Where was this? Also did people notice that he appeared to have an arm missing?
I am not sure about location. Thats the sad part, even with one arm missing, people were cautious to approach him.

This is so shocking, lack of self awareness, and people just frozen not knowing what to do ? How was he able to get so close ?

Loved how they added some of the anhad sounds to the background of this short film. Those that have heard these sounds will know subtly what the producers were hinting at.
Good film with a nice message, good effort !
agree about the subtle hints

Need to get to the roots to find out Truth before jumping to any conclusions.
we are all filthy, and with polluted minds but when someone in a preacher position gets these allegations, its shocking.

@paapiman I was just talking about someone regarding tea, and they said that they used to have something called desi chaa in old times, not like the commercial ones we see today. I have not personally seen desi chaa, most likely pure leaves without added color or other additives.
There were also rumors back in the day that some people were adding tannin (from leather) and other colors to commercial teas, and also some tobacco in tea. Not sure if its still done. The pure tea is def expensive, and the ones we see commercially today have color and additives. Probably thats the reason bibeki singhs started avoiding chaa, and it makes sense.

most likely, this is the case.

@AnxiousMindAnd yes, do read Charitropakhyan, it will give you an idea about a variety of characters, ranging from warriors, pure, and manipulation, that are played by men and women.
Also, Ardas does work but it won't provide you a quick solution. Right now, you are desperate. You will learn certain things with time.

There is no such thing as a pure soul. Your clarity is clouded by love tinted glasses.
40 minutes ago, AnxiousMind said:when my lovely partner decided to have a breakup- i kept showing my desperation of sticking and begging to them.
Desperation and begging will only push the other person away. You should never beg or cry to a woman, it will only turn them off.
41 minutes ago, AnxiousMind said:I want to be perfect for her
This is a wrong mindset. You can never be perfect for anyone. You should only focus on bettering yourself.
43 minutes ago, AnxiousMind said:I want to live the best married life and give the best to her. I want to give my 100 percent to create that soulmate connection because the time we were together as a couple was a blessing every second.
You sound very sincere, and you are deeply in love. But do not put her on a pedestal , and worship her. Make yourself important.

What kind of changes are you making. Please give some examples.

@AnxiousMind How old are you ?

For example. tea is a good example. Tea is used at Nanaksar (Bhog of tea is also done there), but some Bibeki Singhs are strongly against the consumption of tea. Nihang Singhs also call it "Dil Fookni".
I wonder if they did bhog of Cha during Baba Isher Singh Ji's time. Even though I drink tea sometimes , but I am not in favor of it. I did witness Chaa in langar at Nanaksar Gurdwaras. Also, when we had path done in India, they did bhog of Milk, morning and evening.

When the devi/devte do bhog of parsad, it becomes Jootha. I was told not to take the prasad as you are essentially taking their jooth.
imo. In terms of respect, it probably means that we should not do their ninda, acknowledge their kamai, and see them more as our friends/siblings rather than Khasam. Suhagans have only one khasam, that is our Guru/Nirankar.

In response to this, Giani Inderjit singh Raqbe vale, student of Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh ji Bhindrawale share there own vichar about Sukha at Hazur sahib, Starting at 4:30. I find it quite interesting that two students of Vadde Mahapurkh (both Sant Giani Mohan Singh ji and Sant Inderjit Singh Ji) have such differing views... I feel that the issue of Sukha is more subtle than we can interpret ourselves.

Indeed, that’s interesting.
The only solution is we do the kamai ourselves to see the past events or have the kamai to have partakh darshan, and ask maharaj haha .But once you have darshan, no questions shall remain.

15 minutes ago, mahanpaapi said:Right, but Maharaj Ji also says that Akal Purakh will still merge Sri Kalki Sahib into Him. I am sure you know how the Divine Leela works, a set up, wherein we read and understand things logically not spiritually.
For example, Mahharaj also says:
- Jo Hum Ko Parmeshwar Uchar Hai
- Tay Sabh Narak Kund Mah Par Hai.
- Logically what it means and mostly preached we know. On the contrary, Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj, for a devout Sikh, Guru is Parmeshar including Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj also. Here Maharaj Ji is expressing His humility for Himself, but He is also testing us and see if were are sacred of hell and won't accept Him what it is. So Baba Ji says devout Sikh will accept, treat, and call Him as Parmeshar, even at the cost of going to hell, it is game of love.
Indeed on the deepest level its all his khed. He is the one who made devte and rakshas, and put them against each other.

All the mahapurush are respectable. We need to focus on our own shortcomings and improve. I don’t want to be entangled in gossip or slander.

All the respect to Sri Kalki Avtar Sahib Ji.
But Guru Gobind Singh Ji also say that Kalki Avtar had haumai/ego, and forgot Akal Purakh…eventually he was defeated by Mir Mehdi. -

Was it Baba Gurdev Singh jee himself?
Bhul chuk maaf
Wow this is such an old thread. 13 years since 2008. Time flies man.
To answer your question, it was not Baba Gurdev Ji himself but his followers. And just go add, I have utmost respect for Baba Gurdev Ji, he has kept the maryada very well, and obviously great kamai, most likely he is staying gupt.

If you are young and healthy, I would not recommend hot showers. Personally, I have always felt nasty and hot after a hot shower. Cold showers on the other hand are so energizing. These days I use the maximum cold it can get , and its chilly. It's so refreshing, and charges your body very differently. Even after workout, I take cold shower and it actually helps tone the muscles sometimes.
If someone is weak, fragile, and elderly, and have stiffness in joints, warm showers are fine. But while you are young, reap the benefits while you can.
Showers/Bath in general are not only physically cleaning/hygienic but they also clean your water element, so its a sort of elemental cleaning. That's why after a shower, you can think more clearly before.

15 minutes ago, Still nascent said:Are you really curious on the effects of bhaang?
Ok .. this is a faint memory, i ll try to recall.
It waz abt 15-20 yrs ago while i waz in coll back home. Our city was famous for a big Mahadev temple. One day as we reached college after the private morning lesson, it waz a holiday due to Shivratri we didnt know of
We were a gang of 8 to 10 boys n gals n you know how those days are. Carefree and fun loving we all were. A few girls among the bunch offered to go to Mahadev temple as they used to do regular Monday vrats too.
So there went us all to the mandir. Mine was pure curiosity and fun drive to tk me to the high peak as had never been to that mandir before n anyway didn't want to go back home so early.Ok so as we reached the temple it was much crowded than i thot. Long lines for darshan repelled me to an extent that i offered to stand outside with the shoes of my frens. Later. we all noticed that the longer que was of "thandai" or shambhu prasad" ss the board read.
Curiosity took over the better part of each of us but the que.
The que for women was relatively smaller. One of the bolder ones bought a water bottle from the nearby stand and got it empty, then stood in the que for a good 30 mins to get us all a bottle full of -bhaang
Yes i did have a big mouthful of that cool peppermint tasting drink n must agree that it was delicious. The girl who got it offered it to all one by one, Most of us had a sip or two except herself who finished the rest of it . - about 1/3 of a litre.
The effect was pretty fast on her. The otherwise sober among others stood there in front of the big statue of Shiva admiring his muscles n talking sexy about his body.
Other girls somehow caught hold of her and we left her home with a lot of difficulty. She kept on dancing n singing all the way back home. She didn't remember anything a day after. Though we all teased her senses out later. As for me when i reached home i told my mother bout our trip to the temple n me tasting bhang. She offered me regular early lunch and a lemonade. I remember eating more than i usually did n went to sleep . Didnt wake up till night. Had dinner may be ( not sure) n slept again. Woke up next morning.
So eventually a person keeps on doing what ever he's upto for a very long interval of time without being in senses after having bhung. Even a single sip has some effect. It's that strong n thas y m against it.
One more time my father saab ate bhaang pakoras in an official holy party without his knowledge n it was worse, i tell you.
That is why i tell everyone to be afar from these intoxicants. They may be natural jadi booti but they are far more strong than any whiskey or alchohol.Rest is your choice. Call me tweedle dumb or what you may.
Yeah thats a very common scenario seen in shivratri melas and with bhang pakore in India. They going solely for nasha or a trip.
Has anyone read about allegations on Bhai Sukha Singh UK?
