Dude, its not that hard, there is always aunty Linda we call always rely on.....lol. It does not taste the same but its similar, and once you gone away from the taste, its really not that hard when you come to think of it. I used to be like you and think I could never give up meat, but then found out that I could live even without eating meat. The hardest hurdle for me was giving up cakes! eggless all the way . I know there are some people who might not agree with me on this, Its just my personal choice. If you think its wrong to eat, then it should not be that hard to stop. It all comes down at the end is how much love we have for guru ji. Regarding taking Amrit, I think its always been an option, or else wouldn't Guru Gobind Singh ji simply have ordered 5 sikhs to come up to give their heads, but instead he ASKED for 5 sikhs and not ordered 5 sikhs to come forward. So its up to us to decide if we want to become guru wale sikh or not.

Not really, I am not from there, just been there a few times, and yes I am sure must have seen you around. Its not hard to miss this hideous face . If you can't make it to the kings one, then I am sure that park avenue gurdwara must have a class going on, if not then I know martindale rd gurdwara Hounslow definitely has one. I think 6 pm on sundays there is a youth evening at Sheppards bush gurdwara and I am sure they will be able to give you some info. I hope you find a class. Couldn't agree with you any more Harpreet sio;). The thing is, The one's that do convert are not totally to blame. The parents are to blame as well to a certain extent. If the parents dont know about the beauty of sikhi , then what are they going to teach their kids? The other reason for this I think is the lack of unity in our community, one see's many groups just have too many disputes with each other, so if someone sees this happening and some other person comes in and says that they only preach love and no hatred, they might concider it. Please forgive me if I have said anything to offend anyone. Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh !

wjkk wjkf Gurmukhi is precise and not like english where one word can have multiple meanings( personal opinion and according to what I have understood from listening to others, but could be wrong). The correct way that I been taught to pronounce it is IK O-AN'G'- Kar. The G is silent and its like you speaking trough the nose. Hope that helps. wjkk wjkf
