Would you say therefore that the object has become possessed by an evil spirit?

I imagine this would be possible in Sikhism, as, my understanding of it is, people are said to be reincarnated as animals, plants and minerals.  An object would of course be comprised of a mineral - or minerals.

Of course, as a re-incarnated mineral, the person would not be a person, so would not have a persons awareness, so would not be able to be 'evil' in the sense we presumably both understand it.

Which would suggest that the objects in question are inhabited by some wicked conscious force.
