paapiman Posted June 2, 2015 Report Share Posted June 2, 2015 (edited) Baba Sant Raam jee was a Sehajdhari Sikh (from a Hindu family) and used to work for the government at Lahore (now in Pakistan). He was very handsome. A Muslim lady (daughter of an official) got attracted to him. She told her parents that she wanted to marry him. It was decided that he will be converted to Islam and then married to that lady. When Babajee heard about it, he ran away from that place, as he did not want to convert to Islam. Police was ordered to search for him. He was arrested in Peshawar (now in Pakistan). He was given two options - either accept the marriage or accept death. He accepted death and was martyred. His cut-off head was brought back to Lahore. The head was brought to that lady. She wanted to touch her head. Then, a miracle occurred. When she went towards the head to touch it, the head rose in the air to avoid the touch.
