Bhai Sahib is bringing his Taus with him and will be doing keertan with Taus. Bhai Avtar Singh is 10 generation Keertani dating back from hundreds of years, He sings Keertan Reetan of the Guru Arjan Dev Jee Maaharaj's era, He has had the sangat of Mahanpurakh's like Baba Nand Singh Jee Maharaj, Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh jee, Baba Jawala Singh etc., An excellent resource for present day youth to get in touch with the early/mid 20th century sikh sphere. Guest Posted May 3, 2005 Report Share Posted May 3, 2005 I went yesterday to hear bhai avtar singh ji kirtan... it was mind blowing.. he did kirtan with taus after close 50 yrs.. i got pictures as well video to share... i ll be posting pictures and video in next couple of days.. stay tuned.. Anyone who live in toronto.. this is your chance to listen to bhai sahib ji. They are here until may 22nd. Schedule are as follows: May 2nd - May 22nd doing kirtan at rivalda gurdwara from 6.30 pm - 7.30 pm May 2nd - May 8th doing kirtan at scarbrough gurdwara from 8 pm -9 pm then from May 9th- May 22nd they be doing kirtan at dixie gurdwara as well.. timings are not confirmed yet but most likely from 8 pm- 9 pm.. i ll keep you guys updated...! we got videos... just give us one week.. will put it for the sangat. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
