  2. Gyani Avtar Singh jee Badnikalanwale talks about the two types of Fear, from a different angle with analogies. Sansari Bhay Nirmal Bhay Please listen after 2.00 min: http://www.gurmatveechar.com/audios/Katha/02_Present_Day_Katha/Bhai_Avtar_Singh_%28Badni_Kalan_wale%29/Katha_Sri_Guru_Granth_Sahib_Ji/CD_05/16--Bhai.Avtar.Singh--Katha.Guru.Granth.Sahib.Ji--Ang.157%2CLine.16.mp3 Bhul chuk maaf

  4. The sakhi narrated above by Chatanga paaji, is related to Mata Desa jee (who lived during the times of Sixth Master). She received the boon of bearing 7 sons. Additionally, some people confuse her for Mata Sulakhani jee (who lived during the times of Tenth Master), which is a glitch. Please listen below for more details. http://kam1825.podbean.com/e/differences-between-mai-desa-and-mai-salakhani/ Bhul chuk maaf
  5. Dear Guests Are you 100% sure that you are affected by Black magic? Have you eliminated all possible medical reasons? Have you visited a Psychiatrist? Are you Amritdhari? If not, you will have to consume Khanday da amrit. You can also request Panj Pyaray to do Ardas for you during/after the ceremony, after you have explained them your individual situations. After that, strictly follow Rehat and do plenty of Naam Simran. Try doing jaap of the Shabads mentioned on pg.2 of the topic, below. Do not consume any meat/egg products, even if you take Amrit from Nihang Singhs Have you heard of Sampat Paath? Sampat Path can cure all types of Black magic. Please get a Sri Sampat Akhand Path done by Rehatvaan Gursikhs. Singhs at Nanaksar gurughars should be well-versed in conducting a Sri Sampat Akhand Path. There are Nanaksar Gurughars in UK. Please do get in touch with them. You can also talk to Taksali/Nihang Singhs about it. There is another version of Sri Sampat Path, which is called Tuk Tuk wala Sri Sampat Akhand Path. This type of Path takes more than 20 days to complete. Hopefully, you won't require it. One of the shabads which is used as a Sampat Shabad, for this kind of evil is as follows: ਮਃ ੫ ॥ Lastly, stay steadfast in your belief. Gurbani has cure to all obstacles, which we face in our lives. Keep firm faith (Sharda) and love (Prem) in Satguru jee and sincerely pray to him. God willing, your lives will be back on track. 8. Good point by Lucky paaji. The shabad "Maas Maas Kar Moorakh Jagray" is talking about Brahamgyan, desires, taste of tongue, exposing hypocrisy, time management, imprudence, relationships, bondage to flesh, sins, conception process, etc. This shabad has been wrongfully used to legitimize the sin of meat eating. Bhul chuk maaf
  9. Maskeen Sahib has provided historical evidence from Sri Panth Prakash. There is counter historical evidence present, against meat eating too. If we keep historical sources aside, is there any Gurbani verse which explicitly permits meat eating? If the Shabad "Maas Maas Kar Moorakh Jagray" is used to justify meat eating, then one can even rationalize cannibalism using the very same Shabad. Satguru jee proved in that shabad that there is no difference between a vegetable, animal and a human. We are all Meat (Maas). Does that mean, we can break Maryada? Bhul chuk maaf
  10. Bhai saab jee, Amir Bhandar was written by Gyani Kirpal Singh jee, best student of Vidya Martand Srimaan 108 Sant Gyani Amir Singh jee Khalsa Sato ki Gali wale. These personalities were Jathedars of Amritsari Taksal. These arths are very close (if not same) to the arths taught by Satguru jee (Tenth Master) to the Sikhs. Bhul chuk maaf
  11. The word "ਨੇਮ" is derived from a Sanskrit word "Niyam", which means rules/principles. Nitnem of Sikhs is also a Nem. Further, Tirath can refer to Naam Simran too. If someone can provide deeper insight into the word "ਬਰਤ", that would be great Based on the above, the arth of the second verse could possibly be - "Their Naam Simran, fasts and Nitnem will be wasted away." One of the arths of the above verse is as follows: Bhul chuk maaf

In the above verse, Bhagat jee is stating that Naam (tat amrit ras) is my Raja Ram Chandar jee (who was son of Raja Dasrath jee). He is implying that Naam (of the Almighty God) is above Raja Ram Chandar jee. Another interesting point (please see below), which will make sense, if one reads the entire shabad. Bhul chuk maaf
  14. Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev jee Maharaaj is the incarnation of the Almighty God, unlike Sri Ram Chandar jee, who is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Therefore, he is not Nirankaar. One of the Arths of the above verse is as follows. Who is the king of Sri Ram Chandar jee -- Akal Purakh Waheguru Bhul chuk maaf
  15. Bro, the terms "Shiv" and "Raam" are the names of Almighty God. Sri Mahadev jee (a demi-God) and Sri Ram Chandar jee (a demi-God) also share the same names. Some people worship them as the Almighty God, which is not true. From Amir Bhandar teeka, one can deduce that the above shabad was recited by Bhagat jee in a Sabha (gathering). Please have a look below. Note: Some shabads have multiple uthankas. Therefore, the uthanka which you provided might also be true. Bhul chuk maaf
  16. Singh saab, consuming meat/eggs/alcohol, etc, will increment your sins. What does naam do? Naam erases away those sins. How would you describe a person, who goes for a bath (to purify himself), then comes back and intentionally soils himself and then keeps repeating this cycle again and again? One might acquire some net benefit from reciting Gurbani in this case, but will probably end up wasting previous time in the cleansing of those sins. Please have a look at the below verses: ਕਬੀਰ ਭਾਂਗ ਮਾਛੁਲੀ ਸੁਰਾ ਪਾਨਿ ਜੋ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ ਖਾਂਹਿ ॥ Kabeer, those mortals who consume marijuana, fish and wine - no matter what pilgrimages, fasts and rituals they follow, they will all go to hell. ||233|| Even though, Bhagat jee did not specify naam simran (in the above arth), we can infer that plenty of naam simran will go to waste, if we indulge in any of the prohibited activities, mentioned above. Having said the above, one must not be deterred to read more Gurbani, just because he cannot stop himself from committing cardinal sins. Maybe one day, Satguru jee will enlighten and guide him in the right direction. Bottom line - Try to follow the Rehat and keep reading Gurbani. If you are unable to follow Rehat completely for any reason, don't stop reciting Gurbani. Keep reading Gurbani, listening to Katha/ Kirtan and performing Seva. Additionally, staying in company of Gurmukhs, can also give you the needed strength to eliminate bad habits. Bhul chuk maaf
