Why are Sikhs surprised. Extreme brotherhood with muslims is now promoted by many sections of Sikhs

This is thing that gets me. This is a very serious subject of targetted conversions not only in the UK, but also Panjab, where thousands more have left Gurmat for Christianity, and instead of addressing the topic at hand, this hindutva rat uses it as a weapon against Sikhs.

Look at this respect for Sikhs shown by the state and it's operatives. "Why are Sikhs surprised. Extreme brotherhood with hindus is now promoted by many sections of Sikhs"

Can you show me where i promoted bjp or brotherhood with hindutva?

Where did you see any Sikhs promoting brotherhood with any islamic parties? The one link you shared here, tried to just paint those Sikhs in the UK as some kind of supporters of Islam, whereas it was nothing of the kind.

And THAT is no different from brain dead hindutvas who see any kind of political interaction between Sikhs/Khalistanis and Muslims/Kashmiris as some kind of love marriage. Your rotten thought process is NO DIFFERENT  from those around you and in control of your country.

Khalistan is not possible in present scenario but you people keep taking your begging bowl to Gora sahab and mulla sahab thinking they will help you . Gora sahab is clever he keeps you so whenever he has to put  pressure on india they ask you to bark and when they have to do business withi  india they tie you at corner. Gora sahab did not give  sikhs separate nation in 1947 . Mulla sahab did not come to help sikhs in 1984. Yet you people keep on begging to them

Now please tell me what is your plan to take khalistan. Has Nato , China , Pakistan agreed to help you

Who cares if it's possible in present scenario?? Do you think that Rosa Parks thought it was possible in the world she lived in? But it came to reality when enough people realised that it was needed.

Can you show me some link where muslims protested for Attack on Darbar sahib ,1984 riots  etc either in india or abroad. If one side just desperately want unity while other just see as potential converts and don't care then that is called being dhimmi.

Yes, and I can also show you links where Hindus congratulated the attack on Darbar Sahib. Do you want to see them?

A foundation to a good relationship is knowing where you stand with people, and having your own footing.

As peace keeping, mainly, universalists with a very centered position it easy for us to be swayed ever to slightly to our detriment in any direction.

It is easy to see when somebody's Gurmat has shifted ever so slightly to accomodating hindus, muslims, white supremacists, imperials etc.

Gurmat stands alone as it is. It corrects us and keeps us on the Path while correcting other paths.

There is no group upon which we can rely. We can rely on all groups to be semi broken versions of themselves, with confused doctrines and their own percentages of I'll people capable of anything.

Thank you. This is the essence. Lost on Hindus like kd.

Look what came crawling out the gutters. Trash. The same trash that promotes extreme brotherhood with bjp and hindutva. You and the tiranga waving trash are no different from these people you are trying to villify.

Sikh leaders outside indda and some in india see Pakistan as ally

Wow. Typical hindutva trash and typical response from you. This is not some kind of religious unity but a political alliance. And what is wrong with that? Both Sikhs and Muslims in Kashmir have had mass rape and extra-judicial killings of their people. Both peoples have suffered immensely under indian rule. So both groups joining to protest on the 15th aug is nothing that is special but the fact that both group are protesting together is suddenly anathema to you.

It is sad and shocking for the community as the school has been created and adheres to the Sikh ethos.

It's not just sad, it's an eye-opener to how these Sikh schols, once championed as a massive advantage for teaching Gurmat to children, (who, let's face it, get next to nothing from most gurdwaras and don't go) have not lived up to their expectations from the Sikh community. It's not just this school, Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton, has been taking in Sikh children and churning out athiests en masse. There is ZERO emphasis on Gurmat, a far cry from the starting point when the balance was on Gurmat with all other subjects.

This is what happens when you get trusts taking over schools and seeing them as some kind of business and career expanding vehicle.

What has happened to the Khalsa Academy school in Slough? The one in Wolverhampton is a Khalsa Academy in name only. It doesn't even deserve that label and hasn't for a long time.

Glad that you have brought it up. Let's talk about how the original custodians of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the Buddha Dal., allowed the barring of low-caste Sikhs from Darbar Sahib, and did nothing for years until the Singh Sabha forced them out. If Buddha Dal with all its shastars could let this happen, what chance to mere mortals have?

Sikhs are seeing a genocide again, but it will not be an overt one, at least not yet. India has no need to commit an overt one, they are more focused on covert genocides. The current genocide against Sikhs is coming from an infestation of rashtra lovers, who in their thousands and thousands are infestating online media platforms with all sorts of nonsense directed at Sikhs and Muslims.

    What mistake?

The mistake of thinking one enemy power subduing or destroying another enemy power is always going to be in your favour.

Nader Shah virtually destroyed Moghal power in Delhi leaving Sikhs able to make claims on Panjab. It worked out .

Native Americans helping the "white man" against other tribes in the hope that they would then possess their native american adverseries lands and hunting grounds. It was a genocide, and they have for all intents and purposes disappeared from the peoples map of the world.

How many will remain muslim throughout their lives. Nobody counts how many leave islam.

I can see you piping up everytime something comes in against islam and/or muslims. Hindutva training. Sikhs in india have left true Sikhi, for their love affair with the indian state.

In the past 3 months, ManMohan Singh has dealt with at least 5 cases of Sikh youngsters converting to Islam in the UK. Whether they stay Muslim or not, the fact is that they had no regard or love for Gurmat to even consider that step.

But only last week a high ranking police officer was labelled a Khalistani because he objected to a BJP woman breaking the law:

As long as you kiss their arse, which you KD, seem to be fond of, they will love you as they love their pet dogs. But act against them and you will see their true colours.

  11. I have started reading this book, and as with all books on partition of Panjab, it makes a VERY depressing read!

I was hoping that this book would have truly reflected the feelings of the Sikh leadership and masses, but it carries a great irritiation from the author that the Sikhs won't accept themselves to be Hindu or part of the wider hindu pantheon. She makes the odd historical mistake here and there, but takes digs at the Singh Sabha and Gurdwara Sudhar Lehars. She also quotes from some quite hideous authors to back up the india-wide assertion that Sikhs were essentially part of the hindu society until the 1880s when they came under the infuence of the British to assert themselves as a separate people. So disappointing.

How generous of the Maharashtra government to "withhold it for broader consultation" !!! The fact that they must have been planning for months before doing it, and to even think about it in the first place shows that their intentions. I'm just glad that on the one side the hazoori Sikhs have kind of woken up to the deceitful nature of the indian states and their regional and central governments. Hopeful one day the delhi sikhs will shake off their slumber as well.

  13. @jaikaara Why is this hindutva agent not saying anything about this ? He lives there in Nander, and has always pretended to be friendly to any Sikh who is against Khalistan and freedom for Panjab.

What's Balbir Singh going to do? He can't visit Nander because the Nihangs there hate him. They don't accept him as Jathedar of anything. And it doesn't surprise me. I saw a video of Balbir Singh slandering Baba Surjeet Singh and saying the most stupid things about Surjeet Singh and his beard, claiming that Surjeet Singh kept his beard like a muslim. What kind of drivel is that to come from anyones mouth, let alone a so-called jathedar of Buddha Dal?

According to Pyara Singh Padam this Bhagat Singh was the student of Kavi Dharam Singh who was a court poet of Guru Gobind Singh. And the whole Gurbilas Patshahi Chevi Granth is a book written on the basis of the katha sermons that Bhagat SIngh heard at Nankana Sahib from Bhai Mani Singh.

I've read very little from this book but I remember that I found the poetry quite beautiful. And it starts with Ik Oankaar Satgur prasaad which is quite interesting as it might indicate that it was written before Vahiguru ji ki fateh had become the standardized manglacharan.

The actual place according to the katha in Gurdwara Nanaksar, Jhang, Pakistan. This is the current condition of the historic gurdwara.

I've listened to the first part so far, and its really good.

It took me one year to listen all through the katha of Sri Gurbilas Patshahi Chhevin. I feel blessed and have learnt so much from this Granth. I cannot recommend it enough and it has proved a valuable soure for some questions I had about Sikh history.

I hope my brothers on this forum have already started their journey into the katha of this granth.
