I have heard of a bachan of Baba Nand Singh ji that recitation of mool mantar if done without speaking ,it has way more fal than by speaking, does anyone know anything about that?
As per many mahapurush, When jaap goes into surti automatically it becomes faster & has more phal. We have to start with loud chanting first.

Waheguru ji ki Fateh.
I am a new naam abhiyaasi with Maharaj's grace. Recently, while doing jaap, I feel a nice tingly, warm sensation like a liquid slowly gathering/flowing in my forehead close to the hair line (I would say just beneath it). It feels very nice and throughout the jaap as my attention stays on my voice, it stays there. Its a sweet feeling, not too heavy just tingly. Once the jaap is over, it goes away.
Anyone guide what that could be?
Bhool chuk maaf if I wrote some things in a manner not right.
P.S. I have been following this thread since page 1 and have been inspired by brothers @Sat1176 @Lucky @HisServant posts and the kathas, links, they have shared. Also reading the book 'Forgetting the way of love' as it was recommended once by Sat1176 veerji.
After listening to many Mahapurush,Kathavachaks etc, and reading books, the appropriate response would be that keep at it, keep doing naam simran, you will realize everything from within, Guru is within, all the pleasant & blissful sensations are a blessing. Mind will go through various phases, sometimes chardikala sometimes not so much, sometimes bliss sometimes surrounded by kaam, krodh etc. Just keep at it.

I guess that's a good sign if it gets louder. I am no expert but I would experiment to see how far I can tolerate it.
Gurmukhs have referred to this sharp sound as Sehaj Dhun.
For me it doesn't get louder but just stays noticeable if I bring my awareness to listen to it. This post has once again piqued my interest in listening to it.
Once again, I am no expert, trying to walk on this path, stumbling and falling at every stone. More advanced practitioners can confirm.

@Sat1176 I have noticed that when I am fasting, sounds are more noticeable. Have you noticed anything like that yourself ?
Also, its more noticeable after loud chanting for half an hour.
In the last 1-2 years, I have stopped paying attention to them, but they are there when I bring my awareness to them. Feel like spiritual life has just stalled, although deeper understanding of concepts is increasing but mind is still engrossed in old impressions.

Just heard the simulation, can't imagine the suffering people go through.
Acc. to Gurmat, Naam is the only true Aukhad for all the diseases mental, physical, astral .
Yes, medications do decrease the dopamine levels but come with so many side effects long term, and they are temporary.
All the diseases are due to our Karams, the more Naam we japp, the faster they will get burnt or worked out.
Dukh Daaru..suffering can be medicine.
But yeah , just listening to that stimulation was disturbing...
but we are the Singhs of Guru Gobind Singh, lets live in rehit, and cut these entities with the Khanda of Naam & Gurbani.
And the brahmacharya of 10 indriyas is very important, it will invite grace of Shaheed Singhs, and Guru Sahib.
The grace is always there but we sometimes close the doors to it.

Nanak ke ghar keval Naam
Indeed, Naam Japna is the only way.
We can only try, but in reality everything happens with Guru's grace/ Kirpa.

From my limited understanding so far with Guru's grace, after reading the essence is Naam.
Recite, chant, sing, meditate Naam & Gurbani. Daya/Compassion comes up a lot. Abandoning the taste of Indriyas including tongue as well.
Guru Gobind Singh Ji talks about Alap Ahar Sulap si nindra...meaning little food & little sleep/lethargy inertia.
Baba Deep Singh ji, first mukhi of Damdami Taksal , took amrit from Guru Gobind Singh Ji maharaj , and got blessing that his Naam Rass will never fade even if his head is cut off. He wielded khanda at age of 80 due to Naam Rass. And everyone is familiar with Sant Jarnail Singh Ji , their intense bhagti, sewa, intellect & their fearlessness.
So Naam Rass is essential to win this battle against Mind & of Life. If your goal is Naam, and Prabhu Prapti , one can decide which food or how much sleep helps them for achieving their goal. Each to their own.
Sukhmani Sahib mentions that one can live without food, solely on Naam and singing the praises of God. Sant Harnam Singh Ji rampur khede vale experimented with it , and lived without food for 40 days.
I think everyone should atleast complete one reading of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji, reading 1-2 angs everyday, reading the various translations, along with practicing their hukam of Amritvela, Naam Chanting, control of Indriyas, Brahmacharya, Daya/Compassion, Sewa etc. All the answers unfold themselves, and slowly no queries remain.

Guru Nanak literally told us to jap Har, Hari, Raam. Idk where waheguru came from. I heard it was some sort of secret mantra (questionable). When Waheguru is used in SGGS its used in reference to Krishna
Guru Granth Sahib Ji is Guru of everyone. So when a muslim or hindu reads it, they can see it as an instruction to jap Naam. Now this Naam/Gurmantra will vary according to their tradition or Samparda. So they can do jaap of Allah, Hari, Ram, Gopal, etc..
When a Sikh reads it , it is instruction to do Jaap of Naam/Gurmantra. For Sikhs, Gurmantra is Waheguru. There are many instructions in Guru Granth Sahib to recite Waho Waho or Guru Guru etc.. those imply to do japa of Waheguru Gurumantra.
When Mata Sahib Kaur ji sent out hukamnamas they said to recite Guru Guru which meant Waheguru Mantra.
I am not saying that other name of God are not powerful. But just like a devout wife is only faithful to her one Husband, for Sikhs the sole Gurmantra is Waheguru, and internally we should be devoted to that.
When we are reading Gurbani, anyways we are automatically doing Jaap of all other names of God as mentioned previously.
Having said that, denying the existence of Waheguru Mantra or questioning where it came from, can be seen as an attack on the core of Sikhi, Without waheguru Mantra we are nothing. Guru Nanak Dev Ji have meditated/recited for 36 Yugas on each syllable of Waheguru Mantra. I am sure you did not mean that.
You are free to have your own opinion, I am not going to debate you or try to prove you wrong.
But this post is for other future readers who might read this thread and start questioning Waheguru mantra or its origins. They can decide for themselves. For everyone out there, dont every shake your foundations which have been transmitted throught Panj Pyare to you.
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji ki fateh !
-
Ram, Hari, Krishan , Vasudev, Satnam, Allah, Nirankar, Parmeshwar, Thakur, Gopal, Govind, Prabhu, etc are all names of God and they signify different aspects of God. Uttering them will wash away Sins.
Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji have given a place to every Name, and bhagats from different faiths with different Gurmantras.
However , Guru Nanak Dev Ji is the only Pooran Avtar or Guru Parmeshwar themselves.
For Sikhs, the GuruMantra is WaheGuru as transmitted by Panj Pyare, and as per the maryada that was established by 10th roop of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Yes, I have huge respect for them. His teachings align with Gurmat. He has Naam Kamai. His words have attraction and power.
Probably the only Sanatan Saint on youtube that I think is genuine. I have listened to others like Sadhguru etc but no one attracted me like him.
When I listen to him I am reminded of the updesh of Baba Ishar Singh Ji , & Baba Nand Singh ji on how to do sewa of your isht & how to do prem with Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Baba Ji describes the method of how to read Gurbani. From being in a state of outer and inner purity to watching over your thoughts and intentions.
wah ji wah ! thanks for sharing, so much information & instructions condensed in this short clip.
Summarizing for my own benefit, for later reference :
- best time to wake up is 2 am, 2-4 am good time for Simran due to silence around, must do ishnaan at amritvela, can do ishnaan 1-3 times, also do keshi ishnaanm this is the shudhi of Body
- also keep room, surroundings, etc neat & clean
- keep shudhi// pavitarta of Mann/Mind, the following dirty the mind: kaam, krodh , lobh, moh, ahankar, vashna/desires of son, material wealth etc, raag, dvesh, irkha, nindya/chugli/bakhili...
- if you get an experience contain within
- keep chit in the meaning of Gurbani when reading Gurbani, also have firm belief that Guru Nanak is sitting or standing with us listening to Gurbani as we read it,
- have firm belief/nishcha that we need to meet Guru Nanak in this janam only....
Thats what I understood. please share your understanding as well.

My experience is that i did a ardas for someone in my family and since then my life has gone beda garak since the days of 2012 as it backfired on me.
When you do ardas, you take on the karams of that being, or you have to give portion of your kamai, atleast thats my experience.

What kind of situation is this... We have done everything have gone to a siddh guru who took garantee that he will be fine but no...
What should I do
How long has he been suffering from seizures ?
Also see a neurologist, and get started on anti epileptics in the meantime.
Our Dukh/Sukhs is due to previous karams. Naam/Gurbani has the power to eradicate or lower the impact of Pralabdha Karam. We do not know how much papp we did previously so we do not know how much naam/ gurbani we need. But keep at it.
Who is the siddh guru you got in touch with ?

After Baba Nand Singh ji left their body, Baba Ishar Singh Ji left Nanaksar jagraon , and went to Dehradun & Jhorran to do intense bhagti and sadhana. Baba Isher singh ji were in vairag of their malik all the time.
With the Hukam of Baba Nand Singh ji , Baba Isher Singh Ji were asked to return back to Nanaksar jagraon and build a beautiful house of Guru Nanak ie Nanaksar Gurdwara. Baba Isher Singh ji said that in your time everything was kachha, if we build pakki building, Sangat will do itraz. Baba Nand Singh ji said dont' worry we will get the seva done from Varun Devta meaning Water. In those times, great flood came in Punjab. All the kachhi biuldings were swept away.
Thus, as per Hukam of Baba Nand Singh Ji, Baba Isher Singh ji got the sewa done of Nanaksar Gurdwara Jagraon , hence the beautiful Sangmarmar on a large scale. This sewa was for Guru Nanak Sahib. The sarovar was built in 28 days , which the architects were saying would take approximately a year. Even devi devte and Hari came to take part in Sewa. santa ke karaj aap khloya har kam kravan aya raam
So like a saputar Dhan Dhan Baba Isher Singh Ji established & did parchar of his malik & murshad Dhan Dhan Baba Nand Singh JI.

This was satisfying to watch, its about time these criminals get a good beating.
The cameraman was a real tool too.
Its funny when criminals start getting punished, people start getting apologetic .
There is a famous saying in punjabi laaton ke bhoot baaton se nahi mante.
Just glad that there was no gun involved, and no innocent murder.

Right now it feels like shabad is coming from every direction. Like a circle. It also feels like a bubble of energy. I feel so stable right now. I don't know if this is what this tuk is referring to.
i’m working on building discipline again. just focusing on shabad by itself while going about the day is making so much of a difference. I'm also realizing a lot about myself right now.
i think the reason why I fell off is because I was given some bad advice a few years ago. Someone told me that I should only do simran in life and not focus on kirat. I was a kid back then. I put myself in a mindset where I was doing a lot of simran but falling behind on work/school because of the advice I was given. I eventually had a wake up call when I needed to fix a number of things. I also witnessed/experienced a lot of drama a few years ago with people who I thought were strong with their bhagti and other Sikh groups. I didn't like how they treated people + the number of fights/arguments. So much happened over the years that I got a little pushed away. And then getting back into things was hard because there was the underlying fear that if I no longer felt any anxiety, I would not have any drive to do any work. When I was going hardcore I felt no extreme emotions and no anxiety at all.
I think my mind created a trap for itself. But i think it’s also what gurbani calls “bemukh”. shabad is there but actively choosing not to listen. Literally turning your back away from the guru.
I feel so much better right now. i haven’t been this calm and stable in i think years. I know once i stop listening all the stress and pressure is going to come back. But i don’t think i have the discipline to maintain constant focus yet.
It's going to take timeI appreciate this site right now because it's helping me track changes + there's accountability.
Keep at it brother, slowly & steady, no rush, consistency is key .
Kirat can also become Bhagti. When you are interacting with someone , imagine Guru Nanak residing in their heart, and try your best to help them, this will become sewa. Parkash is everywhere and inside everyone.
You got this bro, Guru will always bring you closer to Him somehow in any way he pleases. : )

There is more to this story. The parents were apparently selling drugs, using drugs, and having alcohol parties at home. Their buisness was getting ruined because of their son. There is interview of Nihang on youtube, clarifying their perspective.
This is why I never jump to any conclusion, before hearing the other side.
