This is pretty disappointing to hear for Canadians.

There have long been obstacles in the path of women seeking to succeed in politics — and some female MPs are now coming forward to share their own experiences with sexually inappropriate behaviour, both on and off Parliament Hill.

Another disappointing news. Now, Patrick Brown (former opposition Leader) is in trouble.

Quote

In interviews, the women allege inappropriate behavior by the rising political figure throughout his tenure as an elected official.

One was still in high school when she says Brown, a well-known Barrie politician, asked her to perform oral sex on him.

Major disappointing news (a bit old). Punjabi MP (in Sikhi saroop) also accused of sexual harassment.

Quote

The father of a 24-year-old woman who worked for Calgary Liberal MP Darshan Kang said Kang offered a series of payments to prevent her from sharing harassment allegations with her parents.

I find quote from jagmeet singh pretty troubling on this

He said- Presumption of innocence is for the courts to decide justifying firing of politicians over unproven allegations and justifying public pressure based on allegations. IMHO, if someone is accusing politicians of sexual misconduct. I believe they should be taken seriously without any question and as such those politicians should be given leave of absence and let them have day in the court. I don't think they should be fired as if those allegations deemed to be untrue and their whole political career is gone in dust over unfounded allegations.

That's right. In the mean time, deputies or interim leaders can handle their duties.

Also, if the allegations are deemed to be false, then the crook accusers must be punished severely, so that people think many times before making false accusations.

An investigator reportedly found Kang acted improperly by trying to enter the Ottawa hotel room of a young female staffer who worked in his constituency office in June 2017.

Look at the twist to this story.

There is an allegation (groping) against our Prime minister too.

"I've been reflecting very carefully on what I remember from that incident almost 20 years ago and again, I am ... I feel I am confident that I did not act inappropriately."
