  1. @Lucky or anyone else who might know this -

A lot of times you have people on this forum who say they are getting a lot of pressure in their trikuti area. For me right now, it is in the nose. Not sure if people have it in other areas of the body.

But as soon as the pressure is gone the breath is perfectly balanced.

Any idea what the reason behind this pressure is? I think I've heard someone say it has something to do with the naadi's clearing up.

It's odd because for some reason it feels like the pressure is moving down the ida, pingala, sukhmana system. It started in the trikuti but then cleared up. Now it's moving down the nose. Happens in the right, left and centre. And I physically feel something opening up while doing simran, it's like something is cracking open and then the breath starts to flow through. I believe triveni area is where this mainly happens... or in that spot in the upper nostril where the breath enters each side. After heavy saas girass it's gone.

    Let me know your questions.

I tried the passion flower yesterday and it did not have too much of an effect on the mind - apparently it's supposed to reduce stress and calm you down - but I am not stressed or anxious to begin with so I didn't notice anything. I did take melatonin as well before bed. But oddly (as mentioned in the experiences thread), I still woke up around 12-1 am.

My intent is to keep tyrosine levels where they need to be. I'm pretty sure most people these days are deficient.

I just need help setting up the right dosage amounts. I may just try taking the passion flower extract once a week

As for the filter - I am returning the one I bought and buying the zerowater. However, I am slightly concerned about one thing. As a science student I know there is a pretty big difference between pH 7 and pH 8. ZeroWater keeps the water at pH 7, but because it is essentially empty of everything, it will pick up anything it can grab onto (ie CO2) - which will bring the pH to more acidic levels. And acidic water may not be the best for you. Obviously, it's not a major issue - but I wish there was a way around it. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons though because there is essentially no contaminents in the water. I'll just need to make sure I'm getting calcium and magnesium in my diet - which is not an issue at all. The following nutrients are in tap water:

    "

    • Calcium – important in bone health and possibly cardiovascular health

    • Magnesium – important in bone and cardiovascular health

    • Sodium – an important extracellular electrolyte, lost under conditions of excess sweat
    • Copper – important in antioxidant function, iron utilization and cardiovascular health
    • Selenium – important in general antioxidant function and in the immune system
    • Potassium – important for a variety of biochemical effects (but it is usually not found in natural drinking waters at significant levels)"

^^ Most of the above are in multivitamins/can easily be consumed through diet.

@Lucky What is your diet/supplement routine?

  3. Another update from last night.

I fell asleep around 9 pm last night. The sounds wake me up every day around 12-1 am. And they get very loud. Last night was a bit rough - I couldn’t go back to sleep. But I wasn’t tired either. Completely awake. I first wasted a bit of time on my phone and didn’t really do anything. But then realized I should make the most of the time - did some saas saas for a while. I think around 5 am I started falling asleep again. That bliss feeling I described above was coming in but very intensely. Every time I noticed it, I’d immediately wake up again. It was back and forth a few times until I knocked out hard - no dreams - just very deep sleep.

During the few hours I wasn’t asleep - the white light kept flashing above. Imagine looking straight while the eyes are closed. I see a white lightbulb type light flashing around the highest point of vision.

  4. I'm not 100% sure if this has been discussed before - I am not the best at navigating through sites like this so forgive me if it has.

I recently bought a fluoride filter that also turns water more alkaline. This filter here actually https://www.amazon.com/RESTORE-Alkaline-Water-Pitcher-Long-Life/dp/B011M7AQPS

So far it seems great. The first cup I had tasted pretty bad, I'm assuming I just needed a moment to adjust. But after that it started tasting good and my body felt a lot different as well. And a few hours later my tongue started to feel sweet - the same way it does after simran. Nothing major though.

I have heard that fluoride free/alkaline water is good for clearing spiritual blockages. Does anyone know if this is true? Or does anyone know any resources that have information on this? There are a lot of hippies online that claim it but I can't seem to find anyone who knows what they're talking about.

Edit - I have also switched to fluoride free toothpaste. Avoiding it wherever I can.

Well, the vibrations being emitted by all historical Gurudwaras in India would be very strong. One just needs to be at a spiritual level (obviously very high) to be able to tune the mind to them.

It will be a lot easier for a person to tune his mind to those frequencies, if he has physically been to those places (Gurudwaras) and done intense meditation there.

    Bhul chuk maaf

I’m not going to argue this any further but this doesn’t make any logical sense to me. But I would highly suggest either speaking from personal experience or at least having some type of gurbani source. Because it seems like you’re just making this up.

In this situation, IMHO, you can follow the timings of Punjab.

    There are two options:

    • If the sunset is at 6:30 pm in Punjab, you can do your meditation or Sri Reharaas Sahib jee after that time (that is 6:30 pm GMT).
    • When it is 6:30 pm in Punjab, your time will be 1 pm GMT. Therefore, you can do meditation after that time (anytime between 1 pm GMT till sunset). Nowadays the sunset in Punjab is around 7:10 pm (1:40 pm GMT). Around that time, Paath of Sri Rehraas Sahib jee will commence at Sri Harmandar Sahib jee and other historic Gurudwaras in Punjab.

Bro are you serious right now ?? lol. Where is this info coming from? Is there a source or at least personal experience?

if that is what I think it may be, then you'll know within coming days and next few weeks.

I talked to a few local gurmukhs as well. They seemed impressed but also didn’t give me any details. Just said I need to keep going. I will let you know if anything happens. However, my schedule is tight with mcat studying but will still try to put in as much time as I can. Also had an akash type experience last night. I will post that in the other convo we started when I get a moment.

  8. I have always wanted to experience the akashic records that people talk about. I've tried looking for information online but everything I come across tends to seem like bs and a bunch of people just talking about a "feeling". Questions relating to how many lives I've been through and previous karam related questions have always been on my mind. I want to see what my history has been. I also think it might be beneficial to tap into all of the knowledge that is stored there, it might help with bhagti in one way or another.

Does anyone know how to get access to them? Can the inner sounds be used to get ourselves to those records?

  9. Just another quick update. I was hearing crickets this morning in the left ear and then it slowly turned into a high pitched frequency,

    14 hours ago, Lucky said:

The shabad starts off as very faint, but with time and simran, it gets to higher frequency/vibration and becomes anhad naad.

I'm not sure if this is the same "high frequency" mentioned above. In the right ear I was hearing some sort of cross between rainfall and a vocal mumbling (kind of like aliens mumbling). But it felt really really good - especially the side that was hearing the high pitch sound. I had to get ready and go somewhere but there was no desire to get up. I usually lose the sounds as soon as I leave my room but I could hear them while walking around the house - the TV was on in the house but the sounds were still present. I ended up losing them when I went to take a shower - the sound of the water masked the shabad. Finding the sounds during the day is still very difficult. I only hear them at night. All that happens during the day is pavan shabad. So my main two issues right now is:

    1) Not being able to hear  shabad when there are external sounds

    2) Not being able to hear shabad during the day (it's only there at night)

If I can get around these two issues I'll have a lot more freedom/time to practice.

But all I can say right now is that the high pitched sound that happened this morning was just beautiful. My entire body felt so good listening to it. I cannot imagine what it must feel like for those at deeper stages.

  10. Something odd happened this morning.

I started to notice the left side of my body was a lot cooler than the right side. Right was really warm. I put focus on the left side and the entire body went cool. When thoughts came back the body went warm again. As of now, left is cool and right is warm.

I know sooraj is right side and moon is left side. I just wasn’t sure whether the body actually feels the sensations of hot and cold when the breath is balanced. Does gurbani say anything about this?

This experience is new. I make an update if anything interesting happens.

The taste you experience here is preliminary. In a sense it's the taste of what's to come. In the same manner, you can hear some of the panj shabads early on, but they are pavan shabads because you are not in or past sehaj sunn when you hear them. The tastes of these drips are blessings and signs of encouragement from nirankaar, in the hope that you drink the real naam amrit.

In short, it's not the same rass as naam amrit or the "amrit peeevoh sada chir jeevo"  { 'drink the amrit and live forever'(elixir of life) }.  and it's not the amrit where you receive 'amrit katha' (intuitive gyaan).

I can give you a much more detailed answer involving gurbani, yoga, alchemy and even buddhism if i get a chance. But I'm gonna be busy for a while with physical trainer and doing bhagtee. (gotta work on both physical and sukham sareer with a strict regime)     However, you should beg for more because it will help you rise further.

That's good to know. Thank you as always.

That's all I needed to confirm. The longer answer would be interesting for general knowledge but no rush at all. Definitely, take care of what you need to do first.
