Came across this website that lists Sikh charities by different categories.  It makes it easier to find the type of charity you want to help.  For instance charities that support education, kirtan academies etc

SmartSikh.org

SmartSikh.org has been created as primarily a Directory of Sikh Charities, Societies & NGOs to help all Sikhs to know who is doing what and where. A lot of Sikhs are doing great work and a lot more want to help the society. This site intends to  help all to collaborate and channel our efforts.
So please if you know of any Sikh Charity, Society or NGO, kindly encourage them to be a part of this directory.
