  1. Veer Jee, you are most welcome. To make mistakes is human, but to recognize one´s faults, and regret them, is what makes one still a greater person. Today your speech is full of humanity, which is a godly quality, I am happy for you. Keep it up always. May God bless you.
  2. Karma veer Jee, what is all this rudeness? I mean, why is your speech so full of hatred, anger and intolerance? Can´t you be gentle and talk in normal tone? is that too much? If others opinions are bullshit for you, remember, you too are not perfect as seen, which means, your nonsense is also bullshit. So do not try to be smart, by showing off that you know everything. Self respect starts, by respecting others. Because, as you say and repeat: parents may have taught their children how to handle things in a sensible and a responsible way, which is quite valuable, but if they have not taught mannerisms and humanity to their children, than there is a risk, that those children get spoilt, and this shows one´s true colours, when they are grown up. You have full freedom to disagree, as each one´s level consciouss is different, each one is from a different background, etc. Myself for example, I do agree with some of your opinions, and with some others I do not, but that does not mean, that I start disrespecting you, bullying you, and talking bullshit of you. No Veer Jee, that is not the way. By being good and humble one may go a long way ahead, otherwise one may find an accident and finish before one´s expectations. Being good, costs nothing and is the base of a human being; being hard and arrogant, just creates disharmony... Sat Sree Akal.

  5. "A STORY" A Wealthy Man Was Walking, Along The Way, He Saw A Beggar On The Sidewalk. The Rich Man Looked Kindly On The Beggar And Asked, "How Did You Become A Beggar?." The Beggar Says. " Sir I've Been Looking And Applying For Jobs For Over A Year, But Haven't Found Any.".. "You Look Like A Rich Man Sir, If You'll Give Me A Job, I'll Appreciate And Stop Begging". The Rich Man Smiled And Said, "I Want To Help You, But I Won't Give You A Job. I'll Do Something Much Better. I Will Make You My Business Partner. Let's Start A Business Together." The Beggar Blinked Hard. He Could Not Understand What The Older Man Was Saying. "What Do You Mean, Sir?." "I Own A Rice Plantation. You Could Sell My Rice In The Market. I Will Provide You The Sacks Of Rice. I Will Pay The Rent For The Market Stall. I Will Even Give You Food Allowance For The Next 30 Days. All You Have To Do Is Sell My Rice. At The End Of Each Month, As Business Partners, We Will Share The Profits." Tears Of Joy Rolled Down The Beggars Cheeks. "Oh Sir", He Said, "You're A Gift From Heaven. You're The Answer To My Prayers. Thank You, Thank You !." He Then Paused And Said, "Sir, How Will We Divide The Profits? Do I Keep 10% And Give You 90%? Or Do I Retain 5% And Give You 95%?..I Will Be Happy With Any Arrangement We Agree Upon." The Rich Man Shook His Head And Chuckled. "No, I Want You To Give Me The 10% Of The Profits, And You Keep The 90%." For A Moment The Beggar Could Not Speak. When He Tried To Speak, It Was Gibberish. "Uh, Gee, Uh Wow.., I Mean Hug..?" He Couldn't Believe His Ears. The Deal Was Too Preposterous. The Rich Man Laughed More Loudly, Then Explained, "I Don't Need The Money, My Friend. I'm Already Wealthy Beyond What You Can Ever Imagine. I Want You To Give Me 10% Of The Profits, So You Grow In Faithfulness And Gratitude." The Beggar Knelt Down Before His Benefactor And Said, " Yes Sir, I Will Do As You Say. Even Now, I'm So Grateful For What You've Done For Me." And So They Commenced Their Partnership. As The Business Grew, The Beggar Forgot Where The Blessing Came From.. Each Day, The Beggar, Now Dressed Better, Operated A Store Selling Rice In The Market. He Worked very Hard. He Woke Up Early Each Morning And Slept Late At Night. The Sales Were Brisk Because The Rice Was Of Good Quality. After 30 Days Into It, The Profits Were Astounding. As The Ex-Beggar Was Counting The Money, And Liking The Feel Of Money In His Hands, An Idea Stuck His Mind. He Told Himself, "Gee, Why Should I Give 10% To My Business Partner?, I Didn't See Him The Whole Month ! I Have Been The One Working From Morning Into Night For This Venture. I Did All The Work. I Deserve 100% Profits!." The Next Morning The Rich Man Came Knocking On His Door To Collect His 10% Share Of The Profits. The Ex-Beggar Opened The Door And Said, “You Don't Deserve The 10%. I Worked Hard For This. I Think I Deserve All Of It!”, And He Slammed The Door. If You Were His Business Partner, How Would You Feel? Dear, This Is Exactly What Happens To Us… God Gave Us Everything, God Is Our Business Partner God Gave Us Life. Every Single Moment, Every Single Breath, Every Single Second… God Gave Us Talent, Ability To Talk, To Create, To Earn Money… God Gave Us A Body, Eyes, Ears, Mouth, Hands, Feet, Heart… God Gave Us A Mind, Imagination, Emotions, Reasoning, Language.. So We Need To Give Back Our Business Partner Something In Return... In What-So-Ever Way We Can..!! And the simplest way is, to give Him some time of our day everyday, in His remeberance ....with that, He is more than satisfied.

  7. Bhai Amarjeet Singh Patiala Wale: Sachay Patshah Bhai Gurpreet Singh Ji, Shimla Wale : Gobind Gaajey, Shabad Baajey To all those who love keertan and katha, here are a couple of Keertanees, whose videos to watch are very inspiring and uplifiting to our minds. Combination of a good voice and Bani, are the ingredients, to engender love within oneself, for the Lotus Feet of Wahiguru. As the saying goes: taha Baikunth, jeha keertan tera... Waheguru.
  8. Truly blissfull... Bani blissfull.... voice blissfull...... music blissfull...... and above all, blissfull WAHEGURU !!!!
  9. The main point in this thread, is the pain due to one´s karmas .... But according to the Bani, though stated above already, some soothing words of Sachay Patshah Dhan Guru Arjun Dev Maharaj in Raag Sorath, filled with nectar , are brought in front of the sangat, for the purpose of treasuring them in our very minds and hearts, so that we may take the full advantage of them, by applying them in a practical way in our lives, not otherwise. Here they are: ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਮਰਾਥਾ Prabh Karan Kaaran Samaraathhaa प्रभ करण कारण समराथा God is Almighty, the Cause of causes. ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸਭੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਲਾਥਾ Har Simarath Sabh Dhukh Laathhaa हरि सिमरत सभु दुखु लाथा Remembering the Lord in meditation, all pains and sorrows vanish. First of all He is telling us, that we have to rely only on one Wahiguru Akal Purukh, none else, because He is the cause of all causes. Secondly, He is telling us, that, our karmas, our destiny may be dirty and heavy, but if we turn our faces towards Him, by meditating on Him, through Naam Simran, all our sorrows and pains shall be simply dissolved. This means, our karmas will not change their course nor purpose, but by putting ourselves at His Lotus Feet, through His Simran, we get His support and strength, to face them cheerfully, without any complaints, they just pass away unnoticed. This is the mahanta, the wadeeayee of Wahiguru Akal Purukh and His Naam. Guru Jee clearly tells us, do not wait for your life to get straighten by itself because of your crooked karmas, rather take shelter at His Feet, by doing His Simran, only then you can walk with your head uplifted, without getting the terrible blows of your dirty and heavy karmas, because now one is covered with the shield of His Daya Meher. Karmas will play their role, but His Daya meher will also play the role in a protective way. For that, we need not big nor plenty of words, but just one action, and that is His Simran. One just gets pleasantly amazed, and a river of bliss starts flowing within, by reading the Bani and seeing, that inspite of so much uncertainity and stress at all levels, but if one as a child just gets hold of His finger(His Simran), He our Father, only then, protects us with His presence, at each and every step of ours. What else do we need? So much Grace, so much Daya Meher is showered, and still we moorakhs, just complain, that too, when we are totally at fault... Shame on us .... Waheguru.
  10. Please Don't Assume Before Verifying.. A Woman Owned A Dog Who Was Very Faithful To The Family. She Could Trust The Dog To The Hilt, That She Felt Confident To Leave Her Baby In His Care While Going Out To Attend Her Daily Matters. On Her Return, She Always Found The Child Asleep In His Crib With The Dog Watching Over Him. One Fine Day, As Usual The Woman Left The Baby In The Care Of Her Faithful Dog To Go Out On Her Errands. On Her Return, She Discovered A Rather Nasty Scene. There Was A Total Mess Around, The Baby's Crib Was Overturned, His Nappies And Clothes Torn To Shreds And Blood Stains All Over The Nursery Room Where She Had Left The Child In Her Dog's Care. Shocked, The Woman Wailed As She Began Her Search For The Baby. Hearing Her Wails, Her Faithful Dog Emerged From Under The Bed. It Was Covered With Blood All Over, Licking His Mouth As If It Had Just Finished A Delicious Meal. The Woman Went Berserk And Assumed The Worst. Thinking That The Dog Had Devoured Her Baby, She Grabbed A Metal Pipe And Lashed The Dog To It's Death. Thereafter, She Continued Her Search For The Remains Of Her Child. Now She Beheld Another Scene Unfolding Ahead.. Close To The Bed Was Her Precious Baby Lying On The Bare Floor, Unhurt And Safe. As She Stooped Down To Grab Her Child, She Noticed The Caracas Of A Snake Torn To Pieces In What Must Have Been A Fierce Battle Between It And Her Faithful Dog, Which Was Now Lying Dead In The Middle Of The Nursery. Finally The Reality Dawned On Her And She Could Visualize What Took Place During Her Absence. The Dog Had Fought The Ravenous Snake To Protect Her Baby. It Was Too Late Now For Regrets. In Her Impatience And Anger, She Had Killed Her Faithful Dog. How Often Have We Misjudged People And Torn Them To Shreds, Either With Harsh Words Or Deeds, Before We Had Time To Evaluate The Actual Situation ?. How Many Times Have We Questioned Other People's Actions, Believing We Could Do Better In Their Shoes. This Is Called 'Sin Of Assumption' Presuming Things Our Way Without Caring To Unearth The Reality. Little Patience And Cool Thinking, Can Drastically Reduce Making Grave Lifelong Mistakes. Are You Misjudging Someone Right Now ? Think Gravely, Take Time To Get To The Whole Truth Before Reacting. Do Remember, You Cannot Truly Understand Another's Pain Unless You Yourself Experience It. No Matter How Confident You May Be On Here say. That Is The Reason That God In All His Wisdom Command's Us, "Thou Shall Not Judge". Because God Alone Is Qualified Enough To Hold That Position.
  11. To brother Raman, and to all those are going through bad periods, and to those any of us who can go through it any time without previous notification, I can only say something which I have learned from Gurmat, and that is, whatever happens in life, it is our very karma, and this karma is not thrwon upon us indiscrimately, but it is a microscopic part of our very countless earnings(karmas). So we should never ever blame anyone for it, not even to our beloved Wahiguru, to whom almost the whole world accusses, when in reality He does nothing as such, to make us feel pain or make us miserable.... how dare we do that? It is out of agyanta, man blames Him He is softer than the softest.... So as said, life is based on karmas, which we can not alterate. We know we may be poor or sick, and have no wealth, neither scope maybe, but one thing is sure, we have something which is the most valuable thing is this creation, of which, even billions of dollars or pounds can not buy even 1 gramme of it. And that is our "swaasa dee poonjee", the wealth of the number of remaining breaths we have to take yet. This precious wealth, we can waste it like that in a useless manner, or we can use it, in a useful manner to make ourselves a spiritual emeperor. Yes, yes, you are listening well, a spiritual emperor. Now, who is a spiritual emperor? Naturally, the answer is Wahiguru Akal Purukh. Here comes now the beant greatness of Wahiguru. Our destiny is only due to our karmas as said before, but by His daat of swaasa dee poonjee, we can reach the highest. For that we have to do some sort of bussiness, in which we have to give something valuable, so to get in return something valueless, means something which even gods can not give us.... So, the bussiness is, to give one breath, and in exchange purchase Nam for it, as simple as that; it is not costly nor difficult for anybody, irrespective of gender, class, health, political or economic issues.... Have we ever asked, why do we like to gather money? Mostly it is because, we want to insure our future, to live happily and with dignity. But , we tend to forget, that we are not going to live here for ever...life is short and uncertain; moreover any type of wealth accumulated here, in the end is nothing but a handful of dust, just as our very own body, which we love so much and take it as our real identity. So, if live is uncertain here, and we do not want to come back either in this valley of pain and tears, there is only one option left. And that option is, to use the wealth of our breaths, to obtain and achieve the highest, and this can only be done, if we gather the wealth of Nam with each breath, whether in walking, eating, sitting or in any other daily activity of ours, in which the attention of mind is not required much. So Sant Janas, Mahapurkhs, advise us, that while you can not change your destiny, you can change the future, which in due time wil become your destiny. And that divine change, only we can make it, nobody can do that for us, each one has to do it for himself/herself. And that divine change is possible, as assured by Gurmukhs, who are the very embodiment of Wahiguru Akal Purukh. This is the very reason, why the Bani is made and left for us humans, so that we understand ourselves, understand Him, and try to change the course of our future, by directing it to Sach Khand, His abode of eternal Truth, bliss and happiness. And all this is only possible, if only we become aware of our true nature which is spiritual, that we belong to Him, and not to world full of "koorr". Only when we become aware of this reality of ours, then only can we take the second step, which is to do something to achieve it, and that something is nothing than His Simran, as much as possible at all times, so that when we go from this world, Kal has nothing to tax, as he can only tax us on something gathered by maya, means karmas; but he can not tax us on the wealth which is far from his reach, which is the wealth of Naam. So let us now think, is not Wahiguru all Dayalu? With our efforts and inteligence, we collect dirt and dust of karmas, on the other side, with His Grace, by means of Naam Simran alone, we become a spiritual emperor like Him, by merging in Him. Is this not the best thing Wahiguru can do for us His souls, irrespective of our good or bad karmas? Why do we fail then to understand His utter Daya Meher on us? When are we going to stop blaming Him? We are moorakhs, mughads ... He is attee Sundar, attee Ooouch, Apaar, Beant, Soami. The most beautiful, the highest, beyond reach, limitless, the Lord of all. Waheguru.
  12. An illusory debate between Guru Jee, and a sober person It is so difficult to obtain this human incarnation, and without the Naam, it is all futile and useless. No, no Lord, there are more important things to do, like fighting and killing for my land, and taking revenge of my and mine .... Now, in this most fortunate season, he does not plant the seed of the Lord's Name; what will the hungry soul eat, in the world hereafter? We shall eat "baroot" which we have enough, and drink the blood made from the desire for revenge and hatred. The self-willed manmukhs are born again and again. O Nanak, such is the Lord's Will. No Lord, there are no manmukhs, we are very wise, who says we are going to die? We come here by Your will, but we shall go by ours..... that also only when we finish our duties towards our land, our people..... and if we do not finish in time, our younger brothers shall carry on with this pride..... We shall not dedicate our lives in your devotion, but we shall fight till our last breath for that what we considere ours, because we shall carry it with ourselves and there in the next world, we shall be considered heros, for these our heroic acts, which is more important for us than devoting ourselves to You... Because those who go after You only, are silly, cowards, and are on drugs .... While we, the remaining ones, are sober and very brave and smart also .... Waheguru Waheguru Waheguru
  13. It is said, that when one´s mind is relaxed during sleep, it can fly somewhere into the higher planes and forsee, it depends on one´s purity. As Veer Ragmala rightly says: ususally dreams are just desires good or bad processed, but I would add, not only desires, but somewhat pictures clicked by the mind through the sense organs, which go and get gathered in the subconsciouss mind, then they get mixed up with other pictures....and that is why we see unlogic dreams, without any sense into them, but it is like they get mixed up deep there and then form a particular size as film a and get projected during the dreams, sometimes we pay off our karmas through the dreams also. But to get direct perception of that Highest Spiritual Reality, it is better to not depend on dreams, but to do such a kamaee of bhakti, that even during sleep, one´s soul goes where one wants, which is His Lotus feet, and not where the mind takes you( in the realms of maya) without our willingness .... Waheguru.

  18. The Influence Of Gossip I cannot afford to overlook the influence that other people have on me. To what extent do I check that I am not being influenced by gossip? Negativity in the mind is like poison. Negative thoughts are the seeds of negative actions. Gossip and guessing bring sorrow, heaviness and distrust. Hear no Evil; See no Evil; Speak no evil; Think no Evil.
  19. Veer Jee, I quite agree with you on your vision about how where our dharam is heading or better said being taken. And believe me, it is a pitiful sight, which many times I have tried to bring out by making denouncement of it, but alas, our brothers and sisters are so much in this circulation force, that if one tries to remind the simple truths of the Bani, one is misinterpreted, and looked as good as a criminal. The thing is, we have lost out of sight the base of sikhee, which is Wahiguru and His devotion, and many other political, social, and cultural elements have been added and associated with the pure paviter Bani of our Guru Sahibans, thus dissoluting it. But nevertheless, I do not loose hope, and only pray by doing Ardas to Wahiguru, that may He bless each and everyone by showering His Daya Meher, so that the true understanding of His Bani may be possible, thus we may profit ourselves with the priceless gems contained in it. Waheguru.
  20. Veer Jee, you have full rights to disagree with me. I am a human being also, of course I am not perfect and can make mistakes as any other neighbour. Secondly, we are all here to contribute to clear concepts if any by giving a helpful hand, without any malice, anger or arrogance. If somebody agrees or understands, it is o.k, otherwise we can say may God bless you. Because each one has a different levels of consciuousness, of understanding, but the thing is, to be open minded, sinecre and humble. Because anger, clouds our understanding and makes us act in a haste, that we may later have to regret. Going back to my post and your disagreement ; I do not promote blind faith, neither faith based on miracles. When I said younger generations do not want blind faith and seek intelectual satisfaction, means they want logic answers. Gurmat is the most logic and perfect science(path). It is our misinterpretation, which is the cause of failures and getting disheartned. So in order to expalin them the Bani, in the correct manner, we have ourselves have to understand the Bani in the right manner and update ourselves, so that if eventually they ask us any question, we may give them satisfactory answers. Have we ever asked, why are there so many atheists, inspite of them being born in religious minded families? Not only in our community, but as well in the rest of the world? That is because, these people reason and find no logic in what they see and hear. Not that those who have blind faith in the Bani are doing anything wrong, because as said before, the Bani is a perfect science, there are no failures in the end, but yes, by understanding one can accelearte one´s progress on the path, and at the same time, be an inspiration to the younger generations. Faith is a blessing from Wahiguru in the end, so if after trying explaining gently Gurmat to anyone, and if one sees that, that person does not get you, one should not get disheartned, because it maybe, that the time for that particular soul has not come to mature yet. Moreover, it is His creation, He knows best which souls are mature to return back to Him, or which others are yet to continue here. We can never force anything on anybody, we may look outwardly same, but all of us are on different spiritual levels = spiritual maturity. That is why, we may agree or disagree on some issues, or it may take us some more time to understand . That is it. It is nobody´s fault. Having said this, I have never ever taken anybody´s words wrongly, I am a human being as said above, of course I would like that all could understand and accept the truths of the Bani, but again, that is not in our hands. If people being born in Guru Ghars, could not understand and assimilate the truths, while being in the company of the Gurmukhs, of our Guru Sahibans, of Sant Jan , who were the embodiment of the Highest Truth, Wahiguru Akal Purukh; then who are we simple moorakhs to teach or guide anybody? That should not be the attitude, but rather we sholud sing His glory and spread far and wide the scent of His infinite inmensity, and in doing so, if it touches some wadbhagee soul, it is His wadeeayee, if not, then too we loose nothing, as it is His Bhaana which prevails. In any case, He is, and should be the main picture. Sat Sree Akal

  22. As Kaliyug is moving forward, the wind of Maya is blowing harder. People of younger generations seek intelctual satisfaction, as time moves forward, children of each generation is moving more into intelctual levels, means they do not want blind faith. When we were young, we used to play with marbles or fly kites and so on, now since they are born, they are surrounded by technology, with smart phones, tablets, computers. I remeber a few years back, my cousin´s son, who was hardly 2 years, was handling an iphone like an adult, was dialing his dad´s number and sending messages, which even I can not do today, or maybe I will be able to do it after taking me some time, and these youngsters, they do everything(technology) very fast. Their sat antenas(minds) catch, grasp, grab, everything which happens in front of their eyes. So naturally, in this tech age, they want answers with sense and logic, as in this field, everything is done with the aid of science, which works, and is sustained on logic. Because that is how the sciences of this world work. In the worldly sciences, first we learn(theory) then we work on it. While in the spiritual science, first we need to work(bhajan bandagee), then only we get the knowledge or gyan. So while being in this world, we have to keep a balance, between swarth and parmarth, and explain the truths to the youngsters in a simple and a natural way, without scaring them, or trying to impose on them, because that will make them rebels, and create adverse feelings for the path. So we should talk to them as friends, because that is how they are used to, and then give them space to digest and assimilate the truths of the Bani, slowly but gradually. Sat Sree Aakal.
