  1. There was a typo, I meant to say that "above trikuti...", I've also modified my original post. Thanks for bringing that into notice. If I remember correctly, somewhere in Deewans or Diary of Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji and also Sant Baba Waryam Singh Ji in his books have warned about the spirtual state of void/maha-sunn. Yes, you are right that Void is without thoughts, without karmas but still it is the greatest deceiver. Remember, Kaal Niranjin (after the creation of 3 Gods) has gone into the place which was given to him by Ek-Onkar and he made his presence felt in lower regions only in the shape of Mind. Once in Maha Sunn we're beyond the Mind, beyond the thoughts BUT still under the influence of the creator of the Mind. Maha Sunn is a plane of 'unbelievable darkness', which engulfs all Light. The soul can only get through it savely, when she connects herself with the True Master, Shabd Dhun. If the soul relies upon herself and upon her achievements and does not completeley rely upon the True Master, she will get lost in this plane. Maha-Sunn is between Daswan Davar and the first plane of Sachkhand. It (Maha-Sunn) cannot be crossed over in any case without The Help of Guru. Almost every Sant warns us about this great Void (Maha Sunn) which is the nij ghar of Kaal Niranjan. Note: This is what I've read and believe based upon the material that was provided to me by my Guru. I have NOT yet experienced anything, so I don't know if my understanding is right or wrong. But believing in Guru, I do think HE is enabling my mind to understand the right picture to some extent. e.g Say 2 persons visit same city "New York" and later wrote their experiences in 2 different articles describing the New York city. The readers of those 2 articles would get 2 versions of same "New York" city. BUT the person who has also visited "New York" would NOT get the different picture after reading the 2 articles from 2 persons. So, I might get a different idea as I've NOT visited that place yet.
  2. It would be unjustice if you just read couple of pages from Anurag Sagar as it is very important to understand the whole story of creation including the 16 Shabads (Sounds/Power/Kala) of Ek-Onkar. So, I would suggest you to read at-least anurag-sagar-EN.pdf (1) for "The Tale of Creation" from digital page 113 to 234. To the point English transaltion: https://archive.org/download/AnuragSagarOfKabir/Anurag-Sagar-Complete.pdf Very Good translation with more explanation: http://www.santmat-thetruth.de/tl_files/allgemein-content/schriften/pdf/books/anurag-sagar-en.pdf Translation (not full) with original shabads in English: Good for the sake of original shabads in Hindi: http://www.aors-dbbs.org/enter/books/pdf/anurag-sagar-1.pdf I originally read (1) Anurag Sagar around 2-3 years back. Recently got (2) and to me it seems like more detailed. Also in the Spiritual progress, above trikuti there is one place called Void/Maha-Sunn/Great-Silence and it is instructed by Sants NOT to bother with this space as this is the plane of Kal Niranjan (The plane of Void).
  3. Yes, I do agree that Mind/Kaal/Time is under the influence of Maya. It is because Maya was given the Root-Seed by Ek-Onkar. "Anurag Sagar" did help me to understand some concepts that are defined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. "Anurag Sagar by Bhagat Kabir" does have this information where Ek-Onkar provided the Root-Seed to Maya and then instructed her to goto Kaal (power created by Ek-Onkar itself) in order to continue the creation (as desired by Kaal). Here don't mix Kaal with so-called Devil/Evil, keep in mind that he is still under the Ek-Onkar but yes it (Kaal) did have free-will even though it's like dog with a chain (like we humans also have free-will). So, again my take is: The ultimate Father of this whole creation is Ek-Onkar/Hari; but in some shabads (like the one I originally posted from Bijak) Kaal is tagged as the father (as he claims in Vedas); in other words, he (kaal) is called a father and at the same time it is also mentioned that the son (jiva/root-seed) took birth first in order to dispute the claim of Kaal (in Vedas) that he is father. Therefore, we both are on same page that the ultimate Father is Ek-Onkar/Hari (Tu Mera Pita, Tuhe Mera Mata....)
  4. I don't know if I'm right or wrong but last night I was thinking the following. It seems like we all are agreeing that Son is the Mind/Kaal/Time and Wife/Mother is Maya but we've differences in naming Father. As per the 9th Shabad in Bijak, I think the Father is Kaal and not Ek-Onkar. First of all Mind does represent Kaal who does all the deeds but Mortal has to bear its results. So, Mind/Kaal/Time are one and the same thing. Secondly, even if one is talking about subjective experience then it HAS to follow the exact reverse pattern of creation. In other words, one could back to the source only if one follow the way which lead us to here. e.g God created Kaal and then Kaal created all the 3 words in the seqeuence of: Causal/Brahmund, then Astral/Aand, and eventually Physical/Pind. Now, when anyone is climbing spiritually, he/she has in the same reverse sequence of creation. So, in my thinking creation and subjective experience is the same thing with 2 different names. Thirdly, when it was mentioned that "Son/Mortal was born before father"; it was based upon the fact that the when Kaal/Mind requested Ek-Onkar to give him the seed so that he can continue creation, then Ek-Onkar created the Maya and gave her the Root-Seed; and then Ek-Onkar instructed Maya to goto Kaal and continue the creation. So, Father is the Root-Seed (Soul) which was given to Kaal/Mind (Son). In other words, father and son has same mother. In other words, Kaal created the Seed but ONLY with the help of Root-Seed; so Son (Root-Seed/Jiva) was created before Father (Kaal/Time). ਪੂਤਿ ਪਿਤਾ ਇਕੁ ਜਾਇਆ ॥ ਬਿਨੁ ਠਾਹਰ ਨਗਰੁ ਬਸਾਇਆ ॥੨॥ Ek-Onkar is SELF, HE has no start and no end and therefore it is not possible for him to have wife. Ek-Onkar is Neutral neither Positive nor Negative. At last, there are many instances in Guru Granth Sahib Ji when Ek-Onkar is referred to Khasam/Husband and the Soul is us/wife. But there are other instances where Father is said to be different like "Pavan Guru Pani Pita Mata dharat mahat" but that does not mean that Father is Pani..........I just wanted to convey that in 9th shabad of Bijak the metaphor is different and tuks you're referring to from Guru Granth Sahib Ji is different. When we are talking of the God and it's creation, then HE (Ek-Onkar) is the Father; this is the case in Guru Granth Sahib Ji that everyone is aware of. But in the lower creation in which Kaal/Mind is the creator, he is the Father and the Root-Seed is the Son within that subset. I think that Bhagat Kabir Ji in shabad 9 of Bijak is talking about the smaller subset of HIS creation and therefore Kaal/Mind/Time is the creator and Jiva/RootSeed is the Son but keep in mind the real father is the Ek-Onkar. Bhagat Kabir is warning the humans to understand that Son was born before Father implying that there is supreme entity/force called Ek-Onkar who is the real father and NOT the Kaal. Vedas talk about one God, but that is talking about the One Kaal and NOT the Ek-Onkar. So, Kabir Ji was opening the parda that Kaal is not the real-father as he got the Root-Seed from the real-father (Ek-Onkar). It seems like we all are on the same page, but sometimes the written statements don't seem to agree.
  5. dam ha boss in your translations
  6. BhagatSingh Ji I was not referring to that shabad of Bhagat Kabir Ji in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. From the metaphor/bujarat in the shabad of bhagat Kabir from Guru Granth Sahib Ji, it is clear that Father and Son have same Wife (Son took the mother as his wife); but it does not mention the other 2 things: "Father and Son have same Mother" and "Son is born before Father". To be more specific, I was talking about the Shabad number 9 from Bijak Of Kabir (which is NOT present in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji): santo bole te jag mare; anbole te kaisek bani hai, shabdahi koi na bichare; pahale janm putra ka bhayau, bap janmiya pachhe; bap put ki akai nari, i acharaj koi kachhe; dundur raja tika baithe, vishahar karai khawasi; swan bapura dharni dhakno, billi ghar me dasi; kagadkar karkud age, bail kare patwari; kahahi kabir suno ho santo, bhainse nyaw niberi; O Sants, when I speak, the world beats me. If I hold my peace, what then ? No one considers the word. The son(JIVA) took birth first : the father (KAAL) was born afterwards. Father and son have the same mother (MAYA) : who can solve this wonder. The rat (MIND) is installed as king with royal tilak : the snake (Pride) is his minister at his right hand. The wretched dog (CONSCIOUNESS) is seneschal, the cat (WIsdom) is servant in the palace. The black crow blackened (VEDAS AND OTHER SCRIPTURES) paper before him: the bullock (THOSE WHO INSTRUCT IN CEREMONIAL LAWS) was made Court clerk. Says Kabir, Listen O Sants; the buffalo is set to administer justice. So, as per the metaphor I was reading: Jiva/Soul is Son; Kaal/Mind (Creator) Brahma is Father; Mother and Wife is Maya. e.g In Guru Granth Sahib Ji I could not find specific shabads but the nearest I could find is: ਪੂਤਿ ਪਿਤਾ ਇਕੁ ਜਾਇਆ ॥ ਬਿਨੁ ਠਾਹਰ ਨਗਰੁ ਬਸਾਇਆ ॥੨॥ At last, I'm a child and a child could interpret things which are meant for different meaning. E.g The defination of toy could be different for different persons: * For a Child: Something to play with and also to quarrel with fellow children because they want to possess it. * For an Parent: Something purchased from shop and given to children for playing purposes to make them happy. * For an Sale-man: Something he could sell to parents and/or children and get the money. * For an Toy Factory worker: Something created with plastic and then moulded into desired shape and eventually putting cool colors. * For an Plastic Factory Worker: Just a piece of any of a wide range of synthetic or semi-synthetic organic solids that are moldable. * Supplier of Raw Material For Plastic Factory: Nothing more than the earth/mithi because plastic could be derived from plant based material (reducable to Earth), or animal based material (again reducable to Earth), or petrochemicals (again Earth). So, same shabad could have multiple meanings based upon the level of Consciouness of the person reading it.
  7. Kaal is different in different scenarios. His official name is: Kaal Niranjan Kaal is Iblis/Devil (Getting boons from Ek-Onkar; he also has free-will that he used to create the cycle of 84 lakh jonis). He does the wrong things but the results of his bad deeds (using his free-will) are loaded onto jivas. Kaal is Mind (because it is the Mind who forces us to do bad things: Kaam, Krodh, Lob, Moh, Anhankar) but yet Jiva has to suffer) Kaal is DharamRaj (because he is the stepped-down energy/power of Kaal; who this universe is like Hologram. Every part of a hologram contains the image of the whole object. In other words, Dharamraj represents the Kaal as like Kaal who created these karmas, dharamraj does the justice based upon one's karma.) Kaal is Time (because in reality (Ek-Onkar) there is no time; it is just the creation of Kaal.) ALL Quick healing comes from Kaal, be it acupressure or mudra or spiritual healing or western-medicine or any other known therapy. Kaal is also called Death. I've learnt one thing that: Do NOT get lost in who is what and what are its different meanings because going that route would create lot of problems for us. Just do simran. I'm including here one of the question that was asked to Sant Kirpal Singh (taken from Spiritual Gems) and I think it does explain the Kaal perfectly: QUESTION: A good man once spoke to me about the devil being an angel who has rebelled against God. Can this be true? THE MASTER: That is metaphorically speaking. There are two powers. One is the Highest Power which is the Creator of all. Then, at a lower level, the Negative Power is made; that is always going into expression for the purpose of formation of the world. That is Brahm; it is made for that. So there is nothing devilish... Kabir says, God created two powers, Negative and Positive. Positive has its own work and Negative is going into expression. One goes in toward the Source, the other recedes outward. So truly speaking, there is no Satan, only those Powers are created Kal and Akal, Negative and Positive. They each have their own work Those under the command of the Negative Power, they always like to go out into expression. And those who want to come back again to their Home, naturally they follow the Positive way. That is given through the Saints: Contact with God into expression, called Naam or Word, which has got two manifestations, Light and Sound. When you are contacted with that, it will take you direct to the Source from where it emanated: the true Home of our Father. So there is no antagonism, but that [Negative Power] is made for the purpose of Creation; because He had to make the Creation. If you light a candle, the flame will go up because the Source of light is the sun. If you invert it, even then the flame till go up, because the source is above. If you throw a clod of earth into the air, however forcefully you may send it, again it will come to the earth because the source of the clod is beneath. Similarly, mind is negative in its affect. It is always working to take you into expression. But the soul is of the Positive side, it wants to take you up to its own source. When soul is freed from the mind, that goes to God. So mind is made the purpose of keeping the world going. Without mind, the world could not go on. Kal and Akal both are expressions of the Absolute . . The Absolute is from where they all come. This is an intricate question, of course, but it can be understood this way.
  8. Kaal is not Kalyug. Kaal is the Time and all yugs (Satyug/Treta/Duvapar/Kalyug) exist because of Kaal/Time. If you want to compare Kaal with some entity then the nearest one (with stepped-down energy) is Yamraj/Dharamraja. In other words, Yamraj/Dharamraja represent the Kaal because it punishes/rewards the people as per their deeds.
  9. No, I wasn't referring to the above mentioned shabad, I was reading Bijak of Kabir that day and I think there was couple of places where it was mentioned. In Guru Granth Sahib Ji, I could find the following only: ਪੂਤਿ ਪਿਤਾ ਇਕੁ ਜਾਇਆ ॥ ਬਿਨੁ ਠਾਹਰ ਨਗਰੁ ਬਸਾਇਆ ॥੨॥
  10. These things could be seen in the following works of Kabir: Anurag Sagar and Bijak Of Kabir
  11. Perfectly explained by Mekhane'ch Jannat Jiva is Son; Brahma is Father; Mother and Wife is Maya. When I first read it, I didn't have a clue. It's only after I read the details, I was able to understand.
  12. A husband frantically calls hotel management from his hotel room, "Please come fast I'm having an argument with my wife and she says she will jump out the window of your hotel". . The manager responded, "Sir that's a personal matter. . Husband: "The window won't open! That's a maintenance matter !" -- -------------------- A little boy asked his father, "Daddy, how much does it cost to get married?" And the father replied, "I don't know, son, I'm still paying for it." --------------------- One night a man walks into a bar looking sad. The bartender asks the man what he wants. The man says “Oh just a beer”. The bartender asked the man “Whats wrong, why are you so down today?”. The man said “My wife and I got into a fight, and she said she wouldn't talk to me for a month”. The bartender said “So whats wrong with that”? The man said “Well the month is up tonight”. --------------------------- Two husbands were having a conversation, First guy (proudly): "My wife's an angel!" Second guy: "You're lucky, mine's still alive." ----------------------------------- A couple came upon a wishing well. The husband leaned over, made a wish and threw in a penny. The wife made a wish too, but she leaned over too much, fell into the well, and drowned. The husband was stunned for a moment but then smiled, "It really works!" --------------------- A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment. The next week the man realized that he would need his wife to wake him at 5.00 am for an early morning business flight to Chicago. Not wanting to be the first to break the silence, he finally wrote on a piece of paper, "Please wake me at 5.00 am." The next morning the man woke up, only to discover it was 9.00am, and that he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't woken him when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed ... it said... "It is 5.00am; wake up." ----------------- A married couple went out to a nice restaurant to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. While driving home the wife saw a tear coming from her husband’s eye. “Are you happy that we have spent 50 splendid years together?” she said. He said, “No. I was just thinking about our wedding and how your father threatened me with a shotgun that if I didn’t marry you right then he would have me thrown in prison for 50 years. Tomorrow I could have been free!” --------------------------- Husband- "tere baap ki jaley par namak chidakne ki adat gayi nahi?" Wife- kyo kya hua? Husband- aaj fir se puch raha tha "Meri beti se shadi karke kush to ho na? ------------------------ A couple was having dinner at a fancy restaurant. As the food was served, the husband said, "the food looks delicious, let's eat." Wife: honey.....you say prayer before eating at home. Husband: that's at home sweetheart......here the chef knows how to cook!! ------------------------------------ Best Slogan on a MAN's T-Shirt : "Please Do Not Disturb me, I am Married and already very Disturbed..." ------------------------------ Man : Sir, my wife is missing. Postman : Yeh post office hai, Police station nahi. Man: Oh sorry . . . . . . . . Sala khushi ke mare kaha jaau, samajh me nahi aa raha !!! ---------------------------------------------------
  13. now, three is another twist that I originally forgot to mention in the original post, come on everyone give it a try. Son is born before Father
  14. Can anyone find the hidden meaning behind the following lines: Son is born before Father. Father and Son have same Mother. Father and Son have same Wife. Find who is "Father", "Son", "Mother", and "Wife".
  15. May I ask why it is not possible in Sikhi? After-all Sikhi also says that we do have free-will and we do use our free-will to do actions even though previous karma dictate the free-will to some extent. Also keep in mind that Sikhi is a religion/school where we have to study in order to be One with God. Subjects/Study is same in all religions but the way might be different. If you don't like the idea of Kaal being an Evil entity; that's fine......believe in what you're thinking and continue the journey towards God. Assuming Kaal as an entity or not does not (and should not) create any problem in your destination. In other words, it does not matter if Kaal is entity or not, what does matter is: We have to merge with our Source. Period.
  16. It's also interesting to note that: The Whirling Dervish (started by Rumi) rotates with Right-Hand towards the Sky to receive God's good forces and then Left-Hand towards the earth distributing the God's blessing to everyone. They rotate in counter-clockwise direction (Right to Left) because all nature moves in counter-clockwise direction. I'm still trying to understand where one needs to gaze: towards Right or Left hand. I'm looking for authentic sources and not just search from google. if you happen to know please share. Everything in this creation is spinning counter-clockwise, from our atoms and the electrons that spin around the nucleus to the earth which spins around itself and moves counter-clockwise around the sun. Traditionally races and merry-go rounds were run in counter-clockwise direction. It has been noticed that Clockwise running tires people, especially children easily. It is known that moving in counter-clockwise direction would speed-up one’s chakras. There are number of things in many cultures which would instruct to do certain things with Right vs Left hand. E.g It is said to receive the donation/gift by Right hand and give the donation by Left hand. It is because Right hand is receiver and Left is giver. Keep in mind that the above mentioned things did NOT mean that we should start doing things in Right vs Left hand; it was just for the information. If some information could be utilized for the betterment for the health and/or spiritual progress then it doesn't hurt.
  17. Again excellent explanation of some metaphors of Bible. Let me add the following: The sign and symbol of the ancient physician was the Caduceus and this is not just some symbol of healing. It is the cryptic design that does represent the energy patterns of HIS work in the man. Now if we understand the micro then we can easily understand HIS macro. The wings of the Caduceus represent the two hemispheres of the brain. The knob in the center is the pineal body. The upright center staff is the path of the finer energy which produced the center portion of the brain, noted by the rings and the spinal cord below it. The staff in the center portrays the hearth fire and the chimney, down which 'Santa Claus' descends and through which he returns to the Fountain of Energy above, after having distributed or deposited the gifts from the Source. Those who can understand this will realize that it is the secret of the stepped-down Sound Current of Spiritual Energy also known as "THE WORD" from higher regions, lost in matter and physical generation. These days’ translations have reduced Santa Claus to the status of some old man giving gifts to kids and that leads people to say there is no Santa Claus (which is right as well as wrong). The two serpents represent the Mind Principle in its dual aspect. The fiery breath of the Sun/Pingala/Yang is the positive pole as the vital energy on the right side of the body. On the left side of the body flows the cooling energy of the Moon/Ida/Yin essence of Nature. These two currents cross over in each oval cavity of the body and change their polarity. Thus they flow in and out of each other constantly and produce alternating currents in their action. The area where these currents cross each other are called Chakras. The last open loop and that lower part of the staff is the Cauda Equina, the 'Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil'. It is situated at the end of the spinal cord proper, below the second lumbar vertebra. Basically, there are three types of tree mentioned in Bible which relate to the central nervous system and the autonomic nervous systems. They function as the three qualities of mind and fine material energy in the body: Tree of Life: As the central nervous system is the intelligent or Sattvic impulse created as the first creation (Causal plane), the Source and Centre of things, the super-conscious state of mind patterns. It is the Positive pole in brain Cerebrospinal as the intelligent pulse. Tree of Food and Nourishment: As the parasympathetic nervous system is the emotional, restless active preservative impulse – Rajas, created in the second creation (Astral plane). Rajas, good for food and nourishment, is the field of general action and service. It is the activity of the conscious mind. It is the emotional, restless, active, preservative impulse. Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil: As the sympathetic nervous system, Tamas or the earth-bound mind, the blind expression of the force of crystallization, the generative, driving power. This concerns the vital forces in the body, in the pelvis. It is the un-intelligent pole of impulse on the other end of the nervous system and spinal column. If someone is interested in really good translation of Bible, then I would refer this book “The Mystic Bible by Dr. Randolph Stone”: http://www.amazon.com/The-mystic-Bible-Randolph-Stone/dp/B0007ATOY6
  18. I must admit that I do regret starting this topic. My intention was to share the LYRICS of the songs which sounded good at-least to me.....like "Akhiyan: Those eyes are different who can see you"; "Sun Sajna: A song devoted to your Guru". That's how I was enjoying the songs. But I forgot that people don't enjoy lyrics and/or feeling anymore and I should be careful in future.
  19. It's again an example of what we read will be perceived differently (by every man) than it really is, and differently than it was intended to be perceived. My thinking is: We CAN OR CANNOT blame the devil (kaal) for our sufferings because of the following: We canNOT blame Kaal/Devil because 'True God' came to Earth and gave HIS teaching using which we can go back to our Source. From HIS teachings, we know that "We have to endure everything [Raab da bana mitha manna] and utilize our free-will towards HIM". At the same time, we also choose to blame the Kaal for all of our sufferings because: Normally we say that we suffer because of our own karmas, but keep in mind the karmas are the product/creation of Kaal and NOT by "The Ek Onkar". Secondly, if karmas and free-will are the base of all of our problems, then it means that there was a time when we had zero karma and the free-will of God. In that case, who choose the bad deed which results in chain of bad deeds? It is known that Kaal released the souls in causal, astral and material world WITH the initial bad karma and that is the main cause. Even Guru Nanak Dev Ji said: "Tein ki dard na aaya....". Based upon the above, I can said that it is foolish to always blame Devil/Kaal for our problems. It's like blaming circumstances or people if we fell in a well knowing that a rope is also hanging; blaming others won't help because it is the WITH the help of Rope (Guru) that we can come out of the well. Let me correct you, Kaal is NOT the alternate power to God. Kaal is the negative power but still under the control of Waheguru/God. It's like God is at the top (Owner) and Kaal is the "Board of Director" with his Ceo, President etc. (as the means) to manage this universe. During all this, True God is present everywhere because it is the power/force using which everything (including Kaal) is working. I don't understand the problem when lot many people have problem accepting the existence of negative force (which is still under God); when we can accept the existence of Brahma/Vishnu/Shiva but why can't accept the creator of these deities.
  20. exactly dalsingh101, it is ultimately the Waheguru/God who is the creator and destroyer of everything (including Devil etc.). So, we can close the topic with: Yes, there exists some power whose work is to bound the Jeevs to lower planes; we can choose to call it Devil/Evil/Kaal/Time/Mind etc. But it is not evil-evil, as it also helps us to reach Waheguru if we choose to use it properly (our Mind) and this devil is also the product of Waheguru. What I've learnt in these years is that: None of the religion is speaking false; it's just a matter of understanding the point from different angle and therefore we should not indulge in saying that the other religion and/or person is saying false. It is also possible that we both are right as well as wrong. Unless we're Brahmgyani, any Scripture/text we read will be perceived differently (by every man) than it really is, and differently than it was intended to be perceived.
  21. Kaal is the Time OR Death OR The creator of the cycle of karma OR The creator of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiv ji OR the creator of Vedas. In Akal Ustat, Guru Ji has mentioned "Sarb Kaal" or "Maha Kaal" which means The creator of Kaal/Time/Death. In other words, the True creator is the Sarb-Kaal who even created the Kaal/Time. That's why it is said that: "EK Onkar". I would suggest you to read: "Bijak Of Kabir". "Anurag Sagar"
  22. Actually I did the OCR only for English language books and couple of Russian small booklets but NOT for Punjabi. Personally, I like the automatic book scans without taking off the binding and without even flipping the pages: Scans around 2500 per hour: http://www.treventus.com/automatic-book-scanner-scanrobot.html Not automatic: http://mini.atiz.com/ 250 pages per MINUTE; http://www.theverge.com/2012/11/20/3672206/bfs-auto-robot-book-scanner http://www.4digitalbooks.com/ http://www.i2s-digibook.com/products/digitize/automatic-book-scanner/
  23. And Panj Chor Kaam-Krodh-Lobh-Moh-Ahankaar are the various Negative Emotions of Mind (Kaal). In other words, these Panj Chores are the 5 Faults/Vikars of Mind/Kaal. Bottom line is: Devil is the Time/Kaal when we forget Waheguru.
  24. Devil/Satan as described in many religions is the power of God whose task is to create and sustain the material world. It's another name is Kaal which is with every human being in the form of Mind. In one sense the Devil/Satan/Kaal is the Evil force but at the other hand it is doing its work as given by God. There are many references in Guru Granth Sahib Ji regarding the Kaal/Time/Mind.
