one interpretation by sampardas such as damdami taksaal is that this line refers to those who claim that they are god. 'jo hum ko parmesur ucharhai, te subh narak kund mai parhai' 'those who call themselves god, will burn in deepest hell' A deeper interpretation of this line refers to each person believing that this ego is ones self. In reality thats not true it is the Atmaa which is eternal. So calling 'me' god is guru sahib saying those who dont understanding the true self which inevitably slip into the dark hell of mis-understanding and ignorance from the truth. love CE

Guru Nanak Dev Jis father is said to have descended from Raam Chandra (gurbani paath darshan - sant gurbachan singh bhindrawala), not his mata ji. I think u read a bit too much into that, mata jis brother was called kirshan and her father raam it hink. We could confirm with gurbani paath darshan!

In the case of baba ranjit singh - i suppose time will tell or gurbani 'jinaa saas giraas naa visre har nama man mant, dhan se sei nanaka pooran soee sant.' but at the end of the day anyone doing parchaar of gurmat is a plus. I think if ranjit singh knew english it would have been so much more beneficial to the panth, he's young maybe he will learn. May guru bless all his parchaaraks!

yes i would day a lot of people took amirt in a hype from people like sant jarnail singh baba mann singh. This doesnt really comments on those people but comments more on the hype if u know wot i mean? i'm being a sant basher just trying to analyse the situation.

maybe the panth cn achieve some unity from the morcha after all guru granth sahib ji is the one vital unfiying element of the panth
