I think a lottery ticket is perfectly OK! as lkong as you don't have a bad habit. Whoever said stock market isn't a gamble is wrong, even opening up your own business is a gamble. I lost alot of my own money and my parent's money on stocks and I do consider it a gamble, much more so then a $1 lottery ticket. Imagine if a gursikh wins a 20 million lottery how much good he could do for the world.

I thought Rupz had a good question. Watching television doesn't help sikhi either, should we ban that too? But ya I agree we are very lazy people who should get our act together and learn paath. Instead we walk around and only pray to God when we have problems and no where to turn.

hi Hari, Why not pay attention to these things? Our minds are curious. Sikh means student, everyone wants to learn. Some of us always think there is more to the world and it is this curiousity that helps us learn. It's not like Rupz or any of us are going to start worshipping ghosts or something lol. BUT to have the knowledge that they do exist and if some of us don't do the right things then we might be turned into ghosts and roam the earth in spirit form for however long, this will keep some people on the right track.

Ghosts definitly exist. Bhai Randheer Singh Ji has a book about them and other spirits. I asked this on another forum but I'll ask here to: the tape sounded quite weird to me, I am skeptical of some these things. It seemed though as if he was trying to act scary and whenever he tlaked these weird noises in the background came as if someone adding sound effects. Does Sant Ishar Singh ji ever talk with Suleman or even about Suleman afterwards? some people say Sant Ishar Singh ji was present during the captured conversation, some say he wasn't.

Dude, I could care less what was on that piece of paper but if you want to test real psychics then go ahead they will tell you what is on that peice of paper. Some psychics had similar tests done on them and some knew what was on that peice of paper. Anyways this is not astral traveling, duh. You mean to tell me he has a psychotic disorder? I'm sure you mean the people that come into contact with negative entities and start to hear little voices that tell them to do bad things?

If I were to ever Astral Travel (Or whatever name anyone wants to give it), I would just ask God to guide me and if I'm not meant to go there please don't let me. Some GurSikhs can clearly see out of their third eye and other senses are enhanced by so much. They have been doing naam simran for a long time to acquire this. They acquire this so God tests them if they get wrapped up in this or if they keep following the true path?

So true otherwise if we have a continuous long sleep too long we will forget our dreams. I wish dreams made sense but I get the most bizarre dreams.

Hari, People always say that they saw different types of creatures in the astral realm similar to dragons and such. This makes me think maybe mythology did take place but in the astral realm. I just want to be clear about illusion and reality. I beleive an illusion or hallucinations are created by people who do drugs and think they are seeing something in a different realm BUT people who meditate without the use of drugs expereince the real thing. Anyone want to clear it up?
