Using the reason that the SRM is the only RM accepted by the Akaal Takht is flawed for 2 big reasons: 1. The people running the Akaal Takht do not always make the right decisions, and 2. The SRM has plenty of flaws e.g. the Nitnem, our most basic rehat. I'm sorry but, as useful as the SRM is in uniting the Panth, it is, by every account, inherently flawed. Read 5 baanis in the morning? Not if you follow SRM. Read long chaupaee and rehraas? Not in the SRM. Read rakhiya de shabad before sohila? Not in the SRM. Respect the baani of 10 master on par with SGGSJ? The SRM contradicts itself at this point! Etc. Etc. Etc! SRM is a good document for uniting the Panth. But it is not by any stretch of the imagination the be all and end all of Sikhi.

If you look symbolically (which a lot of us aren't doing ) , the charitar being done by the "Triya" is actually being done by the mind. The body doesn't do the charitar, the mind does the charitar.

Secondly, as much as I respect DDT, I do not agree with their opinion to ban women from doing sukhasan sewa in harmandir sahib. That's just wrong. I don't think Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji would have approved of such a thing...

Where does Baba Hari Singh Ji say that a woman can NEVER do seva of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji? I don't think he said that at all.

Just a small point. Whilst we do respect the Akaal Takht, not every decision made by the people running the Akaal Takht is correct (I think we all know at least one example).

"Charitr" is done by budhhi, not by body. Hence, metaphorically, Charitr also is a reference to budhhi (mind/intellect)

May be those mandirs/mazars were "illegal" as you put it? In any case, no religious place of worship should be destroyed (try telling that to the Indian army!). However, fake samadhs/deras made for the sole purpose of misleading the public should be dealt with accordingly.
