A cheap plug for my Bektashi friends. They have just published a book called the 'The Bektashi Pages', a translation of a poetic work from the end of the 19th century by the famous Albanian poet and nationalist.

The opening essay is an excellent introduction to the order and also has very interesting descrption of the Shia influences such as the proclomation of 'Haq Muhammed Ali'.
