Unfortunately - this was one of the defining moments in killing Kirtan traditions in the mainstream - where filmi/thumri influenced kirtan pretending to be semi-classical (hukmi Raag was out the window by now) put a big long nail in the coffin. Gurus actual message was changed. A shabd in the most serious mood of Sri Raag where a discussion with mind is being had - it turned into a celebratory money spinner for the innovative entrepreneurial Raagi generation.
