Within all faiths exist "kattarpanthis" (extremists/fanatics who wish to enforce their narrow-minded, bigotted, and most often hippocritical views on others). Sikhs are not immune to such influences....although many would like to think that all Sikhs are the farishtey of Kalyug. Considering the image of Sikhs today as propagated by the media regarding certain individuals who have committed by what can only be termed "extremist acts", it is not surprising that many draw parallels between Sikhs and Taliban. Media will always amplify everything regardless of how "unfair" a situation may be. Sadly these kattarpanthis are the ones who seem to make the most noise, but thankfully, they are always in the minority. It would be illogical if they were considered as being representative of a faith as a whole. Educating people and removing ignorance is one method to avoid the populace drawing such parallels and allows people to make a distinction between the faithful and the twisted...

Some advice... It may be an idea to actually do your research regarding the RSS. If you had, you would not make the statements you have made In trying to "expose" us, you are only exposing your own ignorance. You have to remember that many non-sikhs also visit these forums, so it may be an idea to actually think before posting anything. We wouldnt want people to get the impression that Sikhs are so ignorant and paranoid about their own faith now wud we?

So therefore, this statement is complete bullshit. If anyone has any doubts, then turn up to the classes and see for yourself. Secondly, it is people such as yourself who have such paranoia about Nihang Singhs who prevent others from learning the art of Savya Rakhsha and Shastar Vidiya and then moan about how Sikhs are getting attacked on the streets. If you do not wish to learn, its your loss....this vidiya will simply go to someone who appreciates it more than you. Finally, try to understand that not has such Talibanistic ideals such as yourself with it comes to practicing Sikhi. Every individuals perception of Dharam is dependend on their intellect and experience as speaks Chaupee Sahib, learn to respect the teachings of Gurbani if nothing else and allow people the freedom to explore their own Sikhi.

Have a read of literature produced by the AKJ. I am sure there is a story where Bhai Randhir Singh (or one of the Sikhs within his sangat) encountered a Ghost. Also, I believe there is a tape in existance of a recording taken during an exorcism of a child by a famous Saint (possibly Sant Ishar Singh??). (someone please correct me if I am wrong)

J Singh It is considered as being invalid by the Akali Nihang Singh Khalsa, the traditional, and oldest and most authentic Khalsa instutition within Sikhi.

In contrast, within the Akali Nihang Dals, men receive Amrit that has been stirred with BOTH a "kard" (held in left hand) and a "khanda" (held in right hand) For both men and women, Amrit is made in the "hazoori" (presence) of Adi Guru Durbar, Dasam Guru Durbar, (where possible Sarbloh Guru Durbar), Sarbloh (weapons), and 5 Akali Nihangs Singhs (with farlas)....without any of these being present, Amrit is considered invalid. *waits for the uproar*

..like I said before, when the time comes for www.nihang.com we will let everyone know. As yet people are still trying to deal with www.sarbloh.info and www.shastarvidiya.org and we have not received any intellectual debate to counter what has been said on these websites. (...it seems ppl prefer to poke holes in the 5% they disagree with rather than build upon and appreciate the 95% they agree with) In the mean time, feel free to make your own comments, speculations, accusations, threats, etc etc
