  1. Found the following interesting article on the Net which I thought of sharing with the Sangat here By Cosmic Healing. What experiences do yogis sense while meditating after Kundalini awakening? Generally, I don’t discuss this, as most people wouldn’t understand or believe what I say, or they might try to label me as imbalanced or mentally ill (their issue). But, since you asked… I will tell you the simplest, most basic experience that I have almost every time that I meditate. Kundalini awakened spontaneously in me 2.5 years ago. For the first year I really couldn’t meditate at all because it was too activating. There was so much energy moving in my body that I had to dance or do yoga in order to get some relief. Kundalini has since calmed. It is a kinder and gentler experience now, generally not overwhelming (except at times.) Now when I meditate, in that moment when my mind is first quiet, when I drop into awareness/total presence, I feel (and see) a horizontal expansiveness, a oneness with all there is, a tapping into a collective consciousness. And it always makes me laugh! It’s like the cosmic joke is that I believed for a time (yet again) that I was separate. So when I tap back into the oneness I realize that I was fooled again! I see this as the never ending 3D to 5D toggle. And I guess I can’t stay in 5D because I have a body. So back and forth I go, and thank goodness, with a laugh. I don’t know if this is helpful in any way, but this is what I experience

  4. All practices, that aim in one way or the other, at changing the state of consciousness of one’s being, must eventually be left behind for the natural state of awareness to be recognized. Contrary to popular belief, enlightenment is not an altered state of consciousness. It is the natural state. But since most people that start the spiritual journey are still in ego consciousness, they naturally feel that enlightenment must be a continuous state of bliss in consciousness. That is natural, I had the same thinking at first. That includes the awakening of chakras. It can and must be used along the journey. But at some point when you arrive in your natural state, these practices will create dreaming instead of helping you become dream-less. That is because consciousness itself is changing, you cannot except it to be manipulated through an experience. Even the most beautiful God experiences! :) Instead, find in yourself that which is unchanging.
  5. Amazing fact The Sun is not made of fire, its energy comes from the nuclear fusion that occurs in its core, where the temperature exceeds 15 million degrees and the pressure is immense. It fuses hydrogen atoms into helium, releasing energy in the form of light and heat in the process. Every second it converts 600 million tons of hydrogen into 596 million tons of helium, and the remaining 4 million tons of matter is converted into energy, a process that will continue for the next 5 billion years.
  6. Perhaps Bro, because Sree Guru Granth Sahib by itself is the katha /vikhaya of Waheguru Akal Purukh Himself, which is the most beautiful and complete act by itself.. And, who says, the treasure in IT has no meanings? Everything is there in SGGS, it is only that we do not pay attention to what is said. It is like we are more busy in looking a prescription all the time, rather than after reading and looking at the prescription to intake the medicine in the box, By seeing that others are also doing that, we tend to think that, that is fine enough to recover back our health, but tragically our end reaches us, thus then we have no time to take the medicine, and we go away sick. Nobody has ever got cured by just reading a prescription, nor will anyone ever. For the curing power is in the medicine only. The medicine is the remedy for the sickness, no medicine, no cure, but for sure more pain and discomfort.

Putin joke Putin dies and goes to hell, but after a while, he is given a day off for good behavior. So he goes to Moscow, enters a bar, orders a drink, and asks the bartender: -Is Crimea ours? -Yes, it is. -And the Donbas? -Also ours. -And Kyiv? -We got that too. Satisfied, Putin drinks, and asks: -Thanks, how much do I owe you? -5 euros.
  8. Not sure who wrote this, but it’s deep ”Every minute someone leaves this world behind. We are all in “the line” without knowing it. We never know how many people are before us. We can not move to the back of the line. We can not step out of the line. We can not avoid the line. So while we wait in line - Make moments count. Make priorities. Make the time. Make your gifts known. Make a nobody feel like a somebody. Make your voice heard. Make the small things big. Make someone smile. Make the change. Make love. Make up. Make peace. Make sure to tell your people they are loved. Make sure to have no regrets. Make sure you are ready.” ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  9. Verily true. To learn to run, one first has to learn to walk. In a simliar way, through Gurbani we come to know the value, the supreme importance and mahima of Naam, which is the real, eternal and changeless form of Waheguru Akal Purukh, then only we can move to merge in IT. The following Shabad of Sree Guru Arjun Dev Maharaj is a clear picture of the statement above. Kan Binaa Jaisae Thhothhar Thukhaa || As the husk is empty without the grain, Naam Bihoon Soonae Sae Mukhaa ||1|| So is the mouth empty without the Naam, the Name of the Lord. Har Har Naam Japahu Nith Praanee || O mortal, chant continually the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. Naam Bihoon Dhhrig Dhaeh Bigaanee ||1|| Rehaao || Without the Naam, cursed is the body, which shall be taken back by Death. Naam Binaa Naahee Mukh Bhaag || When my tongue chants the Name of the Lord, Har, Haree. Bharath Bihoon Kehaa Sohaag ||2|| Without the Husband, where is the marriage? Naam Bisaar Lagai An Suaae || Forgetting the Naam, and attached to other tastes, Thaa Kee Aas N Poojai Kaae ||3|| No desires are fulfilled. Kar Kirapaa Prabh Apanee Dhaath || O God, grant Your Grace, and give me this gift. Naanak Naam Japai Dhin Raath ||4||65||134|| Please, let Nanak chant Your Name, day and night. ||4||65||134||
  10. Nice thread Jee, The question you are asking is utmost precious and beautiful, for it is asking about the description of the Creator Himself. Though any amount of description through words of that Primal Being Nam/Satnam would be very poor, but in my humble and limited perspective, I would say that: Gupt Nam, is that creative Power of all that exists whether seen or unseen at our level, and which is the only changeless Truth since Aad Jugaad in its original form there in Sach Khand. And Pargat Nam, is when you manifest that Nam within you, when one can see its refulgence and listen its divine enrapturing melodies .... all that within onself. Now, how to pargat that Nam within us? Well, Sree Guru Amar Das Maharaj, reveals us the secret about it when He openly tells us in Anand Sahib: ਨਾਮੁ ਜਿਨ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਵਾਜੇ ਸਬਦ ਘਨੇਰੇ ॥ Naam Jin Kai Man Vasiaa Vaajae Sabadh Ghanaerae || नामु जिन कै मनि वसिआ वाजे सबद घनेरे ॥ The divine melody of the Shabad vibrates for those, within whose minds the Naam abides. *He says, when one succeeds in the concentration of the Nam/e Waheguru by its continous repetition in the mind, then that Nam becomes manifest within us, and we can see the Jot and listen the Shabad Dhun or Anhad Naad / Naam, within us, that too not with our petty efforts, but by His kirpa/Mercy alone. That is why in other verses of Anand Sahib, Guru Jee tells us: ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਜਿਨ ਨਾਮਿ ਲਾਇਹਿ ਸਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਵਹੇ ॥ Kar Kirapaa Jin Naam Laaeihi S Har Har Sadhaa Dhhiaavehae || करि किरपा जिन नामि लाइहि सि हरि हरि सदा धिआवहे ॥ In Your Mercy, when You attach them to the Naam; then only they meditate forever on the Lord, Har, Har. Hope, your doubt is cleared to some extent. SSA.
  11. SSA brother Gurjantgnostic. I am afraid that when something is written and not said the same to someone, things get mixed, and sometimes the point of view expressed is not taken as its initial purpose, and then instead to get clarity, it is seen as something totally the opposite, that too when it shouldn't be so. I have read your posts usually regularly, and you do have my respect as I see you most of the time fair and impartial in those posts. I do not want to continue writing or answering you in order to make the situation senseless, so better I put my foot down rather then go on discussing. I am sure if we had a conversation face to face, the so called differences would not exist, because i know you are fair and so am I. Let's leave things as they are and continue having positive vibes, at least I think so. Only one more thing, from your posts above, I feel you have some emotional wounds, so just keep away from the negative /narcissistic people, whosoever they may be, in order to recover peace and tranquility as soon possible for the sake of health. People now and then will try to provoke with their ego, their ignorance, their bullying attitude, but, how wisely we react to them, not giving them what they want, is more important to safeguard our peace of mind. Best of luck bro. SSA.
