  1. Sikh spiritual journey starts from fear to love but not always as everyone is at different spiritual level, there are lot of factors in play for eg- previous births bhagti etc. But most often we do see these days - great tendency of sikh(learner) being stuck in fear in dualism as its also an ego trap..so transitioning to love isn't happening...all though its part of hakum, which is fine but there comes an point where these subtle tendencies are mentioned as mentioned in gurbani as caution- if act is done in total fear there is less clarity, one is less receptive to inner truth and integrity, self-awareness. Fear is intial stage where one can must overcome by love (bhau/prema-bhagti) if this isnt' happening and its been 10 years then student isn't really serious about it.

Our real nature is fearless nirvair- no hate, nirbhauo- fearlesss take no fear, give no fear as there is only ONE nothing else.

  2. No where did baba Ji stop any woman from doing seva of maharaj how that woman is making it out to be.

I guarantee in the times of akali phula Singh or other great mahan Sikhs they would not let a bibi do seva of maharaj when she has her period.

While what you saying may be quite well be true my argument or crux argument is

    a) in western countries there are innovative female products for period which deals with hygiene quite well

b.) Its not rule written on stone as its circumstantial case by case basis based on individual sharda, prem and intention.

  3. Shit stirrers are all they are.

Sikhi vich sucham di gal bahut aaundi hai. Par Jadon sikh brhamgyani di avastha tak paunchdey hai then sucham does not matter. Sant gurbachan Singh, sant baba kartar Singh, sant baba jarnail Singh, sant baba nand Singh, sant baba isher singh(both kaleran and rara sahib vale), sant baba harnam Singh Ji rampurkhere and many more Sants still kept sucham even after they have reached brhamgyani di paadvi. So did the gurus but the gurus also broke dogma.

Regarding suchum singh according to my understanding its based on Guru maharaj and bhramgyanis case by case interactions with people. I don't think its general rule for them either for or against. Its bit slippery slope if you are not careful it can turn into dogma if you loosen discipline to much then its not right either. That's why internal vivek (pure intuitive congnitive perception) is so important.

  4. I am just quoting what she said regarding death threat made by sant hari singh ji fan that has to separately investigated, according to her it was sant ji fan called the cops not them... Off course it was totally unfair what sant hari singh had to go through and put up with yelling and screaming, kids like tantrums this missionary circus show, as he didn't get a chance to speak. I don't agree with baba ji reasonings in the original video as its lack contexualization but thats separate point

  5. Men must also respect women.

Looks like thats not happening. Why don't you address this issue on community level with fellow male counter parts first then pointing out what female should do or not do.? I don't see you using same passion towards  the cause "men must also respect women"...do you really think sikh men are respecting woman as they should? Like basic human courtesy and consideration?

  6. I can guarantee those women and men questioning baba Ji are the same people who question dasam Granth Ji or ma'am airman etc.

Most likely bro, but the problem is when we make or see it as - us (Pro dasam) vs them (anti dasam granth) approach then we usually tend to miss out legitmate sound arguments from  "them" party as we fall into bias we let our bias come in before our judgement. Trick to do unbias anyalsis is to simply watch the discussion without pre conditioning or pre conceived notions on both parties just watch the discussion as simple witness hawk- eagle/baaz and go from there with clear pure perception.

  7. You scared me with this..what you mean by these words?? Isnt it wrong to co-relate your words with the statement "oh kehnde asii sirr vadd dwa ge je andar gye ta"" as given by the women in video??

Whichever person who said that as mentioned in the video- should be formally charged by police in BC for uttering death threats. This is serious stuff...should not be taken lightly.

  8. In this incident, not just women spoke and many sound arguments were also made by men as well there supporting women. I support their sound arguments and even beleive sant hari singh ji didn't explain orginal katha well or gave proper contexual answers- there were lot of grey areas its not as black and white .....however, women yelling, screaming, throwing tantrums, interrupting live divan of katha was quite childish and manmat on their part. Again giving credit where its due, sant hari singh ji randhwale showed by example on how to have gurmat discussion in quiet and calm manner.

  9. Bro, you are talking from a spiritually very high perspective, which does not apply to majority of so-called Sikhs.

    Bhul Chuk Maaf

How do you know? Sangat is Guru-roop, hidden gems resides in sangat. Lets not undermine anyone here bro. Remember sakhi of asthavakar (eight year old pupil who had eight folds in body)? How so called many religious authority hindu leaders laugh at him? when he came to resolve doubts of raja janak? How this eight year disabled boy cleared doubt of raja janak with bhramgyan dristhi breaking hankars of soo called hindu bhramin religious authority in the sabha, told them how they have cham dristhi - limited to only body not to the soul, soul is never affected by anything.

My take is - never undermine anyone just by looking at external body (cham)

  10. Yes indeed is slippery slope but same can said to mind make it external rehits into dogma, it only becomes slippery slope when mind is not introverted fully to naam where one rises above from external distinctions. Here is another message for transcendence from sri akal ustat:

    Sabh Karam Fokat Jaan
    Sabh Dharam Nehfil Maan
    Bin Ek Naam Adhar
    Sabh Karam Bharam Veechar

    Consider all actions (rituals) useless
Consider all dharmic acts (shows) fruitless
without the support of the Naam
all acts are just empty ritual or superstition

  11. If you read framework on stages - shariat (dharam khand) , tariqat (gian khand) , marfat (saram and karam khand) and hakikat (sachkhand), you will notice stages state of mind individuals. Here maharaj is advising to adapt spiritual life (inner revelation/introvertness/meditation/contemplation/control of mind) consider that as maryada of shariat (first level), tariqat (second), marfat and hakikat. Guru maharaj just re-defined external rituals here as performed in shariat to raise level of consciouness of seeker (sikh).

  12. Maryada cannot be changed according to times. It is Atal.

For example, handicap/disabled people are not allowed to be part of Punj Pyaray. One can argue that due to modern science (Prosthetics), this part of  maryada should change now.

Khalsa jee, stick to the original maryada, as made by Satguru jee. Never ever doubt Satguru jee, as he is the greatest scientist.

Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Nanak dev jee Maharaaj.

    Bhul Chuk Maaf.

Not really something cannot be changed, but rest are subjected to individual spiritual development stages, transcendence. Gurbani message trumphs all, tell sant hari singh randhawale to explain this framework:

All though originally updesh given to sharia panthi muslim of that time but gurbani is meant for everyone including off course sikhs,

  13. Bro, I saw her eyebrows too. It seems that she has committed bajjar kurehit of cutting kesh. But, we could be wrong as she might have received laser hair treatment and then taken amrit. It also seems that she has an earring in her ear (piercing body parts is not allowed in Sikhism), but she could be wearing the one, which does not require piercing.

Only God knows, if she is amritdhari or not. If she is not, then she has no right to interfere in Sikh matters.

    Bhul Chuk Maaf.

    Waheguru jee kaa Khalsa

    Waheguru jee kee Fateh

Just because she plucked her eye brows does not mean she cannot have good sound argument- vahiguru exist in everyone operating mysteriously through everyone   its exactly this type of cheap shots from hard liners, people are being put off from sikhi all together.

    I stand by with her.

  14. Bro, Guru sahib would also not reject a person, who does not bath daily, but has prem and sharda. Does that mean, we should stop following the maryada of bathing everyday?

Maryada is meant for ordinary people like me. It should be followed. Once a person reaches Brahamgyan, it is a different story. Even then, Baba Budha jee Maharaaj was told to follow maryada (he had stopped doing nitnaym after Brahamgyan) by Satguru jee himself.

    Waheguru jee kaa Khalsa

    Waheguru jee kee Fateh

You do some have weight in your argument. However its just not proportionate with women with period for for following reasons-

    1. This implies women does not take bath  but in fact they do during period or off period

    2.  Due to women innovative products dealing with period, hygienic impurity issues with women during period is been reduced to almost none. So this circumstantial maryada does not apply in this day and age thanks to technology evolution.

    3. The problem is many sikhs have failed to realized - realities realities (in this case small maryada of preventing women doing seva of maharaj during their period) is subjected to change as its circumstantial based on individual jevan basis and more importantly subjected to underpinning of absolute reality of maharaj  - inner soul intention-sharda and prem- feeling so both for and against argument towards this small maryada rule cannot be used as precedence either way.
