Bhul chuk maaf
He got caught up in the politics. He was supporting Hindi as a national language and was supporting Gurdas Mann. He got backlash from Punjabi Sikhs and then decided to give up Sikhi. This was his argument.
I feel living in the glamour world, he was just looking for excuses to exit

The idea that a healthy person is muscular, flat stomach & muscular, can run fast, lift heavy weights in the gym, run 100kms on treadmills, do HIIT. Is just another idea propagated by new-age western gym rats, who spend all their time in gym.
Health has detoriated overtime, not due to lack of exercise or anything else, but bcoz of quality food and reduction in human digesting power. Office jobs are biggest to blame.
Aloo waley Parathas, Ghee, Butter, Milk, Yoghurt, Lassi... these things make a real pehalwaan. -

I agree. But I also think not doing any exercise is also a form of mental illness too. Especially when someone can look into a mirror and clearly see that their body is deteriorating and still not take some form of remedial action.
There are just way too many morbidly obese apnay walking around.
Just walk. I do that. Old age is part of life accept it. A slightly big stomach looks good, make u look u came from a well fed family.

Just noticed that the dates are wrong on the spreadsheet, it shows from Oct 1 to Nov 9. It should be from Nov 1 to Dec10.
The spreadsheet was for the first amrit vela challenge which ran from Oct 01 and will end of Nov. 9.
With the second amrit vela challenge, I decided to forego the spreadsheet, as some ppl reluctant to use sheet. Just a commitment on the poll Q, that you commit to observing amrit vela for next 40 days, if any day missed, the next day will be an extra Jap Ji Sahib path. -

We need not chant loudly all day however we have to do baikhari bani jaap atleast few minutes a day ( more initially n less at later stages) to
1. wash us off our daily maya indulgence.
2. As we chant loudly our naval automatically gets pull inside at Waahe and released at Guru... Like a yoga asan ( I think it's kapal bhaati) n release of Amrit ras gets activated.
This is correct Gurmat Way, as taught by our Guru Saab.

Plus our ancestors used hakims. I remember reading about Shaheed Sukha Singh in Panth Prakash, and Bhangu describes how after a battle he had to get his broken leg refixed by a hakim.
I share your suspicion of modern pharma, but to think that we can't get ill or have accidents....

Did you do any training to get your stamina up bro? I think light training definitely helps with recovery.
Also, I think I know the Gurdwara you're talking about. Did the head die of organ failure at King George's?
If Gurudwara heads are catching corona and dieng. This is a ***Wake-Up Call*** for us all, entire panth. It goes to show that we are far away from our True Guru and have still not or still practicing the Sikhi wrong way.

The Panj Pyare had discussed this type of thinking already with us, via a Sakhi and we are past this kind of mindset.
You are free to search for avguns in Panj. It is basically lack of faith and kal jug creating doubts.
