s mind,

but to help...

That is gentleness....

Value of having parents.

At some instances, parents are taken in a higher position than god

as god can give you pleasure or pain,

the parents have only the best wishes for their children.

We all know, nobody is higher than God.

But it is way of telling, that parents should be loved and respected by their children.

A child may misbehave and abuse his/her parents, but the parents´ heart is so tender and full of love for their childern, that they hold no animosity towards their very own children,as for them, their children are precious and priceless gifts from the Lord.
