OMG i cant bleev this is still going on! since so many people seems to accept many Sants words as final in most things in life I thot i would add something from Sant Naranjan Singh Ji (shirmoni Kathakar). This is from his book "Diving Mystic Reflections On Gurmat..." In Malaysia, someone questioned me on a controversial topic, that is, should meat be used for human consumption; and what does Guru Ji say regardingthe topic? I replied that Guru Ji has repeatedly told us never to get ourselves involved in this controversial subject as to whether it should be eaten or not. Guru Ji has admonished us against quarelling over this issue or to make a big issue out of it. In his own words: The fools quarrel over flesh, flesh and know not Gods gnosis and meditation. They know not what is called flesh, nor what the green is or, in what does sin consist. Guru ji questioned why do we place such importance on this topic of meat eating; should we not set our quest on why the Sat (truth) could not be found by us? Why do we strive to learn its secret? anyone with half a clue could take that article apart bit by bit. I liked the part where he said guru gobind singh ji said nihangs would be..... people just make up so much stuff. that article is a load of bullsh*t, ashame ppl with such little knowledge are consideres panthic scholars!

my dad was telling me abuot that. He said that when ppl would do an ardaas which was answered they would get a statue of the devi/devta from the faction which they belonged and place it around the sorawar, each one facing harminder sahib. All the ppl were very proud to see the devi devta facing harminder sahib and also doing satkar of Guru Granth Sahib ji. One day without any warning the akalis took all the statues and throw them out round the back. Ppl were distraught to see something which pleased them so much ( devi devta doing satkar of haminder sahib) destroyed in such a manor. I was told in panjabi so english translation isnt gonna be 100% accurate but basically a large group of people got together where the akalis (political party not to be confised with akali nihang singhs) were destroying the statues and one man placed a curse on the akalis and predicted that in the same way u are throwing the devta to the trash in the same way u will be treated in the future and ur party will be in shatters. From what i see they aint doing to great at the moment anyway.

Akaaa, whats the blue light that appears in some of the pictures of bonfire. I got a few pics with stange figures who are there, but yet not there. A guy at camp had picture where there was a figure who stood about a foot and half above everone else. the picture was amazing, we were gonna get it uploaded onto the projector but the guys camera battery died right after he showed it to us.

I;ve not been able to find Charitropakhyan anywhere on the net. both dridasam.org and searchgurbani.com have only chaupai sahib da path after shastar nam mala instead of the 7555 verses. anyone know if its on the net?
