  3. When meditating, you medititate on the naam. You are worshipping the formless. But does the formless have a form. Like in Jaap Sahib, guru Sahib bows down to Akaal Purukh 1100 times, and states he has many forms, and is so many forms, but is still 1 form. How do you meditate on the formless form and still keep your mind from wondering? Just a question that arose in my mind Light Mit

  5. Thank you all once again! Sorry to be doing your heads in about all this! I don’t do murti pooja now, I do my nitnem, and after that I read my shiv chalisa after that. I did do murti pooja loooong time ago, but my heart got attached to bani, so I started to do my nitnem. Thank you all again for your help and guidance, God Bless Mit
  6. Cheers for the reply! whats 'Shutkra'? sorry. Regarding the Brahm Kavach, was that read ack in times of war etc? Thanks Again light Mit
  7. I have heard something similar. This is whats confusing me. i heard that 'Back in the day' alot of followers of Sri guru Hargobing singh ji used to recite 'Brahm Kavach' which arouses the shakti's for Kalika (Maha Kali) and Ma Chandika (Chandi Mata). From what i have gathered, Doing Nitmen and Gur-mantar is a must, but to worship the Devta (Shiva, Mahakaal, Kalika) isnt a wrongful thing to do, so long as you remember Akal Purakh and dont to Murti Pooja. Again, i dont know if theis is heresay, but i heard that Dasam Pita Ji also did Kalika Pooja, but was againt Murti pooja. Also, At sri Hemkunt Sahib ji, there is a Laxman Mandir there, or with in its vacinity, do people who visit Sri Hemkunt Sahib Ji, go there also? is there a Murti in that Mandir? 2 years ago, we went to india, me and the mrs, and there was a guy there who was saying that at certain times maha kali has been seen doing bhakti at the same place as Dasam Pita ji and said that there has been instances there others have seen her doing matha Teekh to the Gurudwara there. Another story is about a Gurudwara in africa. There was a cleaner there who saw Dasam Pita on his horse there and actually saw Dasam Pit Ji doing Matha Teekh there. Sorry if im wrong guys! Light Mit.
  8. hmmmm! you guys are wicked! I was very confused before i joined this forum, but you guys have cleared many doubts that i had! Thank you all!! May god bless you all with Naam, Health, Wealth and happiness! Light Mit

  10. Hello all! Lately, i have been trying to get up at amrit vela (between 4 and 5 am) and when i do i feel scared for some reason. I have no reason why. At other times i feel fine. Whenever i try and do my paath, i tend to feel tired so i tend to put off doing my paath and say 'ill do it later', but later never comes. Please can somebody advise me on why this happens. I also do my sukhmani sahib, but halfway through something always happens where i need to stop and do other chores around the house. I will be honest, i have a small mandir at my house, and i havnt really set foot in it for a while. When i used to do my paath, we used to have a beautiful energy around the house and we used to get animals come around our house, and even at 3-4 am we would hear birds singing outside, but that doesnt happen anymore. I havnt taken Khande da Pahul. Please can someone help! Light Mit
  11. Shaheediyan! who's the dude in your profile Pic? Mit
  12. Sorry! But can some one tras fo me please!!??
  13. Just a question that arose in my mind. Which bhakti is higher? Meditating on Naam or reading Bani? Mit
  14. I havnt taken Amrit yet, but if i get up and do naam simran at amrit vela, do my nitnem, does my bhakti go in vain, if i havnt taken Amrit. I will be honest, there is an organisation called Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha in Leeds, whom i highly respect, but there are certain individuals there that say that if you do not take amrit, you are not a sikh. Can anyone elaborate on this for me please? Light, Mit.
  15. Anyone know where i can get this book from?
  16. Just out if interest. In sikhi, how is an excorsism performed? What paaths are undertaken? is it chandi di vaar? Light! Mit
  17. Hi guys! Sorry to be a pain but, has anyone got any news on this?????????
  18. Apparently, he has a lot of followers, but tells people tat come to see him to go home and worship 1, and 1 only. In canada, are where the majority of them are. there was 1 singh that wanted to be his chela, but babaji ji said no that he doesnt do that, accept followeras like that. he used to swear alot. Once some one went to his pora and when they entered they saw his arm in one place, his leg in the other place etc. If anybody has more info, it would be greatly aprreciated. Light Mit.
  19. Before this forum closed down for upgrading, there was a thread about a sint, in the village shokran in india, by the name of Sant Baba Dho Ghuttan Wale. Does anybody have more infor regarding the sant ji? i know people that have seen him in person, and hey said that they couldnt see into his eyes and that he was over 100 years old? people also used to say that he was Raja Sahib Ji (Jhingran Wale) . Any info would be greatly appreciated God Bless, Love and Light Mit ;-)
  20. Thanks for the response. In Kalyug, whoever treads on the path of rightousness will certainly experoence difficulties. Kaal will try to distract you from the path of rightousness and comes in many forms. Maya is the biggest. Sri uru Granth sahib ji is our living gur. If you have a Question, speak to SGGS Ji. You will get your answer. In reality, what is it thats falling apart? We come into this world on your own, and you will go alone. If your not getting materialistic gains, then you need to understand that its really just temporary. You first need to accept death and realise whjy you are on this plane? this is just a test and the more emphasis you put on what you are not gaining materialistically, will take you away from your spirituality. Although there are paaths you do, you need to keep rahit maryada. What i mean is that you need to be pure, have a clean heart and never speak bad about anyone. its hard when you step on the path of rightousness with so many materialistic gains and expectations because when you do bhakti, you should really discard all these comforts. Light Mit
  21. When you do bhakti of any sort, you will always experience difficulties in the begginning stages. when doing naam simran you will first experience your mind to wander, this being because your mind has nothing physical to rest itself upon. You need to focus on the 3rd eye, which lies inbetween your eyes browes. Once you do start doing it on a regular basis, you will see physical obsticles. For example, your mind will get distracted and you will say 'i'll do it on 5 minutes' but that 5 minutes will never come. You will also start to feel tired when you start to do your paath, and you will want to go to sleep, this is just you being test to see where your priorities lie. You will also feel angry and get annoyed at every little thing. This is your inner soul getting clensed, spiritually. Depending on your karma, the more bad you have done, that has stained your soul, the more distractions you will get. this is where you have to control your anger and your temptations. in Kaal Yug, the more you go towards naam, the more obsticles you face. The only way you can over come them is by understanding, and controlling them. Getting onto the latter stages, once you get into the routine of doing bhakti, you will feel like something is blowing in the middle of your forehead, where your 3rd eye is located. In a nut shell, your eye has been triggered basically. At the same time you will also experience 'pin-pricks- on your toes, this is also a auspicious sign. You also feel your this on your forehead. After that, you will get a sooting sensation in your stomoch when doing naam simran, these are your inner chakras that are being activated/aroused. In the latter stages, you will start seeing flashes of different sorts, Blue/White/Yellow. This is your psychic/cosmic energies coming into practise. You will then experience dreams, may be of you doing a jhakara, you may see the SGGS Ji, or even the Gurus coming into your dream and guiding you in some sort of way. What i do is, Mool Mantar - Nitnem - Naam Simran. Before i start to do anysort of bhakti i tend to do 1 mala of Chachri chand from jaap sahib. I personally feel this has helped me alot as this created a cosmic field that protects you agains any evils that may distract you anlong the the path to Hari. The most important thing is 'Ardas'. Never for get to do that. There are many learned Gursikhs on this forum that can assist also. Good Luck, Light! Mit
  22. Thatnks guys! You lot are a great insparation with your knowledge. the reason i asked was because there was a debate where a fanatic singh, not mentioning names, said that anyone who ate meat would not get mukhti and that such sikhs are not welcomed in the panth. Again, i guess this is down to a lck of understanding. thanks, God Bless and light!
  23. Hi guys! Sorry, i know there are threads open relating to this topic, But....... in sikhi, is meat eating prohibited???? Thanks Dudes and dudettes!
  24. There was someone that took a video film of a sant that also predicted the same. they said guru gobind singh ji has also predicted these explosions and wars.
  25. I heard, cant remember where from exactly, but there was a sant in a pind in india that said that Sri Guru Gobing Singh Ji will return at the end of Kaluyug in with the name of Naich Lank Avatar. He will be in Kabul. The prediction was that there will be a Massive war, and the Sikh's will be the ones that get involved and help the evil to be defeated. From there, sikhism will prevail to its fullest and that Guru Ji's Khalsa Mahima will be like a national anthem sung by the West, and it will then spread to the east.
