Looks like it would destroy your ego if you go see someone who actually has real knowledge, campared to you. Thats why you dont want to see Gyani ji or Baba Ji, cause your ego would get bruised

You live in brampton so you can meet the santheya ustad at malton Bhai Surjeet Singh Ji. He is really amazing. There are many other santheya ustads in brampton as well such as Bhagat Jaswant Singh Ji etc.
Doing kojh by themselves is not bad but it is much easier to learn many concepts when a person has a vidya ustad. So please go and actually learn from somebody cause a vidya ustad can give you insight on many things.

If you think i like art of punjab, you are mistaken. His art is horrible. You are is slightly better than his, but not leaps and bounds greater.
I understand that artists are underpayed, but those artists are not having an epiphany like you, who thinks that this is your goal in life. If this was your goal in life from Vaheguru then you should be giving these paintings for free. The other artists are not saying that this is their purpose in life, you are. And thats why i have a problem.

He was sargun saroop of waheguru so it wasnt just after he went into the water that he recieved “his purpose in life”
Guru sahib was doing it from day 1
Nah, i like another artists painting more, but he too charges an arm and leg.

It seems like you don't want to respond to my message that I sent you. Your fiancé is amritdhari and you are not. You are gonna make him a patit if you don't take Amrit. Just because of your views ruin somebody else's sikhi jeevan. An amritdhari can only marry an amritdhari. If your fiancé doesn't care if your amritdhari and will marry you if you aren't amritdhari then sadly he doesn't care about guru gobind Singh Ji di sikhi.
Also do you think mata bhag kaur or mata sahib kaur were wrong for taking Amrit from only make panj pyare? Are you above these two warriors? That it's below you to take Amrit from a man?
Also nobody said nothing that being a woman is a punishment. You show where any member wrote that.

Hey satkiran if you actually did your research you would find out that the ddt Maryada was written way before 1987.
Satkiran you know your head from your ass about this type of stuff. Just stop now. You follow your version of sikhi and we will follow ours. Don't try to change us.

Why are you forcing your beliefs on somebody who has their own thinking? Your no better than the people you hate.

Mata sahib Kaur did not put the patasseh in the baata... It was mata jeet Kaur who put them in... Mata sahib Kaur came 1 year and 18 days after 1699... -

I live in toronto and I frequent a taksali gurduwara and I see bibis doing parshad seva to chaur sahib seva etc every single day. I also know of other taksali gurduwaras doing the same. This year the taksali gurduwara I frequent had a whole day sukhmani sahib reading smagam from Sri guru Granth sahib ji in the main hall for Mara sahib kaur birthday. My sister participated.
The Singhs from DDT are in a taksal(school) which doesn't have any women so all the singhs have to do the seva. That's could be possibly another reason why Singh is written all over the place.

I'll answer your original question by using an answer you aka simarjot on sikh Sangat said.
"Just because some of the rehet maryadas say 'Singhs' is not meant to discriminate or allow based on gender. It was explained to me by an SGPC Jathedar that it's used more in the same light as the word Khalsa... women and men both take Amrit, but yet the male form of the word Khalsa is used. Same as in Engligh man = mankind (women and men). "

Have you ever read dasam Granth? I bet if you did you would disregard it even though Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj wrote every word. Even the sgpc believes in it.

I have less respect for you when you make idiotic statements like the one above not because of you being a female. Guru ji respects women. There have been many Sikh warrior bibis such as Mata Sahib Kaur, Mata Bhag Kaur(Mai Bhago) who was Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji's bodyguard etc. Without a woman I would not be here today(dosent mean that a father was not needed).
I have a question for you: Do you think we all are sexist bigot who have our head up our ass? That we are backward crazy fanatics?

Do all women do injections? Nobody in India does it and no amritdhari would do it cause it is not natural. The reason for keeping our hair or not peircing our ears is to be all natural. It wouldn't be natural if women do injection or drugs etc.
I don't have a peoblem with women doing seva(excluding panj pyare seva) but dont do it when on period. I think 99 percent of amritdhari bibis would agree with me.

Most English meanings are totally different compared to their punjabi counterpart.

English translations are crap by the way. If you want to know the meaning of gurbani to the full extent than the only way is by reading them in punjabi. One of the best steeks is the faridkot Vala teeka but the punjabi is so hard that it's even hard for me to understand!
