Sri Ramachandra Ji or Raam ? Same or Different ?

Is Sri Rama Chandra & Rama as the name of God the same ?

My answer, they are different.

1) Bhagat Prehlaad was in Sat Yuga, one yuga before the treta yuga of Sri Rama Chandra Jee.  Bhagat Prehlaad ji chanted the name of God, Raam even before the actual treta yuga Sri Ram Chandra jee

ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦ ਪਠਾਏ ਪੜਨ ਸਾਲ ॥ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਖਾ ਬਹੁ ਲੀਏ ਬਾਲ ॥ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਕਹਾ ਪੜ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਵਸਿ ਆਲ ਜਾਲ ॥ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਟੀਆ ਲਿਖਿ ਦੇਹੁ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗਪਾਲ ॥੧॥ ਨਹੀ ਛੋਡਉ ਰੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ॥ ਮੇਰੋ ਅਉਰ ਪੜ੍ਹ੍ਹਨ ਸਿਉ ਨਹੀ ਕਾਮੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਸੰਡੈ ਮਰਕੈ ਕਹਿਓ ਜਾਇ ॥ ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦ ਬੁਲਾਏ ਬੇਗਿ ਧਾਇ ॥ ਤੂ ਰਾਮ ਕਹਨ ਕੀ ਛੋਡੁ ਬਾਨਿ ॥ ਤੁਝੁ ਤੁਰਤੁ ਛਡਾਊ ਮੇਰੋ ਕਹਿਓ ਮਾਨਿ ॥੨॥ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਕਹਾ ਸਤਾਵਹੁ ਬਾਰ ਬਾਰ ॥ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਜਲ ਥਲ ਗਿਰਿ ਕੀਏ ਪਹਾਰ ॥ ਇਕੁ ਰਾਮੁ ਨ ਛੋਡਉ ਗੁਰਹਿ ਗਾਰਿ ॥ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਘਾਲਿ ਜਾਰਿ ਭਾਵੈ ਮਾਰਿ ਡਾਰਿ ॥੩॥ ਕਾਢਿ ਖੜਗੁ ਕੋਪਿਓ ਰਿਸਾਇ ॥ ਤੁਝ ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰੋ ਮੋਹਿ ਬਤਾਇ ॥ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਥੰਭ ਤੇ ਨਿਕਸੇ ਕੈ ਬਿਸਥਾਰ ॥ ਹਰਨਾਖਸੁ ਛੇਦਿਓ ਨਖ ਬਿਦਾਰ ॥੪॥ ਓਇ ਪਰਮ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੇਵਾਧਿ ਦੇਵ ॥ ਭਗਤਿ ਹੇਤਿ ਨਰਸਿੰਘ ਭੇਵ ॥ ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਕੋ ਲਖੈ ਨ ਪਾਰ ॥ ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦ ਉਧਾਰੇ ਅਨਿਕ ਬਾਰ ॥੫॥੪॥ {ਪੰਨਾ 1194}

So if Ram refers to Sri Ramchandra jee, how come Bhagat Ji is chanting Ramachandras name. Instead he is chanting Rama, & Gopal . These refer to names of God, not Sri Rama Chandra jee.  Thus, Rama & Sri Ramachandra jee are different.

There are crores of

• Mahadev, Shiv Ji.. thus Shivji is also not Nirankar
• Durga
• Brahma
• ...Lakshmi...thus crores of her husbands, crores vishnu
• crores of Bavan Avtar...thus Bavan is also not Nirankar
• crores of Sri Ram Chandra jee who defeated Ravanas,
• crores of Krishna who defeated Duryodhnas

Thus, there are many of these avtars in many countless ages, thus they cannot be the same as ONE RAM ...who is controlling all these many avtars.

Thats Bhagat ji Kabir sahib's poetic narration that Prahlad ji  chanted Ram and Gopal ..Will have to seek the Purans to find this out ..what i remember as a child while reading about Prahlad ji is that He was a bhagt of Vishnu ji .
